Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I want access to my music library from my MacBook Pro, iPad and/or my iPhone 16. I’ve read setup instructions, but nothing gets access to my library. HELP!!

I have this bug in the latest (October update 80.10.06) of the android app.If I select “Add to Queue” for a single track from my Music Library, then the queue is no longer accessible from the “playing” window.  I get the error message “Unable to load.  Please Try Again”.Selecting “Add to Queue” for an album seems to work correctly.  Also for a single track/item for other services (e.g. Soundcloud, Amazon Music are ok).This has been reported to Sonos.Other points to note.The track IS added to the end of the queue.  But I can only view it in my PC Windows Sonos app.  So the queue is ok, just no longer viewable or accessible in the Android app. The Queue is no longer visible or editable on the android app.  You cannot clear it.  The only work around is to add something else to the Queue using the “Replace” option.  This “resets” the queue. If you add a single track to the existing queue in the windows app, the updated queue is still visible on the android app.  Tried all the usual… Sonos

It’s beyond a joke.I have an arc, 2x ones and a 2nd gen sub which I use with the TV (77LGC4) plugged into the arc hdmi.Basically none of the features in the app work:- night mode ❌ I press the button and nothing happens- speech enhancement ❌ I press the button and nothing happens- EQ ❌ I change settings and no changes to the audio are made and when I go back to the EQ setting they are all reset back to ‘0’- audio codec detector ❌ the app says I’m playing in stereo despite plex playing in Atmos and I can hear the surrounds playing individually. Sometimes it will pick it up but not consistently.- Trueplay ❌ goes through the setup process but won’t stay turned on and no difference to audioDigital audio output from the TV is set to ‘auto’, but I get the same results if I set it to PCM or passthrough.What is going on?     

If i pair the two play 1 i have with a sub mini will i get to play using airplay 

I have the Sonos app downloaded on my iPad as well on my google pixel 7 pro softphone. on the One on ipad it recognize One part of my whole system namely soundbar and 2 speakers play:1.and on my softphone its recognizing only my Sonos One but not my soundbar and the play:1and for both devices it claims not to be able to find the missing parts????? they are of course connected to the same network.

We’ve had problems for quite a long time now with our home network suffering from periodic broadcast storms (usually after an interruption to our main router), requiring powering off/on of multiple devices to resolve.  With the help of my good wife we finally narrowed it down (with a packet capture) to our network setup and SonosNet causing a network / bridging loop.We have a house that has been extended and modified over time, so WiFi (and SonosNet) reception across the entire house is poor in places (we previously suffered multiple drop-outs until we invested in 2 x Boost).  We have a WiFi network (ASUS RT-AX88U and RT-AX92U routers, linked with AIMesh) which covers most of the core of the house, and use cables and unmanaged Netgear switches for our main home/office and our TV entertainment system, etc.  Our Sonos system is hard wired at five locations (2 x Sonos Boost, 1 x Play:1, 1 x Amp, 1 x Five), the rest connect via SonosNet (on Channel 11 which isn’t used on our home WiFi setu

This is my first Sonos speaker. In order to set up play 3, I had to connect it to my router with an ethernet cable. When I move the speaker to a different location, it was not recognized. Has anyone experienced this and solved the problem?

My Sonos one is not playing the last second of a song from the local library (smb).Crossfader is off.Problem has already been reported on Reddit.Does anyone else can confirm this? Is this a bug of a firmware update?Sonos one fw 81.1-58074

Hello,I own a Playbase, two One speakers, and a Gen 3 Sub in my living room. It's a system I'm very happy with, and the only thing I'm missing is compatibility with Atmos, and maybe later on with the Sonos Ace. Recently, I bought a 4K Panasonic player, and I'm really excited to try out movies with an Atmos audio track.I've read in many places that the Playbase sound is better than the Beam 2, with more spatial depth and better bass. I’m not sure if this would be balanced out with my current setup of two rear One speakers and the Sub 3.Also, I'm not sure how much of a difference it would make to watch a movie with my current setup in Dolby 5.1 compared to watching it with the Beam 2 and the rest of the components in Dolby Atmos.Right now, I have all four HDMI ports on my TV occupied, so I’d probably have to connect it with the optical adapter. I don’t mind losing HDMI CEC functionality and similar features, but I’m unsure if this would mean a lower sound quality when playing Atmos conte

Why has my Apple Music streaming services stopped working on my Sonos system? Is someone working on a fix for this? I have been listening to Apple Music on sonos for years without any issues, but all of a sudden I’m not able to stream from Apple. Amazon works fine.

I have an existing system, using S1 app, and have successfully set up a music library, which is a usb stick plugged into my router (this is a BT Smart Hub 2 for any UK based users reading this). I have added an Era 300, on the S2 app of course, however using the same path for the music library, it says it’s not recognised on the S2 app. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any support and guidance with this. 

I am still having problems with compilation albums after the latest update, 16.4.2. The album is shown in my music library but there is no music, I get the message ‘No selections are available’.   Anyone else with this issue? 

In a group I lost the left speak. I want to move a ONE from another group to that position.How to?

My Sonos app will connect to only one device at a time. I have a Roam and an Arc. When I connect to the Arc and try to add the Roam to the same source, the app tells me, "Unable to connect. Try again later." Same if I connect to the Roam and try to add the Arc. I can connect to one at a time and add a different source to each, but I can't connect both devices to the same source simultaneously.  This is a new problem. I've had the same setup for nearly a year with no problem until now. I've restarted the app and both devices to no avail.  Any ideas?

In the old app if I had found a song via search and was playing it, I could then directly tap for the album info / track listing to see the rest of the album it came from.Is this ever coming back in the new app? I don’t see it on the trello board. Was very useful!

So, I was listening to my music this morning for an hour or so, no problems, when right in the middle of a song, the music stopped. Nothing. I have five speakers, 2 sonos play 1 and 2 sonos play 5 and a Move. When I opened the controller, all my speakers were gone except the Move. And the playlist I was listening to, was replaced by music that I listened to months ago. I won’t go into the details but I spent a good chunk of the day getting things back to some semblence of what it was. Actually, I did it once, then the controller would randomly quit on me several times, so I had to do everything over. It hasn’t quit on me since the second time. However, now, whenever I add an album to the queue it is jumbled up, that is, the songs are in a seemingly random order, not the correct order. And if I add other albums, they are all jumbled up together, that is, I might have song or two from one album followed by a song from another album followed by a song from a third album then back to the f

Can someone confirm for me that an Apple Time Capsule is no longer compatible for use as a NAS with Sonos? I have been unable to use my Sonos since the app update however many months ago. Prior to that, my Time Capsule functioned as my NAS (in addition to being my router and where I back up my Macbook). Since the update, I have spent hours and hours googling and searching YouTube videos to try to play my music but I’ve never been able to reconnect my music library with my Sonos. Yesterday I finally found this thread that appears to say the Time Capsule is no longer an option but I’d like to get another confirmation before moving on. I don’t know what generation my Time Capsule is, but it’s at least a decade old. I don’t know exactly what SMB v2 or v3 are, but it looks like the Time Capsule is SMB v1 which I understand is now a no-go. Is that correct?Anyone who is kind enough to respond, please bear in mind that I am not technically savvy. Thank you!

I have an assortment of older Sonos speakers and I was wondering, what component/s do I need to add to connect directly to my Wi-Fi network?  I’m currently using two Sonos bridges atm.

If I have two Play 1s in a group (room), pressing the mute button on one shuts off both.
