Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Is anyone else struggling to order? I’ve tried to put four different Sonos products into my shopping basket only to be told that Sonos is out of stock!! Surely they must have some products available???!!!

I'm curious what others feel about Sonos favorites in the new (v80) app. I'm sure people have provided feedback previously but a lot of this feedback is probably buried in the massive general feedback threads. I think it would be interesting to have a dedicated thread on Sonos favorites. Please add your thoughts.Here are my thoughts...I'm not particularly fond of the way favorites has been implemented in the new app. In the old (v16) app different favorite sections were placed on the My Sonos tab and if I remember correctly I could re-arrange the order of the different sections to my personal preference. In the new app its not possible to arrange the order of favorite sections within the main favorites screen, and the favorites we see on the home screen are not under our control. It seems to me that recently added favorites are shown on the home screen. This isn't the favorites section that I want on the home screen, and so for me is just a waste of space, even more so since it occupie

The new Sonos (Web) App is missing important curated playlists from Tidal:My New Arrivals My Daily DiscoveryMissing Playlists in Sonos They can’t be found when searching for them and neither are available when browsing in “My Collection” under Mixes or Playlists.  Please make these available @SONOS 

I own a Samsung TV and stream through my Apple TV. I have connected a Ray to the TV via the optical cord. I have then connected two Sonos ones to the ray within the Sonos app. Audio is playing through the ray, but not the ones. I have ungrouped and regrouped them but it doesn’t help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Good afternoon,When I want to adjust the volume of the different rooms, I notice that there is hardly any room at the beginning of the volume slider to listen to music "quietly", I am always at a maximum of 4 but more often around 2 so all the way to the left. The question is whether this can be set differently? 

How do I remove a speaker from app my Sonos account?

Hello everyone, I moved into a new house which has ceiling speakers in most rooms.  I think 8 rooms in total.  I have used Sonos for 18 years so I want to continue to do so.  All of the speakers are cabled back to one server room.  DO I need to purchase an amp for each zone that I want to control?  Or is there a more economical way around this? Also what is the maximum distance from Amp to speaker allowed? Many thanks John 

How do I get the move2 to play what the beam is playing. 

Is there any way to delete some artists from the Smooth Jazz playlist? I am TOTALLY fed up with Chuck Mangione, Al Jarreau and Michael Franks!!! There are so many great smooth Jazz artists out there so there is plenty of talent to take the place of these zero talent artists! Can we please be rid of these sooner than later as I start looking for the razor blades as soon as they start their droning?

I’m still having huge problems with the new app - it is virtually unusable - I spent two hours with Sonos support on the phone last week only for the app to turn into a pile of * the next day.it appears that Sonos only works properly if you unplug your router and mesh system and all of your Sonos equipment and then one by one switch it all on again.  You need to do this on a daily basis!Can anyone help?  *Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.* 

Background: 2x SONOS One’s joined as a L/R pair; SONOS Soundbar.Issue: Some time ago now, the SONOS App I was using stopped showing album art. Although not a problem at first, I am now very annoyed by this.  Other apps e.g. VLC will show album art for any and all tracks in my personal library (on my NAS). This is due in no small part to me checking every track I have and ensuring that album art is embedded within the .mp3 or .m4a file.Attempted solutions: 1. Delete/reinstall latest SONOS App on my Android tablet - no difference. 2. Re-link my personal library - App says it’s already synced, no difference. 3. Create a new playlist on the NAS - App sees and plays it, but still no album art. 4. For info, playlists that I have deleted on my PC, still show up in the App as imported playlists. (??? Why ???)If someone could provide an idiots guide to get my system working again, with album art, I would be very grateful.  If this involves factory resets on my kit, I am prepared to do that.Than

This is driving me nuts. I want to use Apple Music. I get the message Your Apple Musiv account access has expired. I am asked to sign in which i do. I get back to Your Services. Press Manage content It says you must sign out and sign back as the ownerof these services. I cant delete and reauthorise Apple Music  Is it IOS18? 

I am looking to create a Cinema Room in my home. I was planning on using an ARC Soundbar, a Sub Gen III, two Sonos in-wall speakers at the front and two Sonos in ceiling speakers at the back. Would all these components be compatible? If so would I need two Amps? And how should I configure them?

Have just bought a new Beam Mk 2 to pair with 2023 LG OLED 42" TV. Works fine but cannot get Atmos.Have followed various tips (see below) but Sonos app does not show Atmos in 'now playing' or 'system/about'. Using HDMI-2 (eARC) on TV to link to Beam using Sonos-supplied HDMI cable HDMI Input Audio Format - Bitstream (on all HDMI outputs) Digital Sound Output - Passthrough eARC Support: On Content - tried 'The Tomorrow War' via Amazon Prime among others which should be in Atmos Source - have tried built-in LG app (Prime) and Fire TV Stick 4K Max (Atmos-capable) - no difference. TV settings show Atmos enabled (but greyed out) but I think that only refers to TV speakers (I've selected HDMI-2 output on the TV sound settings).I've just ordered a different HDMI cable on Amazon to see if that's the issue though I'd have hoped the Sonos-supplied one would be ok.Sonos app and Beam 2 have both been updated to latest software.Any help greatly appreciated!

About a week ago, I was leaving for a trip and was charging my Roam 2 to take it. I noticed while using the app that it was actually loosing charge not charging. I was using a wall charger that is PD20W that I bought specifically to charge it. Since then it has completely lost charge and won’t turn on. The app doesn’t recognize it so I can’t check to see the battery level. This is really badly designed. Fist of, why do I need to have it connected to a specific wifi for the app to be able to see it? This is so dumb… also, why is there no way to see the battery level on the actual device or even in the app without using the wifi thing so I can see if it’s actually charging or not.I’ve only used it like 5 times and it seems this is a common issue sinece the Sonos Roam 1 and it still hasn’t been fixed. Why?Also, for the cost of the Sonos Roam 2 you could’ve included the wall charger. This is the worst experience I’ve had with a bluetooth speaker!Is there a way to make it charge and turn on

I see the playlist on the app but they are empty 

I just upgraded my original connect system to a new port, however I can’t seem to connect it to my existing Sonos 1 speaker. The new system works on my hifi but cannot find the existing Sonos speaker. The speaker does show when using my laptop but the new port doesn't. Can anyone help?

This may prove informative to some and upsetting to others. Judging from the negative posts that continue to inundate this community regarding the app there will probably be quite a few upset. I’m sure those who are; or rather disagree, will have choice words to leave as a reply. So be it😑To my point, I started a stream of Tidal Smooth Jazz music to my Five’s in stereo pair from my iPad Pro M4 using the latest version of the Sonos app and iOS 18.0.1.I proceeded to close the app on my iPad and open it on my iPhone 15 ProMax with the same parameters of Sonos app and iOS. I made a few adjustments to volume looked at other areas of my system via the app and finally closed the app on my iPhone.Next stop….Samsung Galaxy Tab running Android14. Performed similar operations on it as was done on my iPhone and then closed the app on it as well. All the while the Tidal music stream hasn’t missed a beat. Moving on I adjourned to my office where I have a stereo pair of Move2’s . I decided to manual

sonos play 1 is no longer compatible with the new update. the previous app can no longer be found. the suggestions to fix the problem don't work. what can I do ?

I am having difficulty connecting my Sono Ace to my Sonos Ray for the TV Swap feature. While it says I am “Connected” after following the steps, I cannot connect TV sound to the Ace. I called the tech support four separate times today, checked and have all the latest updates, and factory reset my headphones with no luck. Any ideas (I am about to give up. Great looking and fantastic Bluetooth sound, but without the convienent TV Swap feature at the price, I’d rather go with the Apple headphones

I am having a really annoying issue where my Spotify Release Radar playlist is not updating properly on Sonos, but is instead playing last week’s songs. For context, the Release Radar playlist is updated every week by Spotify. I have tried playing it through Spotify directly and choosing Sonos as the speaker, but infuriatingly Sonos changes the queue in Spotify to the old playlist! I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting Spotify to my Sonos account and no luck there either, it reverts back to last week’s playlist. How do I force an update? How can I stop Sonos from rewriting my queued songs on Spotify?

My Arc and Sub Gen3 were working fine when both were connected via Ethernet. I recently rebuilt my home network and improved the Wi-Fi coverage, so I disconnected both speakers from Ethernet and changed their networks to my Wi-Fi. Since then, no combination of network settings changes, reboots, and factory resets will get my Sub to play any audio. I’ve connected the Arc to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Ethernet, and the Sub to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, 5GHz Wi-Fi, and Ethernet. I’ve rebooted both speakers multiple times and factory reset both speakers. What else can I do here?

Since the latest update of the app I get auto logged out a couple of times a week!It’s so annoying! I use my roam to wake up so I usually have to set it on different times each night. And now when I’m tired as * I have to start logging in again. And I you don’t even save my details so I have to put the whole email and password in each freaking time!Also you hid the wake-up function pretty well in the update. I have been doing my research on a soundbar for the master bedroom and I ave decided on the Sonos Beam (Gen 2), my first Sonos product.In the master bedroom our setup consists of a 60” LG TV plus an Apple Box 4K. The Apple box is connected directly to the HDMI Arc, but I am not sure if the TV supports eArc.  When I get the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) which HDMI do I connect the soundbar to?I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide.Thank you all

Hi there, I have been having an issue with a play one which I got given from my dad along with another (which works fine just now) and the one I am having bother with was working perfectly fine for a while and now seems to not want to connect to my Sonos app after I just purchased a Sonos ray so looking to get the 2 play 1’s setup for movies etc.  the play one I am having issues with is showing up on my Sonos app and when I go to connect I get by the connecting to the Sonos wifi but soon as I get to the chime it just does not want to do it. I have tried doing a factory reset and does not change from orange to green! Bit of a pain and have done it even with Ethernet cable connected and unfortunately still the same result. Thought I would ask in here as a last ditch effort before I go and buy another. If anyone else has had the same issue or has found a fix it would be greatly appreciated to share.
