Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

SONOS app on Apple iPadBrightspeed Fiber with GigaSpire BLAST u6.2 Router I have used SONOS for years with both DSL and Spectrum cable. Today I had Brightspeed Fiber installed. The router has one SSID for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Sonos products are not found on the network and of course will not connect. Have tried …Disabling the 5GHz radio in order to make ONLY 2.4GHz available Disabling the router firewall entirely so there was no filtering of traffic in or traffic outAnd assistance would be greatly appreciated. I’m all out of ideas to make SONOS work. Thank you !!!

I recently upgraded from arc+ play 1's to arc ultra + era 100I made a quick trueplay with my android app , but i don't know why we can't set manually surround distance ( greyed After the procédure) after that.I doesn't make sense since quick trueplay doesn't adjust listening position ( Don't tell me to do advanced trueplay, it never sets a good listening position between surrounds since years....)

 When I Save a user created playlist from Amazon Music to Sonos Favorites I get a message saying Removed from Sonos Favorites instead of Saved to Sonos Favorites.  The playlist does get added.  The wrong message pops up. 

First of all, I’d like to clarify something: Can I have multiple homes linked to the same Sonos account?For example, House 1 with one system, House 2 with another system, and House 3 with another system, all connected to a single email account for Sonos?This would allow me to control the systems by connecting to the Wi-Fi of each home without the need to have three different accounts with three different emails.That said, here’s the issue:I have a Sonos system with a Move 2 at home.I purchased another Move 2 for the office. When I try to connect it by creating a new location in the app, the application detects the Move 2 and proceeds with the setup process. However, when I select the Wi-Fi and enter the password, it says the network is not recognized.The Move 2 for the office has been reset multiple times (even though it’s new), but the connection still doesn’t work. Hi,  I have an Arc and sub and I was thinking of adding my 2 Sonos Ones as rear speakers. The issue I am having is that the power cord does not reach the wall plug. I need a 3 meter power cord and I can not seem to find any. My wall plug is just a 2 pin power point, so I can not use an extension lead. Any suggestions or know where I can buy a 3 meter power cord for the Sonos One?

Hi, my Sonos-App on iOS shows the following under Settings → Switch SystemSonos System (1) [5 Rooms] Sonos System (2) [5 Rooms]So if i switch between the systems, nothing obviously changes in the app. If run “Forget System” in the app and “Join an existing system”, it shows “Multiple Systems found” and then lists all my Era 100s and Arc Ultra in System one system, and my 2 Sonos One SLs in another system. When i join any of them, my app is like before (i.e. i see all rooms and speakers and can control them)If they are split, some things can be only done by actively switching the systems, for example if i want to unpair or pair my One SLs into a Stereo set, that only works if i switch to Sonos System (2) (which contains only the One SLs i believe).I already tried factory resetting one of the two One SL and before re-adding it to a system and i made sure i’m in Sonos System (1) before adding the One SL, however, after forgetting the syst

I have the following problem.I had my Gen 1 system working for many years, and today (me stupid) I pressed update..And here are the problems:My play 3 and 5 (1st gen) speakers stopped to playAsking to update but of course won t update because it is not compatible SO I reset play 3 to factory settings on SONOS app,  and downgraded to S1 , but not sure about the result I cannot add it to sonos S1 appPlay 5 was also reset, but I can t even see it on Sonos app, What I am doing wrong?From 6 speakers only 3 are working ( 2 pcs play one, and connect)2 pcs Play 5 and one Play 3 not working

Not sure if it is supposed to or not, but it would be great if the Sonos S2 Controller App when playing a song would call the Windows Media API call so that it would show as now playing and the Windows media shortcut keys would work like volume up and down and previous and next song. Also, when the screen it locked it would show up as the song now playing on the lock screen. This would also allow other applications to display this information as rich presence in applications like Discord.

In the current Sonos app on iPhone, I see absolutely no way to create a playlist. I have searched online and the steps that even Sonos lays out do not even match what is on the corresponding screen. Ugh, this is such an awful app that it is unbelievable that any designer could have even thought of this. I’m a pretty educated person- I have an M.D. and an MBA and I record music in Logic as a hobby, yet I cannot begin to figure out how to make a playlist. It was so much easier in the old app! Can anyone help me?

So the replacement battery is still OUT of stock??Is it ever going to available again?Has anyone purchased a generic version?

Morning,I’ve taken delivery of a Sonos Arc soundbar to upgrade my Beam (Gen1).  Using the existing cabling (also tried the new cabling in the box) when setting up the Arc everything goes to plan until I get to setting up with the TV (LG Web OS UK6950PLB).  The app advises that no HDMI-ARC is available, but am getting a signal on HDMI 2 from the arc.  I’ve tried restarting the app along with the tv and ARC.  The Beam works fine through my LG on the HDMI port so know this is fine.I’ve also defaulted both the ARC and TV with no success.  Has anyone else had this issue or suggestions on how to resolve? 

Hi,I mostly use Sonos to listen to my music library (USB device on my router). I use the iOS app and despite the latest updates, some functionalities are still missing for me.I like to use « Folders » instead of « Artist », « Album » or « Song », because it keeps my music in the classification order I want (and because all albums/songs from an artist are in the same place, even if there are many featuring with other artists).In previous app, I could play all files in a folder without having to manually choose each subfolder/file.In the new app, when using « Folders », I first have to choose one subfolder (album) to have the option to play it. If I want to play all the subfolders (albums) of a folder (artist), I need to add each subfolder to the queue.Whereas.. If I use « Artist » instead of « Folders », I do have the option to play all.Previously, « Folders » worked the same way as « Artist » for example. When I was in a folder, I could play

Hi there, I have a Foxel iQ4 box, a Sony KD-49X8000H and a Sonos Beam (gen 2) soundbar. I currently have the Beam connected to the TV using the HDMI-ARC output. This configuration appears to work well, but I’m interested in getting the best performance from my system.Q1. Is this the best way to conect the soundbar to the TV?Q2. I have the option of sending audio from the TV to the soundbar in either PCM or compressed Dolby format. Which is the best option to use for the Beam to optimize sound quality?Thanks, Andrew

However, I’m now trying to figure out if it will work with my Sonos home theater setup to get Dolby Atmos sound streaming.Here’s my setup:Hisense Canvas 65 (being shipped) Sonos Beam (Gen 2) Era 100s (as surrounds) Mini SubI don’t plan to connect any external devices (like a gaming console or Blu-ray player) to the TV or the sound bar, I stream content directly from the TV apps (Netflix, Apple TV, etc.)When I checked the specs for my new TV,  it has two built-in speakers and it says the surround sound supported is DTS Virtual:X and not Dolby Atmos. Sonos Location PossibilitiesHi there Sonos folks,I just purchased 2 era 300’s to accompany a Arc Ultra, but I’m having trouble figuring out the best placement and angle. In the photo there is a representation of a couch which will be facing the TV (we are replacing this couch with a U shaped couch). The room is a bit tricky because it’s vaulted in a unique way, my guess would be for the red circles I would want it facing down, but I’m not sure if it would work well. The couch is relatively close to that wall as well, probably 4 feet? It seems like the downward facing driver wouldn’t hit your ears at the right angle? I believe I read that the upside down orientation is now supported via true play and Atmos content, but would love confirmation. Would

HelloI cannot see any recent threads on this but about 10 days ago my alarms have just stopped working altogether. have tried setting an hour before, radio, Sonos chime, set playlist etc but nothing seems to work. The time comes and goes and no music whatsoever from the Sonos. So frustrating as this used to be perfect before all the problems. Then the set timings had to be an hour before but it was at least functional. Now nothing

Hi! I have a playbase and a new house. I have a router and I first connected the playbase to the network generated by the router. Then I installed a mesh network in the house because the router did not cover the whole thing. Now I am resetting the playbase to set it up with the mesh network. However, in the setup it only offers to connect the playbase to the old network generatesd by the router. The app offers to connect to another network and it shows the neighbours networkw but not my mesh network.i first had this problem with my other sonos products (one and symfonisk) but then they connected to my mesh network. I can only use the mesh network because it is the only one covering the whole house and I have sonos «all over». How can I connect the playbase? Also tried to type in the mesh network name and enter password manually but no luck.

My Arc works just fine. It is hardwired to my AV distribution center in the basement, along with 5 amps for different zones.  The HDMI interface on my Samsung Frame TV works flawlessly.  The Problem: ARC refuses to pair with the app. Every single other speaker, amp, MOVE, and random S1s I have around the house all paired long ago, and work perfectly.  whats the deal!?  How do I fix?? Avid Sonos user, so please assume I’ve done all the typical troubleshooting (unplugs, updates, etc).

We have 6 original Sonos play 3 speakers;2 original play 1 speakers; a Boost;  2 soundbars; 2 base speakersand a Move portable  speaker. The eight are identified  as 4 rooms.     ON the Sonos app  all of the rooms have disappeared, the only one visible is the Move.Any idea what's  up? 

Looking for a man cave solution. I have 7 TVs set up in sports bar fashion. I’m curious how I can get the ability to select which tv I want to source the sound to the sonos speakers connected to my Sonos amp. Just like at a sports bar. All the games on but I want the ability to select which one I want sound from.

Hey everyone,after the (terrible) Sonos system update, the (e)ARC connection between my TV and my Sonos Amp stopped working. No sound is played at all and the TV setup in the Sonos app just states, that no (e)ARC connection is possible. As it worked before the update, of course the TV is set to output the sound to the (e)ARC-HDMI-port. Tried turning it off and on again, reconnected the HDMI-cable a couple of times, rebooted the TV and the Amp and even set the TV to factory settings and reanabling (e)ARC-output. No dice.Does anyone has a solution to this? Or do I just have to wait until Sonos fixes this problem? It’s so frustrating...
