Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hello, I purchased the Arc 300 and had it hardwired to the t.v. It always works because it's hard wired. The problem with the Move 2 is that it does not want to connect to the Arc when you turn it on. In fact, a lot of times it plays the last station of music from the Sonos app which is closed, while the t.v. plays on the Arc. This happens ALL the time. It is connected to the router, not Bluetooth. I have contacted Sonos support but they cannot permanently fix the problem. Does anyone have a fix for this, please?

Over the last  months, I have been unable to play my music library which is stored on my laptop.I get the error message - Unable to add shared file “//desktop-F4KC5KJ/Music/full music library denied. I have even tried via the web app but I can get nothing to play. Any ideas

The Playbase is blocked and won't turn on.Therefore it must be unplugged. When I plug it back in, it does not turn back on at all. I noticed that it blocks following a shock.1st time: a very loud explosion sound in a movie2nd time: a little screw dropped on it3rd time: the plug of an alimentation cable droped on it. So, i have tested something : a small deliberate shock and right after that, it turns back on. Why ?

I have Philips TV 58PUS8545/12 and Beam Gen 2 which are connected via HDMI ARC. HDMI CEC is enabled and I’m able to control volume level on Beam using my TV Remote.However, when changing volume, I don’t have any indication on my Philips TV Screen. Neither sometning is changing nor volume level. Tried with standard procedures, power-off - power-on, using different HDI ports/cables, etc. Is there any workaround how to see it?

I noticed my Sonos Move had disappeared off my system when I returned from a holiday. I tried many times to reconnect it to my network but it didn’t work - although it did reach the stage where it asked for a network password at one stage. After a couple of hours trying, the Move powered off and no lights have appeared since. Is there a way to resurrect it?

I have used Sonos for more than 10 years. These controllers have got progressively worse and so I am not buying any more product until there is a significant improvement and these controllers. I particular playing my own music is much more difficult than it was 10 years ago.

Hi everyone, really frustrated with an ongoing problem with my Sonos Ace headphones.Essentially, everytime I play audio from my iPhone (regardless of the app) it he audio immediately pauses and no sound is delivered.I have spoken to Sonos support and they suggested the sensors inside the headphones. I did notice that the inserts were slightly misaligned but at that point the audio was working ok.This morning however, the same problem is occurring and the sensor are not obscured in any way.Can anyone help? Is this a fault?

Hi,  I was outside enjoying the music (first time since April) on my Sonos One when all of a sudden after 5 or 6 tracks had played on YTM system not found on the network came up and the music had stopped.  After checking, all of my speakers had gone missing.  Beam, Arc, Sub, 2 x Ones and a One SL.  I tried searching on the update network and it found my Beam and the One SL.  Then after I put my TV on the other speakers appeared again.  My Arc is wired to my TP Link XE-75 with the others all wireless.

when i am listening to the radio and want to change to another station. The Sonos App appears to go through the motions of changing stations. the Logo of the New stations comes up.. But it is still the old station playing. The only way I have found to change radio stations is to first play some music on Spotify and then you can change to another Radio Station

I am using the Arc, 2 subs with 2 Era 300. Using Apple Music as recommended by Sonos. When playing ATMOS content I get a better special experience compared with my Sonos One’s which is expected.Era 300 is not doing a good job in my opinion when playing stereo content and I figured out that Sonos disables the front firing driver when the Era 300 is setup as rear surround sound. Why? I pay for all speakers and have not even an option to turn the front driver on :-(.  It would be better to give user an option and similar to the heigh volume adding a front volume and control the volume. Any help is appreciated.

Move 2 stops playing when some  louder voices are detected, despite having voice control off. It works well when the room is quiet . It automatically resumes music after 30 40 seconds after the stop. Other speakers continue playing during the same time 

Why do I get multiple entries for compilation albums in my local library and each entry plays the complete compilation album, I appear to have a separate entry in Album view for each artist within a compilation which is sometimes over a hundred entries for the same album. This is both with the windows app (Win 11) and android app. With well over 700 albums and lots of them listed multiple times it makes the selection very UN-user friendly Many thanksLimpet53

I have two homes, one with eight Sonos 2 devices which now, finally, after eighteen months of not having music, actually play something.Now my other 3 bricked Sonos 5 devices in my other home on an S1 network have started skipping and have become as useless as my S2s were.Yes, I have tried reboots, resets, firmware, everything recommended (I have spent thirty years in IP network engineering).I suspect the problem is 2.5/5 network compatibility, but with my current broadband provider I cannot reset this, and even if I did it would break my other networks such as Nest and Ring.This is just another Sonos f*** up that they need to sort out. Being able to play a music track is sort of the whole purpose of these devices isn't it?Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.  

Hallo zusammen, Bei mir lassen sich die Microfone der Beam und Beam 2 nicht mehr aktivieren.Vorher hat alles funktioniert. Hab das ganze System auf Werkseinstellung gesetzt und neu eingerichtet, hat aber nicht geholfen. Wäre für Tipps sehr dankbar. LGMarkus  

My playbar and sub continually lose connection- it has nothing to do with the network - I can manually control the volume but I’m tired of factory resetting

Hello everyone, new to Sonos and having some issues with mt new Sony Bravia 7 and Sonos Beam.I can only intermittently get it to work via the Bravia Sync system. Normally for it to work I have to complete a full power off cycle then reconnect. After a short time it drops out again and nothing at all shows on the Bravia Sync connected devices. This includes my Sky TV, Fire Cube as well as my PS5. I can still switch to them via the output button but my sound very rarely works and when it does I can't control the volume with my Sony remote, only the Sonos App.Sony have offered ZERO help, only stating they can't guarantee the compatibility of Bravia Sync with 3rd party products 😡.Apologies for the length of this but I'm stumped 😥

I have problems with the speech enhancement feature in the Sonos app for my Era 300 and Era 100 systems. In the lastest  version of Sonos app for Android and iOS, appears the speech enhancement feature available for my Era 300 and Era 100 systems so it was a feature I was waiting, due to I use my speakers also as TV sound system but initially the equalization options in the app were so poor and didn't have an option for enhancement of the voice. In this new version of the app I tried to enable this feature that is available for both Era 300 and Era 100 but, several times I enabled, when I return to the app to verify that is enabled, this feature have disabled automatically after some minutes or hours. In the Sonos support chat have told me that this option is only available for Home theater systems and to be available for other systems is an error that will be corrected. I told to the support agent that will be desirable that Sonos don't remove this feature for non Home theater systems

Connected my 2016 player, base and 2 play one speakers to a new Sony Bravia 8 tv. Worked great for 30 minutes then when I adjusted the volume down using the phone app sound became a choppy clucking noise. 

Hello. I can't seem to connect the line-in connected to my Port to play from my speakers in the living room (Allrum). It only seems to play to the Port itself but I want to make it play from the speakers. Ive tried pressing the line-in from "Your Sources" but nothing happens, it only wants to play from the "Port" room. I'm pretty new to this so maybe im missing something obvious but I've tried most possible solutions and tried look through the line-in settings in the app. The user manual doesn't really give any help. Any help would be much appreciated! 

I have just opened the app (android) and all the services I installed like TuneIn, Spotify, Amazon Music are missing. If I try to add them again, I get a "something went wrong" message.I restarted my phone & that has not helped.  Currently, I only have a Play1, a Connect and a bridge active on the system.
