Hello,I wrote to support but no reply....can anyone answer this?1/ I have 2 Sonos Play speakers paired in stereo.2/ I have ordered a new Sonos Beam Ultra. If I set the Sonos Play speakers up as surround speakers and pair them with the Sonos Beam Ultra, they will function as surround speakers as expected... but my question is: if I move them back (to their original location), will they play in stereo again, or will I have to pair them in stereo mode every time? Thanks a lot for the answer...Best regards, P.
My sonos 5 gen 1 cant get setup. I have a 2.4gHz wifi but when i get to the stage that SONOS wifi network is made, it says its not connected even thiugh my iphone says it is. ethernet route also not working (no lights when ethernet connected so set up route fails)
It’s a very strange case of deja-vu as per :Hi again,I need something similar for Sonos Era 100 SL as I have ordered a couple of those from Japan. I expect more paperwork will be required to get them through Taiwanese customs. Can someone as Sonos please assist? (Where is Corry? 😃)
My Sub 4 suddenly went offline. There is no status light. I unplugged it for a minute, reseated the original power cable, and tested it in two known-working wall outlets. It still shows no signs of power. All my other Sonos products are online and working. I also tried the power cord from my Sonos arc ultra thinking maybe it’s a cable issue and still my sub has no power. Has this happened to anyone? I purchased my sub january 2026.
Hi,I have 5 older Sonos speakers (Play:1 and Play:5 models) that still sound great, and I'm hoping to add Bluetooth/airplay playback capability to my setup. My understanding from research so far is that purchasing a single Bluetooth-enabled Sonos device (Roam or Era) would let me stream via Bluetooth to that device, which would then relay audio to all 5 of my existing speakers through the Sonos app/system.A few questions:Is this correct, will one Roam or Era let me Bluetooth-stream to all 5 of my existing speakers, or would I need more than one Bluetooth-enabled unit? Once set up, is grouping the rooms a one-time setup, or do I need to re-group them every time I turn the system on? If I'm hosting people and want guests to play music through the system, what's the process… do they need to group the rooms themselves, and would they need to download the Sonos app to do this? Or can they just stream from SoundCloud or Spotify direct into the system? Anything else I should know or watch out
Can you connect to a Sonos amp headphones from another brand?
I’m having an issue with a Roam 2 I bought a few weeks ago. I bought it to use through Airplay and I have an iOS automation set in the mornings to play the radio through all of my Airplay speakers. The Roam’s living in a bathroom meaning I can’t keep it on a dock or plugged in so I’ve set a daily alarm on the Sonos app at 0% volume just before the automation runs just to wake the speaker up. This worked great the first time I tested it but every time since then the alarm’s chimed at pretty much full volume instead of playing silently as I've got set on the app. Does anyone know how I can fix that or another workaround I can use to get the Roam out of sleep mode so it’s reconnected to airplay by the time my automation runs? Thanks
Hi everyone,I’ve been experiencing a frustrating issue since updating my Sonos app. My speakers appear in the app initially, but after a few minutes they randomly disappear or show as disconnected even though they’re still connected to my Wi-Fi network.I’ve already tried:Restarting the router and all Sonos devices Reinstalling the app Resetting the speakers and setting them up again Ensuring all devices are on the same networkThe problem keeps coming back, especially when trying to group rooms or switch between music services.Has anyone else encountered this issue recently? If so, did you find a reliable fix, or is there a specific setting I should check? Any troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!
Moderator Edit:Google Translate-Hi. I have a projector and need to transmit audio (via HDMI ARC) to a soundbar mounted on the wall opposite it, right below the screen. How can I transmit the audio wirelessly? Why don't you develop a dedicated device for this purpose? There is nothing on the market (I’m not considering Apple TV), so this is a chance for you to make a profit. What is the solution? Should I buy another Beam Gen 2 just for this and use it as a transmitter to send audio to the second Beam Gen 2?
I have a Xgimi Horizon 20pro projector, Sonos playbar, Ugreen wireless extender transmitter & receiver (CM506), Ugreen audio splitter HDMI to optical spdif convertor (CM677). As I don't want to run a long optical cable across the 5 meter floor, how do I set this up to wirelessly connect horizon 20pro to Sonos playbar? My projector doesn't seems to detect any device from HDMI ARC. Able to advise?
how to set up a used Sonos
Hi. Never had issues with connectivity. Didn’t change / replace / reconnected router or iPhone, but after newest firmware update, sonos app shows “not connected”. I can easily update network and add system to my WiFi, but then after couple minutes it shows again. Anyone experiencing this issue after update?
I can hardly believe I'm writing this, but the most recent app update has reintroduced a bug I complained about on here a year ago, and which was subsequently fixed.https://en.community.sonos.com/controllers-and-music-services-229131/mute-individual-products-6902079I have all my speakers grouped together and mute/unmute them as I move around the house, because it's easier than grouping/ungrouping them. I don't want them all on all the time, as it disturbs my neighbours.Following the most recent app update, my speakers now all unmute themselves every time I change the group volume (even if I'm turning it down!)Why? How could anybody think this is a good idea? When will this unwanted functionality be removed (again)? More generally I am so sick of Sonos needlessly dicking about with things which work fine as they are. God knows if they want to change the app there is a long list of things which don't work properly - it's a dog's dinner. It's clear to me that Sonos have learned nothing f
I play Apple Music from Sonos but now I find I can’t LIKE songs from Sonos , any help? Thanks~
The sound on my Arc Ultra persistently drops out when I change channel (eg from Apple TV back to a TV channel. Also changing between something playing in Dolby Digital Plus back to non-DDP).I've tried all the suggested fixes that I can find both here and YouTube but it's still doing it. Does anybody have the magic fix? Arc Ultra/Sony 65xf8505 (ARC connection)/Virgin Media 360
Will the new Sonos Ace Ultra headphone be just another room in the S2 app? Or does it require one of the compatible Sonos products?
I am experiencing an audio routing issue with my Sonos surround setup that only started happening recently after a recent software update. Up until recently, this setup worked perfectly. My Setup:Soundbar: Sonos Beam (Gen 2) connected via HDMI eARC. Surrounds: Stereo pair of Sonos Era 100s. TV: Sony W800F. Source: Apple TV 4K connected to the Sony TV via HDMI.Whenever I switch on my TV, I need to manually go into the apple audio output option, select Sonos setup, and everything works great—audio plays perfectly through the Beam and both Era 100 surrounds. However, the moment I press any button with the Apple TV remote (changing apps, volume controls, or pausing a video), the audio output automatically changes away from the Sonos system back to "Native/TV Speakers". Because the TV assumes the Beam is the native speaker, I still get front audio, but the Era 100 surround channels completely cut out, and I completely lose the ability to control the volume using my Apple TV remote. To get surr
I am going in circles here, moving settings around on TV and Roku and still cannot get PCM off. I have a TCLQLED model number 55Q681G and I have the arch with the Sonos Beam 2 plug plugged into it and a Roku that I run on my video through plugged in the HDMI three I see all the settings that I read about, but I just can’t get Dolby to pipe through and show on my app. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance
What can be wrong with my speakers and pairing? They will not pair with my TV. I’ve been able to pair with my phone but not my TV. It was working fine then we had problems with the TV and Xfinity reset the TV. I have gone through the process of re-pairing with the WiFi, turning off each speaker and resetting. Nothing seems to be working. What am I doing wrong?
The subwoofer will not play sound. What do I do?
Hi, Frustrated or What?I have just changed my wifi name, this involved a full factory reset of every Sonos product and the creation of a new ‘Sonos’ System using the app on my phone, after a few little issue, every Sonos speaker transferred over from the old system and joined the new. Every speaker has had it/s wifi changed successfully. However, despite a full reinstall of MacOS and Sonos app on the Mac ( as you see, I’ve tried a lot!) I still cannot get the Sonos App for MacOS to join the party. When I open the App, it tries to find, what is now, an ‘existing system’, and tells me that my firewall settings have changed.Every single setting of my firewalls are correct, permissions for the app to find devices on the network - correct. Permission to control my computer using Accessibility features - correct. My full system is fully recognized by my app on my iPhone!I am a retired IT professional so I pity poor souls with no IT skills!!I am now on day three of trying to find a solution - a
Sonos Move does not power on after battery replacement. Swapped batteries and charging base with known working Move, but no change. When placing Move on charging base, the 4 small indicator lights at front bottom of Move go solid red for about 10 seconds, then go off. Nothing after that - will not power on with either battery.
I have two Sonos Play Portable speakers each with their own Sonos charging ring and 45w power brick. Both charging rings work but one Play has just stopped and won’t charge. Dead kaput. It’s been out of the box not even two weeks and fully updated. Any thoughts from the community?

I have an Amp connect and an Audioflow switch connected to 4 ceiling speakers. I wish to install a multi amp now and remove the Audioflow switch. I have provisions to connect 4 more passive speakers. Why can’t I purchase the multi amp direct rather then going through an installer.
