Can you connect to a Sonos amp headphones from another brand?

You could consider connecting a Bluetooth transmitter to the analog line-out or digital coaxial output of a Sonos Port. This should allow you to listen to Sonos audio on almost any Bluetooth headphones.

The short answer is…no. Even Sonos branded headphones do not connect to the Sonos Amp.

@beynym work-around may work. However the assumption is you’re only using the Amp as streamer to wired speakers. Also, that you want to use headphones for private listening.

Using a Bluetooth transmitter may or may not mute the audio to the speakers as would be the case with a traditional AV amp/receiver that has a dedicated headphone jack. 🤔

Gen 1 Play 5 has a 3.5 mm audio out. Old, S1 only but cheap. Get one that has the 30% upgrade discount available.
