I've had my Sonos Move for about a year and a half now and about a week ago it suddenly stopped responding completely.I've tried to hold in the power button for thirty seconds on and off of the charge ring, the Move does absolutely nothing, no LEDs light up even briefly. I've tried the same with the Bluetooth button and connect button, same result.I've removed it from charge for 4 days to drain the battery, still nothing.I've charged it over night using the charge ring, still nothing.I've charged it over night using a USB-C connection, still nothing.I've removed the battery and reinserted it as some threads have suggested, still nothing.I've tried to take readings with a multimeter on the battery and charge ring but can't seem to get any readings. (I'm not sure I'm testing them correctly. If anyone has any advise on how to test either I would appreciate it.)I don’t know what else to do.We stay in South Africa, about 180kms from Port Elizabeth and to my knowledge there isn’t a Sonos out
usually reliable sound and playback on my play:3 speaker until recently. now its a daily event and multiple times making the system unusable in the main.nothing has changed in terms of location of the speaker or router; have done a router reboot, power off/on of play3 as per previous comments on similar issues. what is the underlying issue here, what has changed & what is the resolution to return to the good user experience previous? have submitted diagnostics : 706080232 Moderator edit: changed “raised support case” to “submitted diagnostics”
We have a Sonos amp that is primarily used for audio from a laptop, but occasionly from a CD player.I’m looking for a switch that will work well with the amp so I don’t have to plug/unplug. I want the amp to automatically play from either source.I tried my old Netmate switch - but Amp wouldn’t pick up the signal from one channel of that switch (the CD player). I tested the CD direct to Amp and that worked so it isn’t the cable.I’m assuming the problem is with the switch, and that I’ll need a new one.Can any recommend a switch that will work well with the Amp?
HelloI want to start this thread in hopes that others may add to it.Quite often topics are posted in the community regarding Sonos products not showing in the Sonos app. Sometimes, you may see a question mark (?) indicating that one (or more) of the components in a home theater setup is missing such as:Living Room (LS+?+Sub) Arc In the above example the Right Surround (RS) is missing. Typically, the issue involves a network issue. In addition to other recommended trouble shooting steps setting a Static/Reserve IP Address for each Sonos product is highly recommended.Truth be told that’s easily said and done if you know how. I’m a visual person. If you have never set a Static/Reserve IP Address you may be wondering how to access the right area in your routers Admin page and of course then perform the operation. This initial post will focus on Asus Routers. However, the general procedure is generic to most routers with a few exceptions (*). The first step is to access your routers web ba
Hello! I recently bought an Arc soundbar and i want to get Atmos from my PS5, but I can't. I can get atmos through Fire Tv Stick 4k, but not ps5... I was wondering if this splitter would do the trick. (I can't afford a HD Fury, I'd rather buy a TV) https://a.aliexpress.com/_mKIeoaE
I am a long-time Sonos user and have quite a bit of content saved in My Sonos. Must of the content is composed of links to songs and albums in Deezer, my primary music service. Several days ago, while attempting to browse Deezer, Sonos informed me that the service was no longer active and that I would need to re-connect to the service. So I proceeded to delete the Deezer service and re-add it, which completed successfully. However, when the service was deleted, all of the links in My Sonos became instantly invalid (i.e. they are now greyed out). Re-adding the service did not re-activate the links and I am now faced with having to re-create the entire contents of My Sonos.I don’t recall ever receiving a warning that My Sonos links could be wiped out like this. And there has never been a way to back up the My Sonos content to avoid an unfortunate event like this one. I have always been a happy Sonos user, but not so much any more.

Mr. Spence,I tried Sonos for the first time and was excited to do so. My colleagues have told me about the Sonos brand for years and on their urging I purchased three Sonos Move (2) directly from Sonos. My order arrived and all three Sonos Move (2) had issues with not being packaged correctly and damage on all the units. I waited over an hour on hold and spoke to a Sonos customer service representative who assured me the issues will be investigated and I will receive an email. I had to call another four times and chat twice to receive a return label to return the three damaged units. When I tried using the return label for each unit, only one return label was valid and I paid for a box and sent all three units back with the one label. It has been over a month since the units were received and I still do not have my refund. The offshore customer service cannot transfer to a supervisor, does not understand issues and is a nightmare to speak with. I cannot believe my experience has been so
Just about had it with Sonos to be quite frank, issue after issue after issue.. the new one is that my Move (which has worked perfectly with other speakers) has decided now that it no longer likes working with the other speakers on my network. It’ll show as if it’s playing on the app but nothing is happening. If I start playing music on one speaker and then add it to the group the track will stop, then start again on the move but no longer on the original speaker. Likewise if I start on the move and group another speaker it’ll stop playing altogether and start again on the new speaker. I’ve rebooted the speaker I’ve reset my router I’ve unplugged the Ethernet from one of my speakers so that they’re all connecting via WiFi It’s not a distance issue as the router and move are fairly close.. any suggestions.. as I say, pretty fed up with this now. I just want the system to work as it should.
Well, this one is annoying. I have a Yoga Studio and have 6 Play 3’s mounted on the walls, when you switch tracks or playlists or even when they songs run themselves and switch to the next track at least half of the speakers drop out, but within 30 seconds they all reconnect. Internet speed is 300MB+ and I did try turning off the modem and router (just those 2) and for a short time afterwards the audio was switching perfectly no dropouts at all. Then today we are back to speakers dropping out again. In conclusion, the audio will drop from certain speakers and return within 30 seconds without intervention, the system consists of 6 Play 3’s, 2 SYMFONISK’s, a Connect, and a Boost. If anyone has a solution or idea please share, one of my teachers ditched this epic Sonos system to use a JBL BT speaker for a class “because it works”, so please any help here is huge Best!
If you still have trouble using Sonos with a projector, I strongly recommend Orei HDA-934 (https://www.orei.com/collections/new-arrival/products/4k-hdmi-audio-extractor-switch-with-earc-and-edid-management-hda-934). It is only $100. I have Sonos Arc, AMP, and they work perfectly. It supports Dolby Atmos and I have tested on my Apple TV, Xbox, and PS5. More importantly, it supports multiple HDMI inputs. Strongly recommend!

I have purchased a Sonos FIVE, and the mid-tone sounds are poor, the mid-range sound sounds like canned, off, any recommendations? The bass and treble are very good, but the sound is not hifi by any means, it is very far from it
I have Sonos in other parts of the house. Bought a Sonos beam and mini sub for another room. Was working fine for about a month and all of a sudden it now only plays background sounds coming from Netflix and no voices. I use Apple TV gen 4 with Netflix, loaded as an app. Paramount, prime, Apple TV, and other apps have no issue issue. Nothing has changed with my TV or the set up. Voices just stopped coming over the Sonos Beam when playing Netflix. Interesting note my TV is connected to the Internet and has an app for Netflix. Voices work just fine on that. So you would think this may be a Netflix app problem on Apple TV. However, Netflix has no settings to direct sound. So not sure where else to turn.
Sonos has a lot of home theater setup guidance and with an Arc + Sub (3rd) + rear speakers; they state whether the system is 7.1 or 5.1: For 7.1 you need an Eras pair, and for 5.1 you need the Ones. Where do the In-Wall Sonance speakers (with TruePlay) fall? Would they fall in to the 5.1 category like the Ones?I’m debating the In-Wall. I have existing in-wall (2015 episode speakers with very comparable system specs as the Sonance) however the cut out is 12”x8” vs. the Sonos required 10.75”x6.93”, so I think the hole is too big and would cost (dry-wall) a bit to remedy. But I think I’d only be missing the TruePlay option. If you have a similar setup, I’d like your opinion on how well it works. What I don’t want to do is buy a pair of speakers and then have unused in-wall speakers.p.s. I did search many prior questions and did not see my specific question but several similar ones.
S2 PC/Desktop cotroller doesn’t show the music qality like Ultra/HD or Dolby Atmos tag on Now Playing artwork. It has very limited info like the Song/Album artwork, song, artist and album info. It would be nice to know if the song is in DolbyAtmos or standard/HD format on the Desktop app itself. It shows all the info on the mobile app just fine. So wanted to find out if I am missing someting or this is something in the works for upcoming S2 PC app release roadmap?Missing HD/Dolby Atmos tag on Now Playing - S2 Desktop appCurrent system configSONOS Controller for PCVer: 16.1Sonos OS: S2Build: 78151030Thanks.
I have one Sonos device: a Sonos One SL.I run the Sonos app on a Windows 10 PC.I keep my Sonos app and firmware up to date. (It is currently on version 16.1)I bought and use my Sonos device to play songs from my Spotify playlists.(The only thing I have in my Sonos Favorites is "Playlists From Spotify".) Before today, my playlists showed up in the sequence I have them organizedon Spotify, so it was easy to find and select which playlists I want to play from. They are now showing up in random sequence. I have around 220 categorized Spotify playlists, and I generally select a differentsubset to listen to in shuffle mode every day. Having that many playlists in randomsequence makes it extremely difficult to find the playlists I want to listen to,and it makes something I use constantly every day almost totally useless. I don't know if this is your problem or Spotify's but I need to get some sort ofresolution.
Hi.I have my music located on a NAS, and I want to be able to play music from this NAS.I get a messy answer, that my device is not turned on, or the path is wrong. Hmmm !The NAS is turned ON, it’s awake, and the path is Correct. So for testing I tried to copy just a few music numbers to my Music Library, and everything works out just fine. I add a few more, and everything is fine, - until I hit the 500 MB of my Music Library, and I get the messy message again - that my device is not turned on, or the path is wrong.I have installed Sonos 2 with 2 ERA 100 and 1 Five. What’s wrong?Best regardsFlemming Sigvardt, Denmark
How do I connect to someone else’s Sonos system
I have the Sonos Sound bar (v2) and an LG tv with a optical out. I bought the Sonos HDMI to digital cable converter but I am not getting anything. The LG is set for optical out. What am I doing wrong?
Hello Community!I’ve lately just noticed Arc is calling spectrum.s3.amazonaws.com every 5 minutes 24/7. Since then I’ve just blocked this host on my AdGuard dns and to my surprise Alexa is working just fine. I have a few other Echo devices and none of them is calling this host. WTH Sonos?
Well the day I’ve waited years for finally came today - Sonos Voice finally works with Spotify and I can use my voice to get the same multi-room music experience as I can in the Sonos app.Unfortunately, my dream of playing different music from our Spotify family account in different rooms is still unrealized.Even though Sonos Voice now works with Spotify, it appears to play directly from the Spotify app rather than through the Sonos app, making it impossible to play different music in different rooms via Sonos Voice. In short, we still need to go through the app to play different music in different rooms. 😭Could this feature be added at some point in the future?I dream of the day my young kids don’t have to fight over who gets to play from Spotify.
Hi, I have the arc,gen3 sub I'm thinking of getting the era 100's for surround sound. My room is oblong 17ft by 8ft my settee is up against the wall)17ft so my seating is 6ft away from sound bar and TV, the eras will be roughly a foot behind me, will I still achieve suround sound or am I too close to sound bar, in other words will the sound bar drown out the rears?
I have 4 rooms where I want individual alarms … but the alarms overlap each other in the timespan needed. Not possible or…? Does alarm 1 have to end before alarm 2 can start - and so on?
