Controllers and Music services

All my content services have been removed (same on multiple Android phones and tables). The system will now not let me add any content services. I’ve rebooted, as well as signed out, tried Sonos Chat support, without success. I can see and add services from the Windows app which works perfectly in all respects. But the same Content Services don’t appear on the App. I don’t even see Sonos Radio.I do still have access to my Music Library though, and all my Devices. When I play one of the Content Services through the windows app then it displays fine in the Android App.My Homescreen: But from windows app:  When I try add any content service:  

How do I play Spotify in Sonos ?

Why can I not access / play or add my own audio files in the music library settings  ? error code 913 

What happened you guys? My repeat button is gone. I am trying to play from ‘music library.’ I am on iOS build 80.09.09 which was released in the last few days with the only notes being ‘fixed bugs.’

The app on the iphone and ipad do not show the same information. I’ll have a few speakers playing music from the iphone app, but when i go to the ipad app, it shows the same speakers but with nothing playing. Both apps are updated as of today.

Connection between app and speakers is slow or doesn’t work at all. Using app 2.0

I installed my Sonos system 2 days ago and I add the Plex service. Plex remote access is working properly. I could play my Plex flac files whithin Sonos app immediatelly. Yesterday I ripped some new CDs and I added them to Plex. I could play the flac files from Plexamp to Sonos devices but from the Sonos app I can see all the files but when I add them to the queue I receive the messase "I can't play - song name - Plex connection server lost. The flac files added originally could still play within Sonos app. I tried many things that I read online... suddenly after activate/disactivate the Plex remote connection, the new files where available also in the Sonos app. Today I added new files to Plex and again I can't play them within Sonos app but only from Plexamp to Sonos... I read everything about this subject, the situation is very weird, does anybody have an idea? To me looks like a Sonos bug.

Hi, I have a S1 system, with several music services added to it.I got a new S2 player and added it to the same account.How do I copy over services (user/pass) which were cofigured on S1 over onto S2? I kinda expected this to get automagically populated...

I recently deleted and re installed my music library in the hope that album artwork would return (it hasn’t, I assume this has not been corrected in the new app yet). The music is stored on NAS and the folder was added successfully.However when I look in album view there are now multiple instances of some titles, some which appear to have no tracks attached. When you look in artist or search by album title or artist the tracks are there although some have missing tracks or tracks out of order or in some instances the wrong track plays!I tried a clean install, deleting the app, reseting both sonos ones and reinstalling the library, same results on the same album titles!I have a raspberry pi based music player running moode and it indexes the library with no issues!Any tips would be appreciated.

My husband and I have been happy Sonos users since the early days of ZoneBridges and ZonePlayers.  But suddenly, two days ago, our playback from Amazon Music Unlimited has become unusable.  Songs are starting and then stopping and skipped.  It eventually starts the next song in the queue or station, but the issue continues.  A quick Google shows that this is an issue for many.I have checked all my connections (wired to my One and Amp) and everything is normal.  My internet is stable and fast.  I rebooted every device.  I deauthorized and reauthorize Amazon Music in the Sonos app, but no improvement.As a test, I signed up for a trial of Spotify and it works flawlessly as does a streaming radio station we also listen to.  And Amazon Music plays just fine if we stream from our phones to a separate Bluetooth speaker.  This issue seems to be Amazon specific using Sonos.Has anyone determined what is going on and what a solution is?  I hate to have to tell Jeff Bezos that he will soon be losi

Sonos app ask me to check for update - but update stops every time with the message “Sonos update failed. An unexpected failure appeared” (or something like this..)I have deleted/uninstalled the app on Macbook several times, and downloaded new 16.5 version on www.sonos.com.Same problem each time…Anyone have a solution?Terry :-)Norway

I have a Sonos Connect box with S2 apps, on Windows, Android and iOS.  Music library is on a QNAP NAS, but cannot be added anymore.  Library has always worked fine, but with upgrade to S2 we had to remove the connection, now it cannot be added again.  No matter what we try, and believe me, I have tried everything I could find on the Internet, it keeps on giving me an error 1002.  Firewalls are OK (Norton Antivirus at Windows), systems are set to SMBV2-3, shared folder permissions are OK for all involved users ...Is this just another issue that belongs to the “S2” disaster upgrade, and if so, when could we expect a solution for this ?Any idea, tip, hint, things to consider would be greatly appreciated …PS: shared folders on my Windows computer can be added, but the big library is at our NAS ...

Does anyone know how to set an alarm to play a track on loop from the local library? I have a track of rain sounds that I’d like to play at the same time each night, I can accomplish this manually but am trying to automate this and I am losing my mind here. The alarms are buried in a secret location in the app, and even after finding them, there is no way to select a track from the local library. The search function when set to local library finds nothing. I also still receive phone notifications for deleted alarms, what in the world?

Op het Sonos systeem van mijn vriend kon ik altijd instellingen beheren zoals alarm instellen. Sinds kort hebben we op mijn werk ook Sonos en nu kan ik op geen van beide nog instellingen beheren. I have three Sonos speakers and I’m trying to access settings in the app, but the app keeps saying to sign in as the system owner. I am going to assume that at some point I added these speakers using a different email address than what I am using right now. But, I only have two email addresses and I tried using the other email address, but couldn’t sign in. I thought maybe I had forgotten the password, so I requested a password reset link to be sent to that email address, but when I do it, the Sonos website acts like it sent the email, but I never receive anything in my inbox. I have checked spam folders also.How do I fix this issue?

Sonos audio quality is amazing but useless as it never works as it should. Literal garbage. Save your money. Buy something else

My playlists are multiplying meaning, 150 songs repeats into 32000 songs. It is messing with play and queue.ibuae YouTube music and playlists are fine there.How is this fixed?

Good afternoon,I have a Sonos s1/s2 system that’s playing up. I’m getting various messages on the app such as ‘unable to connect’ or ‘There was a problem checking for updates’. The system will work from time to time with a bit of fiddling about. WiFi in the house is ok with no drop out points, and is ok when I have the issues. I can press play on the app, it will show music playing, yet there is none. Then after a few tries, it will work. Then I’m unable to turn the music off. I can sometimes link speakers together, and other times I get the ‘unable to connect’ banner. I have tried deleting and reloading the app, rebooting devices, rebooting my wifi (Sky fibre broadband), updating individual speakers, resetting speakers. As I type, I have music playing from a radio station, but am unable to turn it off. I get the message ‘Couldn’t stop content, try again.’ I have tried to update the system, but get ‘There was a problem checking for updates’ message. The system is an Arc linked to a s1

Again….After not being able to access any music library stored on my Macs I gave an QNAP NAS a try in order to nail the major “library indexing” thing of Sonos a bit better. To make it short: No success. The Sonos S2 app on Desktop or mobile device is still not able to get the private local music library. A very long phone call to Sonos support did not solve the problems at all, in fact I had the impression that the supporting guy did not know very much about Mac OS, Unix, file sharing within Mac OS and else but I might be wrong here.The basics:For many years my music and video library resided on external USB volumes connected to an Intel Mac mini running Mac OS Mojave and iTunes. Hi. I control my tv and music throughout the house via my phone app. Can I simply share the set up I have with others in the house so they can have full connectivity when I am not there? 

Good morning, the new app doesn’t work on my device, a realme X2 Pro (Snapdragon 855 Plus + 12GB RAM + 256GB). The new app is not working. It simply won't start. Here are some pictures:The app shows a logo... It stays on the logo screen for minutes and minutes, then it just goes to a black screen. As you can see, it keeps trying to start, but it never does. Black ScreenI've tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, etc., but always the same result. It won't start.What can I do? I'm left without Sonos (I have two Sonos Play 1 and a Sonos Play 5 (Gen 2)).Thank you.
