Controllers and Music services

In Sonos I regularly search for an artist to look at their top songs. In Google play this was easy. Now this has been replaced by YouTube Music Top Songs is no longer an option in Sonos. It is an option in the YouTube music app so this is only a problem thru the Sonos app. Can this be added to the Sonos app?

Hi, I’ve been experiencing a number of issues with my Sonos system recently, namely, speakers disappearing from the app mid song, including paired speakers; then today my entire music library has inexplicably vanished from Sonos.  I’ve made sure that all apps are updated and running the same software and ensured that my Mac is up to date and nothing……To be honest, I'm getting rather sick and tired of all the issues with Sonos, I just want to be able to play music, but seemingly every time I try there is yet another issue.Any advice gratefully received.  

I just enrolled in the Sonos Radio HD free trial last night, but nothing seems to have changed on my app.  When I go to Sonos Radio in the “browse” section, I still get a box asking me if I want to learn more about Sonos Radio HD.  Should I be seeing a separate entry on the app for the HD version, or is it just integrated into the Sonos Radio button that is already there?  

Sonos application is not showing full content of my YouTube Premium Library.It seems that YouTube Music - Library - Songs is showing “YourLikes” playlist with 30 songs instead of All songs in my library. From YouTube music website I can see all the songs.Search songs and playing playlist is working well.Please help to fix browsing all songs in YouTube Music. Diagnostic report: 1481104946Troubleshooting performed:Removed/Added YouTube service into sonos Restarted Sonos device and router Contacted Sonos Customer Care, which was unable to resolve this, case 02293203 

Napster on Sonos has gone crazy with it’s charts list. When I ask it for top songs, albums, artists, etc. it gives me a bunch of music that I have never heard of. I thought it was just me losing touch but when I go direct into the Napster app then everything as it used to be - Ed Sheeran, Lady GaGa etc. Any ideas?

Hi- i’m unable to access sonos radio - the app says my account needs reauthorizing but when I try and do that it says unable to reauthorize. App and speakers are up to date any pointers?

I have been listening to the same two radio stations on my Sonos for many years and all of a sudden they stopped working. They were tunein  French station in “ my stations” when I press play nothing happens… what am I to do, without them Sonos is useless to me

When adding a folder, i’m getting this “DESKTOP-FQEOD3M” error.   

I want to set my alarm to tune into "Fréquence 3 Gold" from Paris France but can not find it when browsing in Alarm setting. Too many stations. I know it's there because I searched and found it and can play it so I know it works but the alarm manual search requires you to know the exact location of the station. 

I decided to do a clean install of Big Sur on my iMac.  In doing the install I erased both the system volume and the data volume.  After the clean install, I installed the the Sonos S2 app.  I have FLAC music stored on my iMac in the Documents folder.  I know what has to be done to have Sonos recognize the path to my music.In System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy I put the Sonos app in Accessibility and in Full Disk Access.  However, the SonosLibraryServer does not appear when I try to find it to add it to Full Disk Access.  What’s strange is that a search on my computer doesn’t find it either.  Can someone tell me how to add it to Full Disk Access?All of my FLAC music files are in a folder called FLAC Music. I know that I have to grant Sonos Read & Write permissions.  However, Sonos is not appearing under Permissions.  Can someone tell me how to have it appear?  Thanks.

I recently got a new Mac and it’s running Catalina OS (10.15.6). I migrated all of my files over to the new mac and, at first, I was able to add my music library to Sonos but then all of a sudden my music stopped and the library had disappeared. I tried to add the library again and I chose the “My Music folder” icon under “Music Library Settings” and I got the error “Sonos was unable to add the music folder. The computer “blah-blah” cannot be found.” So then I went back and picked the “another folder connected to my computer” icon and I chose the main music folder in User. Sonos will act like it’s working and will even say that my music is being added and it will show that it is indexing the library but then it just goes away….disappears….poof. So then I go back and try to add that folder again and it will say it can’t be found. omg….sooooo frustrating. Please please please help. I have a hunch it’s this new OS -- it no longer supports 32-bit applications. If that is the case please le

Started today - my Beam has 4 or 5 times today played at random times, music from my NAS library, un-asked for and no activity being done at the time to cause this. Only thing that’s changed today is that I’ve installed a pair of HomePod minis.  WiFi not hacked, no Spotify account, but then the music is not from Spotify, but from my NAS. Submitted diagnostics - 169376155 Hope to get to the bottom of this before sacking off the Beam.

When I try to access Apple Music items from my Sonos, I just get ‘No selections are available’.  In IPad Settings, my membership is definitely active.   In Sonos Settings, my Apple account is shown - when I click on it and try to Reauthorize Account, it shows my correct Apple ID, and when I press Continue, it says Setup Complete, but it isn’t!  Any help, please?  When I add a new Sonos Apple account name, that goes through ok, but I can’t access recordings already in my list with my original Sonos Apple Account name. Stuart

It there a way to select audible.es because when I try to do sonos open also amazon.com and I can´t change the country and my audible account is in Spain...

I can’t find Pandora in the list of music services to add, when I attempt to cast to my Move from the Pandora app, the Sonos 2 app loads and fails.What to do, anyone else have this issue? How did you fix it? 

I am on MacOS Catalina, and successfully changed my disk access settings per another thread, so that the below have full disk access:SonosLibraryServerSonosI indexed successfully a few times after that after adding a few albums, but today going to update the library again after only adding 1 or two albums, the Sonos desktop app hangs forever, spinning wheel, and then I have to force quit it. I let it try for over an hour this time.I have a large library: 43766 items, 688.58GB, but the support page says: "Depending on the size of your library, the music index may take several minutes to update."Have I exceeded the size that puts me into the “several minutes” category and bumps me to the “several hours” or “several hours and then will crash” territory? :)Again, I have updated the library recently a few times and this does not happen. (granted it takes way longer than “several minutes.”)Not sure if a diagnostic code reveals anything library related, but here it is anyway: 269838512.  

Hi.Yesterday I’ve updated all my sonos speakers and app because of a problem with my home theatre (playbase not connecting to wi-fi).  I’ve opened a topic on the issue but is still not solved.https://en.community.sonos.com/troubleshooting-228999/playbase-wifi-not-working-6850842However, today I’ve realised my other play:1 speakers (not the home theatre), are not communicating with spotify. I’ve tried playing other services directly from  the sonos app such as radio and seems to be working as expected.To fix the issue i’ve tried:power cycle router power cycle speakers Reauthorise spotify account Remove account, close apps, and then re-add plug an ethernet cable directly into routerNothing works and i don’t know what else to do… All my sonos speakers are having issues right now…Any suggestions..?809507123  

Each time I open the Sonos App the music services I have added previously are no longer listed and I have to manually re add them again. Once I add one back in then the rest of my list reappears.. Am I doing something wrong ? 

Hi all,I have a Symfonisk and I have a problem:I can’t play music via Sonos app and from Spotify. Sometimes I got error 1002, but sometimes I got no error message. But Airplay working and I can switch the status LED via Sonos app. If I start the playing with Airplay then I can change the music with Android phone (Spotify) but the music lagging. Any idea?Robert

I can’t get Mixcloud to ply through Sonos. Says unable to contact Mixcloud. Deleted and reinstalled both apps. Removed and reinstalled Mixcloud to Sonos. Reauthorised Mixcloud on Sonos. Nothing works. i can play Mixcloud on my phone. I can play other services through Sonos. I can’t play Mixcloud through Sonos. Really annoying. Please help. 

Hello, I have a WD My Cloud Home network drive which I had hoped to use with my Sonos setup.  I’m using the S2 app and have linked to the WD drive using the My Cloud Home music service.  The mp3/mpeg4 files are appearing in the app and playing without issue, but none of the WMA files are appearing (128 kbps bit rate).  Is there a solution to this, other than changing all the WMA files to another format?

Hi all, I’m getting an error message on Spotify for my three Sonia speakers which says ‘can’t play this right now’. I can still access Spotify from the Sonos app ok but not from Spotify itself. Can anyone suggest what to do. Thanks, Stephen 

My Apple Music recently added items have stopped appearing in Sonos. I’ve tried deleting and re-adding the Apple Music connection, resetting each account, logging out and logging back into each, deleting and reinstalling each app, giving things hours to update etc. but with no success whatsoever. Any thoughts or suggestions, please? I recently switched to the Apple One package which integrates my Apple Music account with several other services but I can’t see why this would have caused the problem. Apple Music is working and updating itself fine independently of Sonos, by the way.
