 How much longer must we suffer?! This app is garbage!The old app actually let you control volume with the one buttons! Amazing! The old app let you see what was playing on the screen! Amazing!The new app barely functions! Unacceptable! The volume is glitchy, the interface has too many layers, the app is not intuitive, and on and on!It’s been months and nothing has been resolved! Terrible company!

Hello!As I’ve seen more and more apps adopt Live Activities, I have begun noticing their absence for the Sonos app on iOS.  There are a few simple use cases that I think would be better achieved through a Live Activity vs having to do a heavy load of the app as is required today: Quick playback controls: play/pause/next/previous of current playing content Volume controls for the currently playing group Playing track information, including playback progress and album art. To keep things simple, I would suggest the Live Activity would only provide the above for the last selected and active (playing) speaker group from within the app. This avoids over designing the live activity to have to have a group picker which I think start to over complicate the experience.  This would make it incredibly simple to perform some of the most basic and essential functions of my Sonos experience from my device’s Lock Screen and even on my Apple Watch.  Thanks for the consideration!

I have 20 some Sonos devices, spread out over 3 locations. When is Sonos going to offer a full rollback to S1 ? S1 is absolutely bulletproof.  The Sonos company and their CEO need to stop all production and focus their energy completely on rebuilding this app and offering a rollback. 

I am sure all our issues has been discussed before but a search for anything around ‘volume’, ‘controls’, ‘slider’ or ‘app’ comes back with 100’s of results.Our Sonos products:- 3 Play one- 1 Sub- Newest/Latest Sonos app (iOS) S2- Sonos multi room/group (2 rooms/groups with same music but different volumes)- Spotify Premium Family account - Superior glassfiber internet (1.000 Mb up/down)- Stable WiFi 6 router and access points (Fritzbox). Many smart devices, all working correctly.We tried a Sonos cable connection and WiFi connection. The Sonos cable connection is even worse. - Good WiFi reception on all Sonos speakers- Apple iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro to operate the Sonos app. We have been using Sonos for 8 years now. At the first 7 years we were very enthusiastic about it. The last 12 months we hardly ever use Sonos anymore. The app updates we had to suffer are absolutely horrible!!!! Downgrading is impossible… 😔Most of the time we listen to music via Sonos for 15 minutes or so and

I have purchased a Sonos five and got the app. On occasion others in my home want to share their music. How can that happen?

I want to stream Apple Music to my Sonos speakers with a direct connection rather than airplay in order to get the optimal sound resolution.Currently I have an Apple TV 4K connected to my arc for video streaming and have found that when select the Apple TV 4K to output audio the sound is noticeably better than airplay. Is there a device or way to actually verify what if 16 or 24k or 44.1 or 48 is actually being broadcast. Has anyone had success connecting a Wiim (pro or Ultra) , Eversolo bluenode or Cambridge cvn v2 using the Sonos line adapter to era 100 or 300 and been able to add multiple room grouping to your other Sonos speakers ?  

I have imported a bunch of files in to Appel Music. I can play these fine on my Mac, my iPhone etc…When I add Apple Music to the Sonos app I see the Albums I imported, but I cannot play them. I get an “unable to add to queue” error. What might be the problem here?

I realise everyone hates the app and the Sonos team are obviously having a total nightmare managing the situation, and I’ve tried to resist piling on, and have bought multiple 3rd party apps and tried workarounds, but I’ve really just had enough of trying to use this system and really want to chuck it all in the bin.  The UX on this app is just so appalling in every way. It’s SO slow and laggy. Sometimes you can make it start okay, others you can’t. You want a tune. You want the 6 o clock news at 6. But it just does nothing. You wait. 30 seconds… and then. . . You just give up and use your phone speaker! Sometimes the volume works, other times it doesn’t. It’s so unintuitive as to which room is active. Why can’t I see the actual radio stations I want in a list on the home page? Why is there no hierarchy among the favourites? Why do none of the playlists work? Why do you prioritise the junk Sonos streams as if they’re real stations? Why can’t I manually control the viewing order of stat

On the Mac Sonos Controller, in the right most column (Music Source), say if you’re already looking at tracks inside an album and you want scroll to see more songs below (2-finger up motion on the trackpad, which is Mac’s default “Natural Scrolling” setting), if your fingers drifts to the right side while moving upwards, the app immediately takes you back one level up - back to the album level, as if you’ve pressed the < button. The same is true whatever you’re scrolling through, e.g. it would go from album back to artist, playlist back to streaming service, etc. Typically if an area can only scroll up or down, any left or right 2-finger motion is ignored (this is true for both Mac and Windows), this makes for very swift scrolling a flick action. This bug makes scrolling through anything much more laborious as you now have to be careful with the scrolling motion all the time! Could the dev team please take a look at the issue? When listing épisodes of à podcast, all dates are shown as 20 january 1000000. Dates are correctly mentionnée fornepisodes scrolled from the pocketcast application.  Another thing that should get corrected, that used to work but no longer ...

I do  not know how long ago I bought my first Sonos. But it is a long time ago. More then 15 yeas ago I think. In the beginning it was great. But slowly it became less and less stabile during the years.My wifi and cabled internet is stabile. Always +500 mbs. All systems in house are working properly. Internet on computers, alarm, solar panels etc.So I do not understand why I have Sonos drop outs frequently. Boxes and music. And sometime the Sonos boxes work and then after +/- 10 sec numbers are stopped. Not talking about the speed of the app. It is terribly.I tried to contact support by phone many times. Always ques that are longer then 60 minutes. So waiting was no option.What are my alternatives? Anyone good ideas?

That’s IT Sonos. Your lousy app sucks. Your company sucks. I had a party for my wife’s birthday WITHOUT MUSIC because your app would not work. Your company is worthless and a joke. I have thousands of dollars of your equipment  and they are all BRICKS. I hope you go out of business. I will make it my goal to badmouth you on every blog I can. I will also make sure everyone I know never buys your stuff. In fact I made an announcement at the party to explain why we had no music. I told the horror story that is Sonos and told everyone to NEVER BUY YOUR STUFF.  SONOS COMMUNITY WE NEED A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. ANY LAWYERS OUR THERE? I’M IN!!!!!

So they closed this one. If its too inconvenient just stop the comments. Said it before and it's still true.SONOS = CONTEMPT FOR CUSTOMERSSonos is not deserving of its customers. But then the only customers that seem matter are those that want new products. And even where the android app is working, it's responsiveness is variable.  The desktop app still works fine. But the mobile app should work just as well. It's a wireless system!! Apparently. I'd rather have something that works than the latest design of the android app. However good it might (eventually) be. At this rate it will be a year of deliberately hobbled functionality. I might be dead before it works as it should.  

It is hard to describe… but after the update a few days ago I have noticed a very annoying search behavior on my iPad and iPhone… when displaying hits from different sources the app screen stops half way … not showing hits from all sources. Then after a while the rest is shown… the app errors apparently never stops… gosh. Also, my local library often disappears… I have to restart the app to get it back in the search results (if this part of the screen is not frozen of course).Anyone…?  

No longer receiving an alarm notification on my iPhone, any idea how to fix? 

Beware this one’s a bumpy ride again. Music is playing but it can’t find a system on my network😳 I’d suggest waiting a day or two for this to stabilise. I now have a broken system….again.  Keeps telling me to sign in but sign in button is ineffective.App start up does not recognise my network.Getting connection time outs even when it’s showing music is playing.No streaming services working    Basically an unusable mess🙄 EDIT :Update…After about an hour my system has stabilised. One of my Sonos Ones kept showing as not updated  this has now been fixed. PositivesAlbum art works for every track in my local library, previously this was about 50%  System seems fasterTrueplay now working again on iPhone 16pro  So after a rocky update, of which my Internet provider may have played a part, things are looking good.   

Hi. So even after the new update thr album and channel art for SiriisXM is erratic. It loads correctly the 1st time when the app is opened. After that, it appears to always lag a song or station behind on any Android device. Change the channel and it displays thr artwork for the previous channel. Issue for me only on androidn devices. IOS appears to.be far more functional with this at thr moment. Have tried to uninstall and reinstall app to see if was an on phone queue issue with no improvement Thank You. 

I am new to Sonos.  I have a couple of older Play 3.  I stream music from my iphone.  I would like to be able to allow my wife to access the speakers from her iphone when I am away.  How do I do this?

Today I tried to connect to the app. It will not play content displays no content found and does not pull up TV as a source. I cannot get my audio controls to recognize my speakers. WIFI is working fine. 

On the old Sonos app I could download music from IDAGIO to Sonos playlists but cannot find how to do it on the new Sonos app. Can it be done and, if so, how?
