Has any iOS app update removed the streaming quality in the app?
if so, WHY??!!! Now I don’t know if the current song is being played using Dolby atmos or regular stereo!

Sonos doesn’t support Atmos music from Tidal yet.
If you play music from the Tidal app on your TV through an Atmos-compatible Sonos Soundbar then you’ll get it, but unlike Apple Music and Amazon Music, Tidal’s Atmos tracks are not natively supported via the Sonos app.
I can’t speak for lossless tracks from Tidal, but I suspect the same applies.

You’re asking about the UI element? I certainly see Dolby Digital or Atmos when looking at my Arc’s room. I’m not seeing it while streaming music, although I don’t stream Atmos music, so I’m unsure if I can confirm your report.
I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here, they get sensitive about GDPR.
There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.
When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
It’s working here on iOS, showing Dolby Atmos logo and showing Lossless on others, as it should (playing Apple Music).
Strangely, Lossless is just written in normal font now whereas I think it used to show the Apple Music Lossless logo. I could be wrong. If it has changed, maybe there’s something under the hood stopping you seeing the quality. But sometimes scrubbing forward in the song and then back again can make the quality tag appear if it’s not immediately there. Try that.

Just to be clear about this question: this happens to me when using streaming services like Apple Music, Spotify and Tidal. I’m trying different services, and noticed that using Apple Music some months ago I was able to see the “Lossless” and “Dolby Atmos” logos when the streaming had such quality/codecs, but not with Tidal.
Assuming I’m a novice Tidal user, and considering Tidal streams in lossless formats, I was surprised not to see any “Lossless” or “Dolby Atmos” logos when streaming using the Sonos app to my Arc system.
So, I’m pretty sure everything works well in my side, as it was with Apple Music, or when using eArc from the TV.

Yeah, noticed this some time ago, but now it makes no difference using Tidal. Never saw the “atmos” or “lossless” logo, even playing specific Atmos playlists. I cannot compare with previous versions because I’m using Tidal since yesterday.
