The rumoured stop to the windows and mac desktop apps is evidence that they clearly do not understand their customers and still don’t listen.
If the web app can do what the PC and the Mac app do, there’s no need for these apps. Sonos has not reached this point yet. So they stille support the PC and the Mac app.
The web app is pretty useless without Internet, but that use the cloud or switch brands seems to be the direction Sonos is going.
I can see a point in a couple years where I'll have the internet on my phone and nowhere else. Paying $50 plus a month for a second connection just to keep my Sonos working isn't going to happen.
