¿Cómo descargo la app de SONOS para PC? Moderator Edit: Translation by Google Translate - How do I download the SONOS app for PC?
I’ll try to keep this brief, but here is some background:For years I used iTunes for PC. I ripped my massive CD collection and also imported / purchased lots of music over the years. The data for iTunes resided on my Synology NAS. Recently, I started having problems with iTunes and decided it was time to move to the newer Apple Music App.All has been going well on that front. I made that switch on August 29th.Last week I purchased a used PLAY:5 (v1) speaker. It took me a while but I figured out to configure the NAS to allow the SONOS Controller apps access my music. It was working pretty well, but then I noticed that any playlists added or edited since I made the transition to Apple Music were not reflected in the Sonos Controller App. I have determined that since August 29th, while the Apple Music app is properly pointed to my NAS to play my music, it is not updating the iTunes Library.xml file on my NAS. So, any playlists I have added or edited since August 29th are being stored e
I just went to go change my e-mail address on file and despite repeated attempts to edit and save, the new email address won't stick. I was able to edit my street address just fine but I cannot get the e-mail address to change. Any ideas?
I’ve been seeing more music and live mixes trending on TikTok lately, and sometimes I’d like to play them on my Sonos system instead of just listening on my phone. Has anyone figured out a smooth way to stream TikTok audio to Sonos—whether through AirPlay, Bluetooth, or some other setup?I’m curious if the sound quality holds up and if there are any tricks to make it more seamless. Do you think TikTok could eventually be integrated directly like Spotify or YouTube Music, or is it better to just stick with screen mirroring/streaming methods for now?
Hello!I really struggled with the new Sonos app ((S1>S2 then dashboard change 2yrs back) Truly I was almost ready to dump my system and I’ve been with you guys since 2008.HOWEVER…I switched my network over to the 2.4 wi-fi on September 30, because I had a Wi-Fi outage and AT&T told me to split my Wi-Fi system and put Sonos on 2.4 versus 5.0. THEN… Not only did the app start to work better suddenly on October 2… I had an auto update of the app in the subject. And FINALLY!!! Sonos has made leaps and bounds improvement on the speakers and content controls!!! I haven’t used the whole app but BRAVO SONOS!!! Everything I would like to do may not be there but this was a HUGE Update to the Application on my iPhone.THANK YOU!!
Can someone tell why even SONOS is playing these gambling ads? You can't get away from them! You'd think Sonos would have enough conscience.
How does my wife get her youtube music and podcasts on our sonos system that I’ve setup in my name an my youtube music account?
Would love to see Apple Music lyrics in the app
I am experimenting with using YouTube music as my music app (since so many of my favorite artists are leaving Spotify). However, I noticed I can’t seem to set YouTube playlists from my library as my alarms, even if the playlist is public. I can find and play them in the main page, but not for the alarm. as a side note, I miss the old alarm functionality. So much nicer to find playlists
Hi - I’m Dan and I run Astiga, which is a streaming service for your own music. We recently shipped a new service into the Sonos platform which might be useful for anyone who wants to play their own, owned, music. Astiga streams your music library from cloud storage. This might mean streaming from Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox or the like, or streaming from your own storage self-stored on a NAS at home, or hosted somewhere. We support most of the big services plus some standards like WebDAV and SFTP (and de facto standards like S3) for the rest. This means, when you add Astiga to your Sonos network, you can stream a music library from Google Drive (say) to your Sonos speakers. Astiga takes care of all the streaming and library management. In addition to streaming through Sonos, you can access Astiga directly and sync your devices with Astiga for offline mobile playback, and much more.Astiga streams in native quality - whatever is in your storage is what gets streamed. We also offer po
It is not a network issue. Have actually had a professional in to check everything out. New update has left app unable to function on Android devices. Apple iPad functioning very well. Why can't you people leave things alone. After last year's debacle, I thought all that crap was behind us, but once again. Final straw for me.
In another post (which has been closed) the op asks about using a streaming player like wiim or eversolo with sonos. The op asks if apple music can be streamed lossless. A response post says that any sonos device with a line in can take 48bit music from the streaming device via the line in. Since my arc doesn’t have line in, i’m trying to wrap my head around this. I have arc and era 300s. So in I route the line in into one era 300s, it will play the music over the entire room? (arc and eras) or just the 300 (s). If the music is spacial audio (or atmos), will it play it as such?
I can no longer access Newstalk radio (Ireland) on my Sonos system. selecting the station either under Tunein or via Sonos radio just plays the intro adverts in a constant loop… FRUSTRATING!!
Where is the promised Android widget?I am fed up of being told it's coming, it's been over a year, it's ridiculous to have to open the app up just to skip a track or reduce the volume etc.I want my Widget back!
Is there any plan to improve the Sonos App. It just constantly does not work. I have spent so much money on these speakers and the App has progressively gotten worse as the years go on. It’s super frustrating building a system throughout your house using the Sonos platform and service getting worse and worse. Awful.
I get this error even after uninstall/reinstall of controller version 90.0-67300. I’m running Windows 11 25h2
Does this exist, if not can Sonos please make it. I would love to be able to save specific room settings like base and surround volume. I like different settings when listening to different types of music. Would love to be able to save settings so I don’t have to constantly adjust.
Spotify is about to launch lossless sound quality, I hope Sonos PlayBase can support. Sonos Playbase has not supported the lossless music of Apple Music, unfortunately.
How much have your senior team received in remuneration since your ongoingly atrocious app was ‘updated’?
After 10+ years and 18 current devices (and numerous others I sold so I could upgrade), I'm not sure this will be the solution going forward. What drew me to Sonos in the first place was that it seemed committed to being “brilliant at the basics.” However, if you can’t make the sound come out of the box in a consistent way after I hit a button, then THAT’S a problem. I am not minimizing the challenge of doing this… I know it’s hard with corporate, shareholder, technology, tariffs, labor, blah blah. But I bought this system exactly BECAUSE at one point it worked and you had this figured out. And now it isn’t (at least not as well). It’s a psychological barrier for me to overcome and move on, but I’m almost there. I still believe this is a strong product and company, but if it can’t figure out something as simple as a mac controller (after 10 years of looking at the same interface), then I think I can move on. Especially since the solution to ‘update’ the controller is to delete i
Bonjour,Depuis quelques temps, j’ai systématiquement le message d’erreur “impossible de se connecter à Plex” alors que mon compte est bien associé au compte et que Sonos accède bien à ma bibliothèque Plex. Moderator edit:Google Translate-Hello,For some time now, I've been consistently getting the error message "Unable to connect to Plex" even though my account is properly linked and Sonos is accessing my Plex library.
Hi, Not sure if this is the right place but... I would like to request the last.fm scrobbling feature be re-enabled on the android Sonos app, or at least allow other scrobbling apps to read now playing information to do their thing. At the moment the feature appears to be in a sort of "zombie" state where scrobbling still occurs but only if the play queue isn't changed in any way (e.g. Skip, play next...). I have to reset the connection and it works again. (on Move this means putting the speaker in Bluetooth mode then back to WiFi mode and on my Arc it means turning the TV on and off again to switch inputs). This was available on previous versions of the app.
Hi there The new Sonos app has adopted the strange behavior of defaulting to a random(?) room when you start it. Apparently it is designed so that you always first have to go to ”Your System”, then select the room you want to play music in, and then you can start to play something. Three steps instead of one. This is for me a highly anoying behavior as it is wholly redundant. I only play one music track in all rooms, it would be after all quite a cacophony if I would play different tracks in each room. Isn’t this the point of whole house audio, that you can move from room to room while seamlessly enjoying the same music?in essence this means that I have stopped using the app for starting playback. I just use Plexamp or Spotify now and don’t bother with the Sonos app any more. These apps allow me to directly select the room, without going to separate views or UIs.The only use case for the Sonos app anymore is firmware upgrades or speaker grouping changes. How do you guys see this?
HelloWhen I turn off one of my predefined alarms, Sonos turns it on again. When I delete the alarm, Sonos undeletes it.Never had this issue beforeAnyone who knows what to do?
I am sitting here on a quiet Sunday running a NAS setup through my head for media storage and Sonos access. I haven't worried about this so far as we've been enjoying streaming but it's time to get my old music library online. Currently everything is on a media computer that was connected to my original surround sound system and TV for ripped dvds. I am looking to transfer my music library to a NAS box that I can simply plug into my orbi router. I've read through the tutorials for setting up various NAS boxes and was interested in talking about current tech. I have setup many NAS systems for network backup in the past but was interested in your input on what available today using a SDD drive in place of a conventional HD. The reasoning for this really boils down to the fact all my network gear is in our bedroom and I would expect the sound levels for a SDD system would be less that the legacy setups. We live in the woods and frankly it is truely refreshing to have dead silence when
