My move won’t work with Bluetooth connection. I nave been using it earlier. But since some weeks the light at the top blink orange when turning into Bluetooth mode and the move is not visible for pairing or re-pairing in any other device. Help please. 

one of my Sonos speakers is not showing up when viewing “Select a Device” within Spotify from my phone, my wife’s phone, my desktop PC, and my macbook laptop.I’m unable to play directly to that speaker, but i can play to another speaker and group the rooms.I can also play directly to that speaker without issue from directly within Sonos. diag # 288346758

HelloCan someone tell me why I have to go through the’fix’ on the app and then on/off router everytime I start my Sonos app to play anything.No router change since installation….Rhanks

I am splitting my system to a S1 and S2 system. I also use plume to boost my WiFi signal. Currently, I have a S1 capable Connect connected via Ethernet to create a second network for my entire system. Do I need to connect one of my S2 speakers with another Ethernet cable to create a second Sonos network just for the S2 devices or will the current connection work for both S1 and S2 speakers?

Recently I’ve been unable to stream Spotify music to my Sonos speakers (Play:1, Play:3, One and my living room sound system) from my phone, they are greyed out in the “Select a device“ section with the message “Can’t play this right now”. I can do it from the Sonos app, but I prefer to use Spotify directly. On top of Sonos app screen it says “The OS on this device is no longer supported”, but it still works fine in Sonos. Is the Spotify problems related to this? I tried restarting the phone, it didn’t help.I’m using a Huawei P9 with Android 7.0, the Android version cannot be upgraded. The phone is working absolutely fine, and I have no plans on replacing it any time soon.

HiI have a buzzing sound coming through my playbar - 1st gen.It appears to be from the source (tv) as I was not getting it on Spotify.  I have changed the optical cable. Still getting it.My sound settings are set to PCM.Once I turn tv off it remains for a few seconds before continuing. When I reset by unplugging power it disappears before returning again. Any assistance appreciated.  support - diagnostics submitted ref 1335267663 

I have a System in my house with the following:2 x Gen 1 Connect Amps (Living Room and Porch) each wired with in ceiling speakers. Living Room zone also has the Sonos Sub. 1 x S1 speaker in bedroom.  I originally had one of the Amps hardwired into my router and ran the whole system off of that Sonos network. After not being at this house for a while, when I went to use the system if first couldn’t find the Amps and then did an update which found all zones. Now each zone will work individually, and each Amp will combine with the bedroom, but the two Amp zones won’t combine with each other. Also, it seems I am wireless mode, even though I have one of the Amps wired into the router.  Any ideas? 

Hi,I was having some wifi drops with my ISP router, so I bought an Tp-Link Archer c80. I set it up in AP mode and began migrating everything to the new networks. I disabled the old wifi networks and everything was good until I tried to set my sonos equipments.I have a playbar and a sub(gen2) on the living room and a play:1 in the bedroom. I’ve spent a few hours around this I cannot get the speakers to work. They show up in my system with the IP’s the router assigned, but each time I try to start playing something I get a generic error (can’t add to playlist 701).I tried everything I remembered, reseting both routers, wiping app data, reinstalling app, changing wifi channel to 1,6 or 11, etc.I then disconnect everything from power and did a factory reset on the playbar. I start the set up and everything goes fine, it gets discovered, added to the wifi but fails in adding device to account. If I clear app, try to join an existing system, it finds the play:1 or the sub, continues the set

Strangely, my activity(usage)  weekly / YTD log showing hours used by speakers/ groupings seems to be no longer available.. perhaps it's and I've forgotten from which menu button to find it ... but I don't think so..

I’m posting here because I’ve seen a variety of Sonos/Orbi conflicts and issues being posted. I had one of my own that was driving me nuts and, NO THANKS to Netgear tech support, I solved it. Here’s hoping my maddening experience helps someone else not lose days off their lives. I’m in a 2300 square foot, single level home.My Sonos setup: Sonos Arc home theater setup (sub with a pair of Ones as rears) in front living room. In back office (about 75 feet away) another pair of Ones that are stereo paired. I have a Boost in the living room wired into main router and a second Boost in the rear office wired into Orbi Satellite 2.Orbi Setup - I have the AX6000 (RBR850 Router and two RBS850 Satellites). Router is setup in the living room with the Sonos home theater. Satellite 1 is 30 feet away, just off the kitchen and Satellite 2 is in the back office. The issue: Orbi AX6000 does its topography arrangements automatically. I’ve seen some comments on this but none exactly matching mine so hopefully someone can help.My home setup -AMP and 4 connect amps and one connect to various rooms via ethernet cable and all direct to the speakers. The connect though is wired to high end mono block amplifiers which are then connected to speakers.The main source of music is on a Synergy NAS with apple lossless and flac files.  I also use Spotify, Apple Music and some radio stations.All work except the high end system which used to work fine.  If I start music sometimes I get one or 2 seconds then silence. If I pull out the ethernet Cat 5 cable, I sometimes then get one or 2 seconds which leads me to believe it is a buffering problem but I have no clue.I’ve rebooted, played around with settings but no luck.  I don’t know if upgrading ti the latest connect will do the trick but I’ve read reviews that the sound quality is vastly closed unless you turn off volume controls which I don’t want to do.  Any ideas? 

Dear since this evening, the sound of my sonos move is very bad. I did reset it but no change. Is there something I need to do to recover the great sound I had until yesterday. I have my move since less than a year.thanks for your help

Everything was working fine till I was using a Symfonisk speaker with the first version of AirPlay and iTunes. Then the new Sonos App came along, AirPlay 2 came along and now it’s a total nightmare. Sometimes the Symfonisk speaker shows up among the possible destinations, sometimes not. Some days you can see the speaker from iPhone, but not from the Mac or Apple TV. Today for example the speaker was playing happily from my MacBook, but then, in the afternoon it decided to go for a nap and it’s impossible to see it from the Music app on the Mac. It’s still visible from iPhone. I already tried a few speaker reset-and-reconfig; speaker and all other devices are on the same 2.4 GHz WiFi; tried to reset router a few times, same behaviour pops up again. (also can’t spend my days resetting things because of bloated software)The thing that drives me mad is that there are other AirPlay2 devices on the network and they all work with no fuss. Until Mid March I was able to use Spotify via Alexa on my Sonos One.I could do this in the usual way ‘ Alexa play XXXX’ and it would respond with ‘Playing XXX from Spotify’Now whenever I ask Alexa ‘Alexa play XXXXX’ I get told ‘ Heres a station you might like for XXXXX’ and its not spotify.If I then ask ‘Alexa Play Spotify’ it tells me I need to enable the skill - I have sent instructions to your device.Strange thing is - it is enabled, and works find on the other 2 Echo Devices.So I followed the usual sequence:Disable skill Reboot Re-link App says - successfulI try spotify App and can play on the device by selection (so Spotify Connect is working)But I repeat:‘Alexa play XXXX’ and no longer works. and Alexa Play Spotify - You need to enable your account. I am confused and dont know what to try next - any ideas? It should be noted all other voice commands are working as expected.    

Just moved house and we’re having terrible issues with the Sonos system dropping in and out all the time. Hi, I have a sonos connect which I’ve run without any problems for a couple of years. Over the past month or so, it has started cutting out completely and just stopping whatever it was playing. It won’t start again or remember where it was. I’ll go on the app and it says it’s unable to find the sonos on my network. For a few minutes it’ll be dead to the world, then it will come back online. I’ll start again with whatever I was listening to, only for it to just do it all over again. Sometimes I get 20 minutes of playtime, sometimes 30 seconds. I’ve tried resetting it and redoing all the connections from scratch and now I’m running an ethernet cable all the way from my Sky Q hub into the connect, all to no avail. I’m at a bit of a loss for what to do with it. Any suggestions please?

This is some sort of post-topic to this:  I got myself a splitter as suggested in the above topic and have a partial success as I’m getting 5.1 sound on the optical output of the splitter for my cable box. However I’m not getting 5.1 when I plug in my Chromecast and cast Nextflix on it. Per this: https://help.netflix.com/en/node/23924 for proper 5.1 sound from Netflix I should be getting 5.1 from Chromecast which is not happening, at least when I use it with the splitter. Do you guys think this is a Chromecast issue, Netflix issue, splitter issue or a combination of those? Any ideas appreciated, thanks!

Unable to play Music through any device.  I have tried with no luck:resetting the router resetting the every Sonos speaker (at the same time)  deleting my app and reinstalling it

Like the title says, the Sonos 2 app barely works on my Moto G Power running Android 10. It will work for a few minutes then suddenly not be able to connect. I have to force stop and clear the storage/cache then reconnect to the system to get it work again. Sometimes I have to try to reconnect multiple times. Once it is reconnected it will work for 5-10 minutes then stop connecting. I’ve uninstalled and installed the app multiple times. I’ve deleted all my apps to see if there was a conflict with another app. I have no problem connecting with any other phone/device in my house. It is only my Moto G Power that is unable to consistently connect which is an annoyance because it is my main device/phone. I’ve had the phone for about 6 months and it worked fine on it up until a week ago.  Any recommendations/fixes?

I bought a Play 5 to dedicate to use with my Peloton. Unfortunately, there is significant audio lag between the speaker and the TV output. What can I do to fix this? Thank you!!!

I can’t search for radio stations currently.The Sonos app says my Sonos Radio account needs to be reauthorized. When I click on Reauthorize it comes up with an error msg saying ‘Unable to reauthorize Sonos Radio account’.ive deleted and reinstalled the Sonos app but that hasn’t worked. Can anyone help? Very frustrating! 

I’m getting so fed up. I’m using a TP-Link Deco M5 mesh system and although it does a great job for everything else, Sonos seams to really hate it. When I say hate it, it literally won’t find anything?I’ve gone down the tech support option - got cut off of course🤬Ive rebooted the router. I’ve rebooted the Deco’s and rebooted all the speakers and amp.  Ive gone to put a bit of music on and obviously I can’t connect to any speakers.  Im so fed up of this. Any help would be great fully appreciated.  

Hello.I use the app S1 on one floor (mix of older and newer Sonos products working through Bridge) and the app S2 for two Sonos One (Gen 2) on the other floor.On my account on the website I can see all Sonos products.But after technicians solved a Wifi problem problem I had, I can still see and use the products through the app S1 but S2 and the associated two Sonos One cannot be found anymore.I tried rebooting. I tried connecting to Ethernet. I moved them to different rooms, near other Sonos products, near to the router… but I will not touch the router.Anybody knows what the problem might be?ThanksChristina.

Just moved into a new home that has a set of ceiling speakers and a set of outdoor speakers already in place.  I picked up a Sonos Amp with the hopes of tapping into those existing speakers.  I already have a Playbar and two Sonos Ones.  The specs on the outdoor speakers are Episode brand ES-AW-5, 4 ohm, 120 watt.  I don’t know what the ceiling speakers are at this time.  I’m not getting any sound out of either set, but it looks like the specs of the speakers don’t match up with what the AMP requires.  I just wanted to confirm that this is in fact the issue, and if so, does anyone have any ideas on any way to utilize these existing speakers within the Sonos environment somehow.Thanks.
