I have two Sonos ONE SL set up in stereo mode in one room, and a Sonos ARC in another room. Both don’t work with AirPlay 2 from a MacBook Pro.

The spakers are set up correctly and I can play using Spotify Connect from the iPhone app and from the Spotify desktop app. There is no audio coming through AirPlay 2 though, no matter what I try the connection is established (as visibile from the app reporting that AirPlay 2 is initiated) but there is no audio at all. Also volume controls and play/pause seem to work, yet no sound. I have submitted diagnostic information # 1477170668.

Try unplugging the One SL and Arc from power for about a minute and rebooting your router and MacBook Pro.

Thanks, I have rebooted a dozen times all of the above and I’m still getting the same issue. It actually worked once for about 5 minutes just after setting up the SL’s but now it doesn’t work anymore – no matter what I restart.

 

For information, my Wifi is a mesh from Ubiquiti. I had two APs previously then switched to mesh mode as the speakers seemed to randomly connect to the other AP even if it far away, no joy!
