Hi there all, I'm an avid SONOS user, but don't have the greatest tech skills on the planet. Furthermore, I'm trying to help my in laws with their SONOS set up. They're loving it, but now I'mm trying to help them to connect their B&O Beocentre 2002 (early 1980s) to their SONOS system via CONNECT. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this? Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone, I am trying to connect my Sonos connect amp, playbar, and audio Technica lp120 all together and I am getting no sound at all. Record player is connected to the connect amp through RCA cables (red and white). Playbar and amp seem to be connected properly. Record player is set to line. Not sure if this is correct as this player had an amp and the connect is an amp, but I have flipped the switch both ways and nothing changes. I have also tried playing playing with the line in source level in room settings with no effect. Please help!
Need a little help please trying to get my Connect hooked up to my existing amp so I can stream from the amp through the Connect to other speakers around the house. I've set up the Connect but I can't get it to recognise a line-in signal from my amp. I have the amp REC OUT running to the Connect Analogue Audio In but when I play a CD and go to Browse > Line-In there's nothing there. I have the Connect Analogue Audio Out running to the amp AUX IN and this works perfectly. I can select this room, play Spotify and it plays thorough the speakers attached to the amp. (This suggests I have my Analogue Audio IN/OUT cables around the right way on the back of the connect) I have tried: - testing headphone out on the amp to the Connect Analogue Audio In (in case there was an issue with REC OUT signal) - no Line-In - testing headphone out on iPhone to the Connect Analogue Audio In - no Line-In - resetting and reconnecting the Connect twice. - tried different phono cables and pro
How many different models have there been? I see different models being sold on Ebay. I'm asking because I have a playbar and a sub. I am adding ceiling speakers that I will wire to my connect amp. Does it matter which model I get? Thanks
Hello! I am interested in buying a cople of Sonos Connects. The plan is to have amplifiers between the Sonos Connects and the in ceiling speakers. In one of the zones I am planning to have a sub woofer aswell. My question is: When sending music / sound to the Sonos Connect, will there be output from all three (Optical, Coaxial & Analog RCA) outputs AT THE SAME TIME? So I can use one of the sonos connect and connect the Coax to a amplifier and connect the Analog RCA to a sub woofer? /Daniel
I am looking to install two pairs of Bose virtually invisible 791s in one large room. Will one Sonia connect amp be able to power both pairs?
ii. I have been using the URC Two Way Module with URC's Total control Accelerator software on Apple mini iPads to access Sonos Connect. It no longer works. I noticed mention of the problem on your site due to a firmware update. Has URC updated the module to work with your new firmware; if not, when can we expect a fix?
I have just bought a new amp and wanted to use it with connect. I wanted it to do two things. 1) Play sonos through my hi fi. This works fine. 2) Play my vinyl through the amp and the other Sonos speakers. I cannot manage to do this. My Sonos app recognises that there is a line in but does not put any sound out. Sonos say it is not the Connect as I managed to play my phone through the line in. I have an Arcam SA10 amp. Any ideas? Sonos tell me that I need to troubleshoot with Arcam.
how do i connect 2 or more sonos connects together
Any chance we could see this?
I recently moved, and am trying to change my sonos player to the new wifi but can not connect. Please help me connect to my new wifi.
Hello, Hoping to see if there is an option for connecting Mac Tower -> Sonos Connect -> Play 5 for computer speaker sound. -Would it work to get a Sonos Connect, and then run a type of audio cable from the back of my Tower into the Sonos Connect, which would then be able to play it through the Sonos Play 5? -Would you guys know what type of cable would be needed for Mac Tower->Sonos Connect if that would work? Would there be delay from Youtube/Netflix for video to sound? Thanks very much.
I unplugged the connect amp while moving and had to reconnect to new wireless network. Now the white light comes on for about a second and then goes off? No other lights, just turns white for a second and then blank?
I have a vacation rental property and just installed sonos. I want to setup the sonos through the guest wifi so my renters can access it without giving access to the main wifi. I bought a boost system but still can NOT get the sonos to run through the guest wifi.
I considered adding Connect AMP in surround mode with bookshelf speakers to Playbar. But I learned that disables the 2V sub output signal to a third party powered sub. If I keep the AMP and bookshelves in stereo mode, and hence use the sub, and then combine the two zones (Playbar+AMP), will the two combined zones work well for watching TV? I moved to a larger space, I would like to add two bookshelf speakers to compliment the sound from Playbar, since I already have the Connect amp and powered sub. I know this works well for music, not sure about theater/movie.
I have followed the various community answers and connected my turntable to my connect. Sound play out through my hifi speakers which are connected to sonos but I cannot get any sound out of my soundbar. I have group them but still no sound. I cannot adjust the sounds of the hifi via the sonos app either.
Please make my sonos sub compatible with sonos connect... Sonos connect amp haven't enought power to drive my speakers..and i love sonos sub!
Can you install two bass speakers in one system?
Hi, I have a Sonos Zoneplayer S5 that I am trying to use after a gap of 5 years and having changed countries - UK to India. while it was working fine in UK, I have been unable to set it up using the controller app on iOS. I have tried both the options - setting up as a new system or connecting to an existing system ( as it was set up before). Also I have tried connecting the player directly to my router with which my iOS device is also paired - again no luck. The Sonos controller keeps on saying 'unable to find the speaker', Did a factory reset as well, again with no results. Any help/guidance will be appreciated. Thanks
I have 1 Sonos connect amp, 6 in ceiling speakers, and 3 osd vms100 in Wall volume controls (controlling 2 speakers in each room)(https://www.outdoorspeakerdepot.com/vmimmaslvoco.html). Is this set up ok? I have yet to connect it all together. I do not want more than 1 Sonos as I specifically want same source in all 3 rooms. Thanks!
Here's my setup that Im trying to fix: 1969 Pioneer record player and Tivoli CD inputs going into a 1969 Pioneer receiver. From this device I've got a line in into a Sonos Connect. I then have grouped 5 other Sonos speakers throughout my house. When playing from the line in/Connect to the Sonos group of speakers I've got a delay. I'd like to be able to leave the Original Pioneer Speakers playing near the receive when I play my record player or CD player, and also have the Sonos group play simultaneously. Ive got the advanced audio setting set to "uncompressed" which helped but there is still a delay that is too significant to have both old speakers and Sonos on at the same time. Is there an option to fix this?
I have been trying to research this topic with all kinds of confusion. I want to use an existing SVS subwoofer (paid a lot of money for) with a playbase only. Playbase is connected to TV with optical and I want to use my own subwoofer. I will not be adding any more speakers to this mix. I would like to know if I can use the connect/amp just for the subwoofer to work with a playbase and if it will sync properly and the audio quality will be fine from the TV. Everything will be wired to network. I don't have interest in going all wireless. I'd rather not buy another sub since I already have a good sub. Thank you.
Hello, I've just asked a question in french, but it seems it shoulf work better if I write in english. Sorry if my sentences are badly written. Is it still possible to buy a Sonos bridge ? I cannot find any on Sonos website. I've just been to a store specialized in audio stuff, and I've been told to buy one, at 45 euros. It's much cheaper than a boost (which has the same utility ?). I've just moved in a big house ans I need a bridge as a Wi-Fi relay for Sonos. Thanks a lot !
See Title - I have no idea what other way to let them know.
