Hello. I have been having an issue with my Connect:Amp for awhile now. Every time I turn up the volume to about 65% it mutes and a white flashes on the amp. I have it wired to two pairs of Yamaha outdoor speakers with 130 watt peak power handling. One pair is located outside at my patio and the other pair is installed in my garage. To independently control the volume of the two locations I installed a Russound impedance matching volume control for each pair of speakers. I am thinking that the volume controls are what is causing the issue but not sure how to determine that for sure. Any help is appreciated. 

After exhaustive troubleshooting, I’ve narrowed the issue down to the 3.5mm Line Out from my Optoma UHZ50 being the culprit.  Setup: Optoma UHZ50 Projector sending audio to Sonos Amp via 3.5mm “Audio Out”. The wire is one-sided on the UHZ50 side, then has a red and black end which plug into my Sonos Amp. My Amp powers to Definitive Tech DI-8R Ceiling Speakers.  The issue: One of the two speakers is very low, static, and simply sounds bad. I tried troubleshooting everything - new speaker wire, different banana plugs, even swapped the speaker (I have 4 and 2 are in box) and even tried a different Sonos Amp (I have 2, one is still in box). Nothing fixed the issue, so the only thing left to try was replacing the 3.5mm cable, so I went ahead and swapped that (I also have two of those) and the issue persists, but if I flip the Red / Black the opposite speaker has the problem. We have a surround system in the living room comprising a Playbar, 2x Play:5s and a Sub.  I realise that Line In is disabled on the Fives in this mode.  However, if I buy an additional Play:Five to hook up to a turntable via its own Line In, can I still add it as a separate Room, and therefore broadcast to other speakers throughout the house? And if so, would either generation Five work?I don’t really want to go to the expense of adding a Port or Amp, but any other/better suggestions welcome! Thanks in advance (Please be kind to a newbie :-)

I am getting distortion from my Move speakers with my Audio Technica turntable (has a preamp)Connection>AT turntable >Sonos Port (Line In) > Move x2    (Wireless connection)Also have to turn volume up to + 50 just to get a normal level  any suggestions?

Hello, I have a client with two 70v in each of their restrooms that are run in series. We originally planned on using the Sonos speakers but were unaware of what’s currently there. Am I able to power 4 QSC AD-C6T speakers as shown below? Thank you in advance! I’m guessing that may run into issues with the fact that the output is stereo and that a Port is a better option but was hoping to not have to change our order. Thank you!

Hi team,I have an S1 system with a Sonos Bridge and 5 amplifiers connected to my own ceiling speakers. I am thinking of upgrading to S2. There does not appear to be a S2 bridge type of component on offer. What is the best S2 configuration to drive the exisiting speaker sets please? Am I to assume that each of the new S2 amps is also sort of a “bridge”? Do you still support a Sonos specific wireless network or do you rely on my own WiFi? Thank you very much for your support Dimitrios

I have a vintage stereo system with RCA jacks for input and output. A Yamaha CR 1020 receiver connected to a pair of JBL Century 100 speakers is what I want to hook up to the Sonos Port or other music streamer. I do not wish to upgrade any of my components, I have a Marantz 2270 still in the box as a backup. And the speakers work fine for my 68 old ears.I plan on using the RCA output of the Sonos Port to stream music to my current stereo system and using the Sonos Port RCA inputs from my system to power other Sonos speakers in other rooms of my home. I have the Sonos Port connected to my Stereo now and it sounds as good as my CD player and turntable.My question is what is the kHz and bitrate output to the RCA outputs on the Sonos Port? I think the digital outputs on the Sonos Port are 24-bit/44.1kHz. Does anybody know if the RCA outputs are the same?

I’m ignorant when it comes to sound and may have purchased the wrong thing. I have a Fluance turn table that does not have a built in preamp. I also have a Yamaha receiver is used to use to play it with in wired non-Sonos speakers. I now have two Sonos Ones I’d like to use for the turntable. Do I have the right equipment? I’ve tried to search for the right cord configuration and I cannot get it to work. Any guidance is greatly appreciated. Thanks!the back of the Yamaha is as follows.

So I’ve just now started investing in Sonos but I have this home surround I want to be able to use with sonos multiroom and also maybe use as tv Audio and perhaps connect more sonos speakers to work with it … but mainly connect to sonos multiroom so I can listen to music with all my other sonos devices. What do I do? And also can I add sonos speakers to my tv setup? 

Just started with Apple GarageBand music production software. Bummed to learn that I can’t use my Submini and pair One SLs as my “studio speakers” because of Airplay latency. If I connected the Mac Studio via HDMI to Sonos Amp to then play through to the Submini/pair One SLs, would that solve the delay problem? I’m thinking it would not, because even from the Sonos Amp, I’m then dealing with “streaming” via wifi and I’ll have the same delay.Any ideas? With the rising energy prices Sonos idle (standby) power consumption is getting more and more costly. With 3 Amp’s and a Play 5 I’m at 22,5 Watts or 197 kWh a year. At the October 2022 energy price in Holland this accounts to about € 149/Year or about € 12/Month. I'm seriously considering switching to Bluesound who seem to be able to build devices with seriously less idle power consumption. Please Sonos, figure out a way to solve this long standing issue.

Hardware/Software:    Windows 11 with all updates installed, S1 controller, Sonos ZP80, Buffalo Linkstation live 1TB NAS Network Profile Type: Private (VPN via high-speed Wi-Fi - No ethernet access to router) Connectivity:              ZP80 connects to my VPN via Wi-Fi and the two ports from the ZP80 run ethernet cables to a desktop mini and NAS I was able to play music from my NAS, with the above connectivity till about Sept/Oct 2022, when a windows 11 update caused the NAS to disappear.  This has now been fixed and I'm once again able to see my ancient 2010 Buffalo Linkstation Live (LS-CHL-V2 series) NAS.  Advanced sharing settings and SMB settings under windows features have all been checked by Sonos and all look fine and I’ve also posted screen grabs below. When I try and add my NAS share in the S1 Controller I get the following error:S1 -> Manage tab -> Music Library Settings -> Add -> Networked device -> Browse and select NAS and share from Network tab -> OK -&g

Last year I installed a Sonos Port in my house which is connected to a home speaker system. Recently, I have purchased a Dj mixer, more specifically the Allen & Heath Xone 23C which I use with a pair of CD Players, the Pioneer XDJ 700’s, and I am wondering if there is anyway to connect those to the Sonos Port so that I could play music through the home speakers? I attached pictures below showing the ports on both the Xone 23C and the XDJ 700's. 

Is it possible to use my current receiver and phonograph to play vinyl records through Arc?

If all I have is the Sonos Move and the Port, I could stream CD player and Turntable (with pre-amp) to the Move without an amplifier/receiver, correct? Your thoughts. 

I recently moved into an home that has wiring and in ceiling speakers for a multi room audio system. I’d like to be able to stream music to these speakers without going to the cabinet to turn on a receiver, etc. I was thinking a Sonos Amp looked like a good option, but I'm far from a home audio expert so i’m hoping to get recommendations from those that know. Below are the existing components the home has, would a Sonos amp have enough power to play music on both the main floor and the basement speakers? My fear is buying a Sonos amp which isnt cheap and then finding out it doesnt have the necessary power - then I’m stuck. I need advice regarding connecting a cd player to my sonos five! What would be my best option to do this? What sort of cd players should I be looking for or avoiding?? 

Hello all,I’m a lighting designer, and occasionally I do a/v network installs as an ancillary service.  I recently got stung by building out a whole home audio system with Amps/architectural speakers with a few rooms paired with Sub gen3’s.  The Amps were rackmount and wired to the network switch in an a/v closet FAR away from the rooms where the passive in-ceiling speakers and Sub were located.  Sonos led me to believe that as long as I had healthy wifi in a room with a Sub, it could connect (via the local AP) to the Amp in the network closet no problem.  I learned post install that this does not work as there is no network wifi connection for the Sub as it’s a proprietary Amp to Sub 5ghz connection.  I’m still navigating a reasonable solution to that issue with the client and Sonos.   My question is related to ensuring that any new installs are bullet proof.  Can someone 100% confirm that if I have an AMP set up far away (outside the bounds of the wireless 5ghz connection) from a Sub
