What to get

I have a new 7m x 7m extension on my house and I mostly listen to classical music.I have a Five and thinking of adding another to this room. I am also considering the addition of a Sub. Would this be worthwhile or would it be overkill? I appreciate any advice offered.John

Hi all, I have x2 Sonos ones sitting on opposite ends of a shelf. Obviously this means two power cables/ plug sockets used. Is anyone aware of a Y type power cable where x2 ones could be powered from one plug? Thanks Anthony (in the U.K.)

I need to cancel an order. I understand it’s a very busy time of year but I have waited on hold four times for over an hour each (gave up) and one time was hung up on while waiting. I used the cancel my order link in my email but still no response. Hi, I’m looking for some help and advice.  I’m about to buy a Pro ject T1 phono turntable as a Christmas present and have see from the site that it is compatible with the Five, Play:5, Amp, Port, Connect, Connect:Amp, none of which I have (I have a Play1 and Play 3) and so I was planning on buying one of these as well.I’ve since seen in another conversation that a Sonos Move is an option for the turntable.  So can somoene confirm, if I purchase a Move with the turntable, we’ll be able to connect and listen on Christmas Day and it wont be a major anti-climax because I’ve ought the wrong thing….Thanks you!G

Hi folks, I’ve recently purchased  a pair of Sonos Five (white) speakers, and I need to mount one to a wall. I’ve been searching the internet, and struggling to find brackets to hold them vertically. Sonos, I would like to better understand a proper shipping date for the Arc.  I placed my order over a month ago, and everytime I check your website it moves back a month.  I now see January 15th, 2021.  I have emailed multiple times with no reply from you all, I am very frustrated with zero communication from your company.  I would like a CONFIRMED date please for the shipping of the arc that can be kept to and doesn't move back monthly, or I will just cancel my order.  Please confirm.  Ben. 

Hi everyone,I am 55 years old and have suffered from tinnitus for years. In my living room where I watch TV and listen to music (which helps with the tinnitus) I currently have the Sonos 5.1 setup with a playbar, a pair of Play 1s and a Gen 2 sub together with a Boost. I am considering upgrading to an Arc (to go with my new Samsung 55inch TV) and upgrading the Play 1s to a pair of Fives.  Does anyone have this set-up? Is it a good balance between surround sound TV and music? Or is it overkill? My wife often complains about me having to turn the volume up - will the Arc and 5s allow better volume control at lower volumes? Or will the sound be deafening? 

I am setting up my cinema / music room with Sonos. I have purchased an Arc, a Gen3 Sub and a pair of One SL’s.Unexpectedly I now have a free pair of 2017 Play3’s from elsewhere in my house.Which will make the better surround speakers for my “best” system in the cinema / music room? The 2020 One SL’s or the 2017 Play3’s..? And why?I would like to use the S2 App.Thanks in advance.

My amp/ceiling speaker combo, ordered Nov 10 is showing backordered now 22 days.  If the ceiling speakers are the delay,  can you just ship the amp? I have other speakers I can use in the meantime,  but I can't use my Gen 3 sub without the Amp 😳

Hello,  I recently chose to upgrade a product with Sonos Upgrade Program (https://www.sonos.com/myaccount/user/offers/upgrade/. However, now I don’t intend to upgrade and want to sell the Playbar to someone else.  Is there an issue with the fact that is marked as ‘Upgraded’ if I remove it from my account and give it to someone else?  Is there a way to ‘undo’ the upgrade?  Thanks.

Hi, I want to buy Sonos for my living room, for music and TV(movies).My room living room has 18.5 m^2, good music-listening experience is more important for me, i don’t need 5.1 surround systemI chose to buy:Play 5 for music, in the future I wanto to buy second one, for stereo and even better music quality, Beam for TV.What i think:I know 5’s and beam won’t play together, even though I find it good choice for my 18.5 m^2 living room, to have best music-listening experience and decent sound from TV. Question: Is that a wise to buy such a setup as I chose? Or is there natural better option from Sonos speakers?Regards

Hi,I have a Sonos Move on order.  I am going to purchase a Bluetooth transmitter to play a records on a turntable through the Move.  Most of the Bluetooth transmitters use Bluetooth 5.0, which the Move uses 4.2.  I simply want to make sure that if I buy a 5.0 device that it will work with the move.  Understood if I will not have all of the advantages of 5.0; I only want to know if the devices using different BT standards are compatible. Thanks for your help.

Hi all,So we had a house built and somewhere in the process there was a miscommunication of what was needed.We have two in-ceiling speakers installed in our living room. The problem is that the connections for those ceiling speakers go down to the basement where the receiver is instead of to the living room. So the only audio we can get through our living room ceiling speakers would come from the receiver in the basement.When I asked the company that installed all the sound systems they had said that, without needing to rewire a bunch of stuff, one of my options would be to get a sound bar for our upstairs tv and then some kind of hub, that the sound bar connects to, that connects to the receiver which would then sync the sound in the ceiling speakers with the sound bar.They had recommended Sonos equipment but I'm not sure what we would need to make this work, if it works like that, and was hoping someone could make some recommendations. Hi!im looking to install a soundsystem for my projector. My projector has a 3,5mm aux.Im thinking of buying an connect:amp and plug that in via the aux. And then two One SL or the new Symfonisk from IKEA and BT sync those to the amp. Is this a doable solution? Will there be any latency in the sound?

Hello. Recently purchased the Sonos arc and sub, very happy. Looking to add rear channels for full surround. Based on set up of the room these need to be in ceiling speakers. Planning to buy the amp. Was looking to add some Sonance speakers. Currently have the MAG8R. Anyone know if these will be compatible and ideal? Do I need to downgrade to something smaller? Will I be able to get full surrounding support as well as use them effectively in my Atmos? Thabks

They are a horrible shipping service. They are always late. I want to file a complaint and I hope this goes to head of management. I would rather have you guys go with UPS, who is a much more qualified shipping option. Gosh, I would even rather go USPS over FEDEX. Can someone please give me a response because I’m seriously livid with how crappy FEDEX is! Just please give me my damn package and stop updating incorrect information for the status package and when I call for more information and updates, don’t hang up on me all the time. FEDEX is crap!

Hi. Totally new SONOS user who has not really got to grips with the power of the system yet. I am used to individual speaker Bluetooth use only, so SONOS is a huge step up for me.I have recently purchased a BEAM and love it. I want to add to my Sonos setup. Not sure where best to go next. I am not really interested in 5.1 surround sound.Looking at the deals on line, I was either thinking of buying 2 x ONE, or, 1 x ONE and 1 x MOVE. Our outdoor area has power, so we don’t need the battery speaker (MOVE)  as we could plug in the ONE’s.So basically, to add to my BEAM, should I purchase 2 x ONE, or, 1 x ONE and 1 x MOVE.One thing I would like, if possible, is when using the TV, to have the TV audio coming out of additional speakers. Is this possible with either of the above options?Thanks in advance.

Hi,My parents are looking for a speaker which they can take to a farmhouse they own, and it needs to be able to stream music from a phone + connect a CD player or a cassette deck player.A few questions regarding the Sonos Five: with the line in on the Sonos Five, you can plug in any 3rd party tape deck or CD player into it, correct? And it should play whatever is on that cassette or CD player? The farmhouse doesn't have wifi. We have unlimited data with 100GB cap per cellular line, so we were gonna hotspot anything we needed WiFi wise. How would they go about streaming something from an iPhone to the Sonos Five without an extra router? Would 1 of the iPhones have to be turned into a hotspot, then use the other iPhone to connect to that hotspot, and then connect the Sonos that way? Or can you connect from iPhone to Sonos 5 via bluetooth?
