What to get

In an ideal way I was looking too play audio through a pair of Sonos era300’s or fives from my Samsung series 7 tv. But it dosnt seem that easy. I’ve looked at an Arc and mini sub but I’ve been told it’s a good set up for theater tv but not brilliant for streaming music.I’m also looking to stream from my Mac or iPhone to the tv and audio out of era300’s or fives. Open to suggestions. thanks

will a sonance patio 4.1 series bought in th US work fine in the UK with a Uk sonos amp?

I'm thinking of changing my two surround play 1 speakers to two era 300. Compared to the current location, I thought of putting my new era 300 slightly more to the left and slightly lower down (at ear level). ( see picture)But I'm worried that my sloping ceiling (on the right) will ruin the dolby atmos effect. Some thoughts?My arc and sub are located where the photo was taken  

We have a 1,500 SF house and are looking for a system that would include a turntable in the living room with speakers in the living room, dining room, kitchen and a portable one to take in the front yard or back yard.  I have been trying to find something that helps us “build a system” but can’t find anything.  Does anyone have a recommendation on products to get for us to use the turntable, hook up to AppleMusic, maybe one TV in the three rooms and one portable for outdoor use?

Hello community,I am a Sonos fan. I currently have Sonos in 3 rooms, and i am expanding to the room 4 as part of a renovation.I would like your feedback for this Whisky tasting room. The room will be 70% music and 30% TV Movie / SportsInitially thought is to have a Beam below the TV and a pair on top of the door.what are your thoughts on that pair. Eras 100 OR 300. Sonos Five or Sonos One (Still available at Costco) 

Hi folks,  looking for some advice as a total novice!   Purchased the arc and sub mini and want to create a home cinema.  Am I right in saying best to purchase  2x Eras as back speakers? I also want to purchase a turntable for another room.  Best speakers for that would be? I’m thinking 2 x era 100 as the room is long.  If I  want to connect it all together and share the experience in different rooms. What do I need?  A port or an Amp or both ?  thanks in advance 👍🏼. Hello,I am just starting to learn about Sonos. For our new apartment living room we will have a new 55 “ Samsung TV, and I am looking for a sonos speaker set up for watching movies. I would also like to easily connect my iPhone via bluetooth ( I assume) to play music on the speakers. The Apartment has excellent wifi. There are also 2 ethernet ports on the wall, and there’s a wifi & router in the front hall closet that the 2 living room ports, ( and 2 bedroom ports) are connected to. What’s the optimal set up for this ? I am assuming there won’t be a lag if the TV is the source. Our main priority is good sound for watching movies, and TV.THANKS !

I have two One SL’s and I am looking to add 1 more speaker but the Ones are no more-- can I add the Era 100 to them and group them?I assume I cannot pair them-- but the existing units would be paired and in stereo.  Would I be able to tune them with True play?  Basically-- willl there be any issues?

I currently have an Arc and two One SLs as surrounds. Primarily used for watching movies. Minimal music listening.Question: If I am looking to invest more into this eco system do I replace the Ones with era 100s or do I get a sub?exceptions: I do not want to spend the money for the era 300s and my wife wouldn’t like the size.So do I invest in a slight upgrade to the surrounds or get the sub for more bass?

i have an open concept floorplan with kitchen and living room separated by a staircase.  I plan on putting 2 ceiling speakers in each area and would like to be able to play different music at different volumes in each area while being able to link them if were having a get together.  I want to avoid a wall switch if possible.Should I just get two Sonos amps or should I get one amp and two ports?  I do plan on rigging up the living room set of ceiling speakers with a beam for the tv.

Hi, I’m currently looking to possibly switch up my old surround setup to a Sonos system. I have some questions regarding the setup and possibilities of Sonos. I need to have at least a 5.1 setup for watching television, but I would like to add a zone/room with two additional speakers for the kitchen. Whenever I’m watching a movie, I would like only the living room speakers working. However, when listening to music, I would like to have both zones active (or one of them). Currently, I have speakers that are very visible, so I would like to use wall speakers where possible without losing audio quality. Is this possible with Sonos products? Hi,I'm building a new house and debating which way to go for the master bedroom.  Option 1: two 6in Sonos architectural speakers in-ceiling on the two side of the bed. This will be a very clean look, since the speakers won't be visible. However, it will cost around $1250 for speakers and amp, plus wiring costs. Since this is a new construction, I can do the wiring without any issues. Assume I would get nice immersive audio with proper stereo affect when I'm in the bed.  Options 2: one Era 300 on the side table towards the right of the bed at the wall. This will be a very cheap option, with Era 300 refurbished units going for less then $400. It won't be a bad look as well, since I have a side table where this can go. However, I wonder if this will not be very immersive, as you would hear music coming from one side when you are on the bed.  Options 3: have two Era 300s on stands at the opposite wall from where the bed is. I am moving into a condo that has built in wired speakers in two rooms. The speakers are several years old, but they work. They are Boston Acoustic In-Wall speakers. The previous owner had two Sonos Connect amps, and connected to their home network via Ethernet.I have two questions - First, what amp or setup would be recommended to power the existing speakers (the speaker cables are easily accessible).Second, I would greatly prefer not to use Ethernet as the condo is no longer wired for it. Is that going to present a problem?Thanks in advance for any advice. 

I just ordered a Move 2, primarily to use in my backyard, but also in the kitchen at times.  When in the kitchen, would it make sense to include a Sub-mini to enhance the bass experience?

Hi,I’m trying to decide on what would be better for music listening. Mostly streaming off Spotify. I’m a bit concerned that the Fives may be replaced soonish which leans me towards the newer Era 300s but I’m not sure which would be better for my usage.  I may decide to wall mount them. Would that negate having the up-firing tweeters? Im really stuck choosing. I’ve spoken to two Sonos reps and one said the Fives and the other the Era 300s. Any help would be super appreciated! Hi Sonos Community,Moving to a new house and looking at what’s possible in our great room for surround sound. My wife is open to the idea of adding speakers to the walls in our casual dining, but I don’t want to do anything hideous that would ruin the aesthetic in the room that’s supposed to be for enjoying time with family.I have the following components:Arc SL Sonos Sub (Gen 2)I am evaluating purchasing either of these options for surrounds:Architectural Speakers (QTY 2) with Sonos AMP Era 300s (QTY 2)Problem Statement:The ceiling in the room will be high at almost 20 feet and the room is very open. My first thought was to go with adding two Sonos architectural speakers on the back wall in casual dining, but my chat with Magnolia at Best Buy yielded a negative response as my estimation is that primary viewing would happen roughly 14 feet away from the speakers on the back wall in casual dining, which would be too far for those speakers. We could also do (2) white Sonos Era 300s and r

I’m looking at a music setup in a room sized around 5.5m by 4m and was wanting some advice on what to get.The price is roughly the same for 2 era 100’s v 1 era 300.at a later stage, I may also look at adding a second era300 (if I choose that option) and maybe a mini sub but at this stage, just starting out.I’ve got play 1’s and one’s in other rooms and they are great, but for this room, I want to go with the era type speakers.i  subscribe to Apple Music so have access to spacial and Dolby Atmos.any advise would be much appreciated.  

I'm purchasing some Sonos speakers for my fiance as his wedding gift. Upgrading from some old portable Sony SRS speakers I've had for awhile. We mostly use them outside like on the back patio or in the garage. I'm trying to choose between getting two Move 2s or four Roam 2s. Someone asked a question for 1:1 but now that Roam has been available longer I'm hoping someone has experienced self made "sets."

I have always been impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the Sonos community, so I thought I would seek its opinion:I currently have a set-up for our living room of a Playbase (optical connection to LG OLED TV), sub and two Play:5s as rears for both watching TV and listening to music. I had previously briefly set up the Play:5s as a stereo pair for when listening to music, and the Playbase + Sub for TV, but seemed to prefer having everything surround.I am now considering a Sonos Beam Gen 2 as an upgrade/replacement of the Playbase (it is still working but I know the wifi card can become an issue). What tempts me most is that the Beam can use the EArc connection of the LG for Dolby Atmos. Questions are therefore:Can I expect to notice a difference/improvement in sound field when switching out the Playbase for the Beam Gen 2 with Dolby Atmos using the current surround set up?Should I consider uncoupling the Play:5s for stereo music listening, and have the
