Before I pull the trigger on this idea, I think I should perform due diligence first. Why?Back in December 2022, I picked up what I thought was a Sonos Beem (Gen 2) from Amazon and later a Gen 3 sub for use on the Living room TV and Blu-ray in my apartment. When the Beam was automatically registered as part of my system, however, it reads as a Beam (Gen 1) in the Apps and on the website to this day.I recently needed to check something via the website about my system and found the Sonos beam was eligible for upgrade via the upgrade program. I understand there is a discount toward a beam gen-2 for example.This leads to my Question: as I understand it; I can keep my current Beam (gen 1) and get a true Bean (gen 2) at the upgrade price, correct?Why? I have a failing soundbar in the bedroom (not a Sonos soundbar) so I could use the Beam (Gen 1) to replace it.

I have spent my entire day trying to use my 6 month interest free pay pal credit account and the order keeps being rejected even though it’s approved by Pay Pal Credit. I have not received any reasonable answer from Sonos and the customer service team has provided no response to why this order has not been processed. I am paying in full in the amount of $1750 and fully approved yet the system has rejected my payment 6 times. Has anyone ever tried this and does anyone have a solution. Thank You Frustrated 😩 

Hello To All of You👋 I’m just wondering….what Sonos/Ikea collab YOU are most happy with(and perhaps why),and what product from Sonos/Ikea collab do YOU use the most? For me the product that i’m most impressed with is the Playbase. Such an nice sound and the shape makes it blend in my interiour.But right now i will say the Roam is the product i use the most during a day in my life….play radio from my bedside table. On the other end of the scale….the Play:1. It’s not a sound i was comfy with,and i passed it on. Of the products i own right now it will be the Beam Gen2. I feel it is kinda shy in the sound.The product i least use i will probobly say the Fives,but that is more of an placement-issue than a use-issue. They are in my home cinema room rather in my bedroom where i normally use the Era 100 for music. Have a Nice Day☀️

I updated Sonos just prior to 2/9/24.  About a day later when I had time to listen to music, I noticed many of the songs would not complete before jumping to the next song in the queue.  In addition, I could not select the speakers I wanted to use.  I contacted support, they did diagnostics, promised an email, I made several follow-up calls to support and they kept promising a resolution would be sent by email.  I have contacted them 5 times since 2/9/24 and to date I have received no resolution.  I have rebooted the entire system and updated my music library too many times to count.  What do I do when Sonos will not give me the promised resolution to this problem?  I have 7 speakers in total.  

3 days ago, I logged into Sonos.com and could see all of my system listed.2 OneSLs  - eligible for upgrade1 Beam - eligible for upgrade1 Roam1 ArcSL1 BoostToday, I only saw the Roam (which isn’t plugged in or working and being replaced under warranty) and the Boost.  I used Customer Support chat  to ask why I no longer could view these products. What followed was nearly 4 HOURS, 2 support people via chat and 1 phone call.  The chat support had me factory reset my Arc and it snowballed from there.  So many hours later, my system works again.. HOWEVER, I still cant see the devices in my “system” on the website or app.  I wanted to take advantage of the 30% upgrade. Though seriously questioning why I want to give Sonos any money at this point.Phone Customer Support said Sonos Sales had to fix the System issue. I feel like I am chasing my tail.  Anyone had anything similar?  What was the cause?  The fix?

I just took advantage of the upgrade program but I am wondering what to do with the old products: does Sonos offer a recycling process?

I am trying to upgrade my Beam soundbar but I can’t work out where to activate the credit. The Sonos page says to sign in and go to the upgrade page but I can’t find it.

I have 4x One SL’s , a gen 2 Beam & a Roam , all of which need / are running on S2 . . . I have just bought for the garage a 2nd hand gen 1 Play 5 which needs S1 . . . I have had no joy setting up a split system . Any suggestion ?

I have been trying to place an order for 1 month now, yes one month I have called, emailed, tried online and tried again, opened 2 cases, tried and tried again the order vanishes in the system. My upgrade coupons for 30% have vanished. the response from sonos - and i quote my email directly “At this point we would suggest purchasing through our store locators Store Locator (sonos.com) since the transaction is being rejected by the system and we cannot make it go through. “ wow - awesome resolution after 1 month - thanks 10 thumbs down

I remember it used to. Is there a legal reason for this limitation? And Will it in future?

Something I’d love: the ability to have saved configurations that could be automatically scheduled. For example: I live in a townhouse and sound doesn’t travel between the walls but subwoofer vibrations do. I turn off my Sonos sub and turn down the bass EQ on my Arc after 11pm. I’d love to just switch to my “late night” profile, or even better have it set to switch automatically at a set time. This would be incredibly useful for a lot of use cases, especially for those of us who have a lot of Sonos speakers. 

Hello!If this question has already been asked, I apologize.My question is related to the return policy. The policy says that the item must be returned within 14 days of requesting an RMA. Is a return still eligible even after 14 days of requesting an RMA? (it is still well within the 100-day return window they have here in Sweden). Thanks in advance! 

Just noticed my Pair of One SL's and Move have had their 15% Upgrade Promoted to a Limited Time 30% Offer. For Arguments sake, say the offer ends on 29th February, if I do nothing, my upgrades go back down to 15%. What if I add the Upgrade to my account, whilst at 30%, Come the 1st March, will it still be at the higher percentage, I hope so, as I don't have the funds yet to upgrade 😟. Thanks in Advance.

Hello CommunityThere are a lot of threads about Mesh networks, but this is a specific question about range.Due to on going connection issues I am looking at buying a mesh network.I think most of those on the market will suffice for me, but I do have a slightly unusual setup for one piece of Sonos that I need to ensure will still work post the change overI have a Gen 1 Play 5 in our home gym which is set up on the S1 app. The gym is just over 20m from the house/router (standrard wifi signal does not reach that far)The following set up works, and is reasonably stableI have bridged the connection to the gym via the garage. A BT disc at the front of the garage is hardwired to a powerline adapter at the back of the garage. In the gym I have the reverse. I get Wifi in the gym which allows me to control the Play 5

hi.  I had my sonos arc stolen, its not showing on my s2 app but is my alexa.  can i stop it from working?

I own 4 play one, 2 play 5, 2 play base, and 2 sonos amps for architural speakers  and 1 sub.  My system has never worked well.  I  have great sound during the 10% of the time when system is not cutting out, skipping songs or losing signal.  I have a mesh 6 wifi system now so I unpugged my boost hoping this would fix the problem.  I have tried wired and wireless.  Nothing works!!!  I have a very expensive dud of a system that I am ashamed and embarassed to play when company comes over.  I even paid a "sonos expert" to come over and re-setup my sysem.  And that was a waste of $400.  I'm extremely frustrated.  I've been pulling my hair out now for 4 years.

Hello, I’m planning to install 2 Sonos era 100 speakers on wall mounts (fairly high up) and 2 new uk 3 pin power socket for each speaker. Has anyone done this before, and if so where’s the best place to locate the socket in relation the the  bracket/speaker to make the sockets inconspicuous? Ideally the socket would be hidden behind the speaker.Any pictures would be really appreciated.Thank you

I have noticed that a lot of designers use your products but you don't really have any Revit or CAD models for them and that makes it hard for designer to integrate them and coordinate. I think it would be very beneficial for your company and sales to offer this service for your products and I can help you with that.

Hi hoping someone can help. I recently bought the sonos era 300 bundle which contained 2 Sonos era 300. I ordered the wrong colour so I initiated a return as it was too late to cancel the order.I received 2 e-mails from Sonos. The 1st e-mail showing on how to return the items and stated on 1st e-mail to expect a 2nd e-mail with one shipping label, which I received. Sonos delivered 2 boxes, each box containing 1 era 300 so I printed 2 copies of the shipping label and attached it to each box and returned through UPS. I contacted Sonos live chat to explain I only received 1 shipping label and they advised that it would be fine to attached the same label to both boxes as it was part of the same order. Sonos Poland confirmed they received 1 of 2 eras but not the other one and there is no way to track it.Sonos have told me I will only be refunded for 1 Sonos era 300 that they have received and unless it is returned I won’t get a full

Requesting the Sonos Mac app be added to the Apple Mac App Store. I’m aware the Mac app can be download directly, but requesting it be added to the App Store as well.It would be much easier to keep up with the frequent updates if users could delegate that to the App Store instead of having to manually apply them.This would also likely decrease inbound customer support tickets, as more users would have an up-to-date version. There are also a lot of unsupported 3rd party Sonos apps on the App Store which are likely also creating support tickets. And I suspect many users don’t even know about the Mac app.You’ve got frequent deployments, why not make it easy to take advantage of them?

I have 12 sonos products and I have been struggling to get good customer support.  Such a pathetic support where I am waiting for a supervisor to call me for almost 15 days even after I called thrice requesting the same to order two new 300. Such a shame of support.

The app is not intuitive or user friendly.  The kit is expensive and should be supported by a better application. 

I bought a white Era 300 wall mount last year but realised I didn’t need it.  I assume it’s too late to get a product refund.    I wondered if there’s a Sonos forum for selling it second hand or whether I should just use eg Ebay.   Any thoughts/ideas?

I had Gen1 and Gen 2.  Got MOVE2 as a gift.  My son set up gold Sonos app w his email.   Now those two new MOVE2 are not showing up in my overall system.  how to correct?
