Do I need to connect my play one only to wifi can I do it though my phone only 

Hi there I have a beam Gen 2 and wondered what would be a better next purchase, an era 300 or sub mini? My living room isn’t huge but wondered if the era 300 would connect with my beam if I went for that? Open to some suggestions thanks 

Reviews are not possible for obvious reasons. I have owned for awhile and upgraded once my Sonos system. The app is crap. They have since reduced functionality/sound controls, I constantly have issues with the app. Crashing It requires constant reboots, too many updates for less service, now recently and final straw it is requiring an update that is dead end. No fix offered and I am not here to waste more time with sonos tech support  Error message says retry later with no options to fix and zero functionality. I now know I paid wayyyyy too much for this garbage company's junk product. Replacement systems they offer cost stupid money for crap app and only fair to good speakers. Buy it if you want speakers that forever increase in costs and headaches. I want my money back and damages. It's like buying shoes and the soles soon fall off in a sharp rock pavement.

My dad has a room in the house where he used to listen to music and decompress.  His speaker system is outdated so I would like to set him up with a Sonos system.  What would you recommend for just listening to music only?  None of these products would be connected to a TV.

Hello, Sonos professionals,I’m getting a new house in a few days, and I’m finishing the basement with a SONOS system in mind--while I have the exposed walls, I’m trying to get the electrical setup. The living room upstairs will have an Arc Ultra and sub (where we watch tv--eventually I will add the erras for surround), and I want the basement to be able to sync to it for when we have parties.My question is how to do the basement. It’s about 700 square foot, and most of it is in one square, open area. I will have a poker table, a pool table, and a bar in this area. I’m designing the system for MUSIC primarily, as there won’t be a dedicated entertainment area any time soon, despite the presence of a wall mounted TV. I want something that can bang when it wants to for parties, but otherwise, provides clean universal music that can be talked over, specifically for poker games (so no speakers directly in anyone’s faces.)I’m currently thinking that two in-ceiling speakers over the poker tabl

Hi!I have a CD-player Marantz cd6007 and a Sonos Amp; a couple of Bowers&Wilkins speakers and two One. My question is which line in level do you recommend on the amp? 

Hi. I have a pair of Era 300s in a room about 6m by 4m. I use for music only, currently. They fill the room adequately. The sound is nice - warm, fairly detailed, plenty of bass. I don’t need more bass but considering a sub mini to allow the Eras to concentrate on the trebles. I have heard mixed reviews of adding a SM. Would be keen to hear views on whether it makes much difference to the delivery of the mid and high end through the Eras. Thanks. 

With $1,000 US to spend will I be better off replacing my ArcSL with and Arc Ultra or enhancing my Arc SL with a pair of ERA 300s?

I’m thinking of using a Rocketfish Bluetooth 5.0 transmitter to transmit audio from an older iPad to a pair of Sonos Era 100 speakers. The reason I’m doing this is that the iPad is using Bluetooth 4.x and Bluetooth 5.0 provides notably better sound. I could use AirPlay, but I have been having occasional issues with AirPlay even though the speakers are less than six feet from the router. (And don’t even get me started on my futile attempts to get these speakers from the 5 GHz to the 2.4 GHz band as some have recommended.) Advice on whether this setup is possible, or alternatives that would get me the most stable connection with the maximum quality sound, are welcome.

I am upgrading my home theater with an Arc Ultra and would like to use my existing, wired surround speakers and Velodyne sub-woofer. Is that possible; if so, how?

So after months of misery are things looking up? I did practically a full day of changing tracks, adding tracks, pausing, adjusting volume, etc like the good old days yesterday. Obviously I didn’t want to get too excited but after playing with it again today for a few hours and still things working as they should I’ve got a spring in my step and life is seemingly getting better 😂I’m not exactly sure when or if indeed an update has sorted things because I’d given up on it and stopped trying to use it, I’ve not done anything different on my end so fingers crossed. 🙏🏼 

I have purchased a Connect:Amp from a seller who claims he never activated or used the upgrade option. He says the discount eligibility should transfer to my Sonos account. The device is registered, but the upgrade discount option does not appear. What am I doing wrong?

If you activate the eARC option on LG OLED evo C4 (2024 model) the native DD+ 5.1 audio is sent from the Apple TV 4K gen3 streaming Apps to the Sonos ARC soundbar in Multichannel PCM 5.1 format with loss or little presence of surround effects and poorly reproduced central voice, while if you deactivate the eARC option on the TV (therefore keeping the less performing ARC transmission) the audio reproduced by Sonos ARC is the native DD+ 5.1 with the surround and central voice effects present and well reproduced...using the smart TV apps downloaded from the LG store the audio in eARC passes to the Sonos ARC soundbar correctly and is faithfully reproduced in DD+ 5.1...is there anything that can be done to avoid disabling eARC, which results in the failure to play Dolby Atmos streams ???...

Hi, please advise i have ussue with sonos app unable to sign in as the system owner, tried everything, reinstall the app, log out  

I have a set up with Sonos Arc, Bass, and 2 ERA 100s and they don’t sound really good with youtube tv live via Apple TV. I have tried everything I believe. Everything comes out of the Sonos ARC and hardly out of the ERA 100s.  They were expensive and I would like it to work properly….I used the music app through sonos and music came out great!!

I have some nice Front L/R speakers along with some in-ceiling rear speakers.I went and purchased a Sonos Arc along with the two Sonos Amps and was surprised to find out that the Arc could not be setup as a Center Channel only.  Seems to me that Sonos missed an opportunity to sell me some more gear.  I returned the ARC and will setup the fronts to produce a “faux” center speaker.

Does anyone know if using an HDMI cable labeled "High Speed" or "Ultra High Speed" is a better option to use with the Sonos Arc Ultra rather than the one included?

I have a playbar with optical out only port only. How do I connect this to an old projector that only has HDMI ports?The HDMI switchers I see don’t seem to have optical ports?  

One of my Ones suddenly has no white light and has lost connection to my wifi.I cant get it to do anything.Any options for me.

I recently upgraded my wifi system form an RBR50 based Orbi router plus 3 sateelites ot a Google Nest Pro mesh system and it has been a disaster. The system drops out at random and it is clear form other posts that there are some fundamental issues with the nest pro mesh system. I am not a techie and do not have any more hours to spend on support chats/calls (I just want a system that I can connect up after restting my mixed Sonos system and it works and can be controlled from my PC, iphone and iPad, seemingly not possible on google.I know that soem folks have found workarounds but I just want a simple life. Any help much appreciated.

AirPlay works fine on both devices.If I try to play music on the Sonos App with Apple Music, the Era100 works perfectly (I also get the Lossless resolution symbol). But if I try to play with the Arc, I get a message saying that “it was not possible to play the selected song, retry” and skips to the next song (and get the same message again). How can I solve this? I really wanted to make use of the Dolby Atmos feature.
