I recently upgraded my wifi system form an RBR50 based Orbi router plus 3 sateelites ot a Google Nest Pro mesh system and it has been a disaster. The system drops out at random and it is clear form other posts that there are some fundamental issues with the nest pro mesh system. I am not a techie and do not have any more hours to spend on support chats/calls (I just want a system that I can connect up after restting my mixed Sonos system and it works and can be controlled from my PC, iphone and iPad, seemingly not possible on google.

I know that soem folks have found workarounds but I just want a simple life.

Any help much appreciated.

What was wrong with your Orbi system, why did you replace?

I see you are in UK, who is your Internet provider? The major ones can provide whole house WiFi as part of their package.

Don’t Factory Reset the SONOS system without further consult. The reset will result in extra work and will almost never resolve a fundamental issue.

Did you give the Nest Pro the same WiFi credentials as the ORBI system? After replacing a router, reboot everything on the network.
