Hey Community, I’m hoping you can help me figure out a solution to a problem I’m having getting any audio at all to come through my SONOS home theater system when I switch over to use one of our gaming systems. I have a home theater system in place that includes as Arc, two Play Ones as surrounds and a Gen 4 sub. That is all connected to my Epson LS12000 projector and I use an AppleTV 4K for streaming. That all works great. However, when I manually unplug the AppleTV from the projector and plug in a gaming system instead, I’m able to get the picture but no sound. I have no clue why. I’ve read pretty well every thread I can find that approaches this area, but haven’t found an exact match or developed a better understanding of the context of the situation. If anyone can help explain it to me, I’d be very appreciative of that!

Bei der ganzen Kritik in verschiedenen Dingen sollte sich der Hersteller SONOS vielleicht auch mal der Kritik über die ACE Ohrpolster annehmen.In verschiedenen Test/Reviews sowie Foren-Beiträgen werden die Ohrpolster bemängelt, dass man bereits nach kurzer Zeit darunter schwitzt.Bringt doch endlich mal Mesh Ohrpolster wie beim Apple AirPods Max.Und nein, der Zubehörmarkt von Drittanbietern hat keine Mesh Ohrpolster im Programm Gruß Sascha

I have over 2700 songs listed alphabetically in my music library in iBroadcast cloud.  If I want to play a song in the middle of the alphabet I have to finger scroll the queue several times to get there in the Controller App.  Sometimes I have to finger scroll for several minutes depending on where the song lies in the alphabet, and every scroll has a loading time so that adds to it.  It would be helpful if there were a scroll bar in the queue or a faster way to get to a song.  Any suggestions?  I am using an Android Phone.  

I want to purchase sonos connect amplifier , I shall be setting up a WiFi connection with Internet. In the event Internet is down momentary on my WiFi,  will I still be able to play stored music on phone over the WiFi on sonos connect amp?Internet services is unreliable in my region, I don't want to get frustrated not been able to play music when Internet is down?

Our open-concept kitchen, living room, dining room is around 30x25 feet. No TV. We plan to listen to music at a low volume, and so was looking at setting up 3 stereo pairs using Era 100s (6 in total).  We likely would play the entire grouping of the 3 stereo pairs together at once. Was considering adding a sub to the space.  Is it possible [or desirable] to add two sub-minis for instance? Or is one likely sufficient? Or would a single sub gen 4 work better perhaps? Thank you for any suggestions

Now that the new app is close to being back to the functionality of the original app, I have one major problem that I want to know if it’s just me.i have created a large queue of songs from my music library. On the pc app it shows the queue and also places the queue display at the currently playing song.on the iOS app the queue seems to reload every time I go into it and the album art then takes an age to load. It never puts the queue position to the currently playing song so I have to scroll endlessly to find it.i tried having the iOS queue open and then using the pc controller to move to the next song but the iOS queue didn’t change. Weirdly, if I open the iOS queue and while it is considering showing the album art I change the track using the  pc controller, the iOS album art appears instantly.

Can users can the functionality to set an alarm for a group of speakers?  For instance I have a group called morning that includes my bedroom and bathroom speakers. It would be great for them to play together at a set time.  The current configuration is not functional. I would have to check daily to make sure the speakers were last played together for the alarm to work as wanted. This has been a long standing issue and a widely requested feature for at least 2 years. 

I'm thinking of upgrading my phone. Is there a chance that the App works better on a newer device?

Hi, not sure if this has been asked before but I wanted to check on placement for surrounds.We have our couches to the left and right of the TV a few feet away. We dont have a couch facing the TV directly. I have room behind the couch to the right to place surrounds on a stand. Would this work or will I not get that immersiveness as I'm not directly in front of the TV? 

Hi, my living room is about 16ft x 12ft. I am in the market for a sub and surrounds to go with my Arc Ultra. Choices are between the sub 3 and Sub Mini. Would the mini go well with ERA 100s for surround?Thanks 

I am requesting that Sonos restore the last.fm scrobbling functionality. I have been using this service since 2008. 

Any new on the setting volume limits at certain times of the day feature that was requested six years ago?Would be particularly useful for people who Airbnb their property out like.

Nice to meet you.I am a Japanese doctor and I am planning to open a new clinic this fall. I would like to play Dolby Atmos music in the waiting room. One thing that makes it different from a normal home theater is the spaciousness of the waiting room. The waiting room is approximately 750 square feet (74 square meters). The waiting room also has a unique shape. Here is the diagram: The area surrounded by a red frame is the waiting room. I was considering a configuration of one Arc Ultra and two Era 300s.Is this configuration not enough?If you have any advice on the best configuration please let me know. The music played in the waiting room is mainly designed to resemble forest ambient sounds, so that patients can wait for their appointments in a comfortable space. This is a different environment from a typical home theater, and Sonos does not have any directly operated stores in Japan. I didn't have an environment where I could ask for advice, so I decided to ask this community.

Current setup: Playbar, 2 ones and sub. I'm thinking about upgrading to arc and 300s to get at Dolby Atmos sound.Is it possible to wall mount the 300s or just put it on a table behind the couch (I'll remove the airhockey)?I'll probably keep the setup if If I can't get 300 positioned properly.Thanks  

I recently purchased the arc ultra and it's amazing. I have 2 choices for my next purchase due to budget constraints.1. Sonos ERA 100 with Sub 42. Sonos ERA 300 with Sub Mini What do people recommend? Uses mainly for TV and sports. Medium sized room about 3ft from TV.

Hey Sonos Community,I'm moving to a condo and could really use your help figuring out the ideal Sonos home theater setup. I’ve attached the floor plan so you can get a feel for the space — the main entertainment area is the “Great Room” (17’6” x 15’), which opens up to the kitchen, and dining area.Here’s what I currently have in my Sonos system: Beam (2020) Playbar Sub (Gen 1) Several Play:1s A couple Sonos Ones Roam I’m considering an upgrade (possibly to Arc or Arc Ultra) and want a setup that brings great surround sound and cinematic feel — but I also live in a condo, so I want to avoid going overboard with bass and volume.Would love your input on: Whether the Sub Mini might be a better fit than a new full-size Sub If Arc or Arc Ultra would be overkill for this space Best use of my existing Play:1s or Ones for surrounds Placement tips for a clean and optimal setup Thanks in advance! I have recently bought a Sonos five for a large room (5 metres wide by 12 meters long) and will look at putting this up one end of the room (its a Kitchen / Dinner) and the other other end i was about to buy a second Sonos 5 but am now contemplating with having 2 x Sonos era 300 as well as the Sonos Five? Im not a music guru but just want to be able to play the music off my Phone and have great sound and wondered what others would do / consider? The room isnt ready yet but will be in a few weeks and happy to spend the money up to another £800 if its worth it  So to sumorise,2 x Sonos Fives or1 x Sonos Five and 2 x Era 300

I've read through the discussions here and it upset me that no one provided this easy solution. Listen Not everyone wants to stream FM/AM local broadcasts!!! Some people like myself want a simple TUNER connected to their sonos system so they can QUICKLY go to a local radio station. I had to look around and finally purchased a HD tuner by Sangean, I believe its the model 100. I also had the sonos Amp which I connected the tuner RCA outputs into the Amp. The Amp also has small wired speakers because I use this in my workout room. I get the best of both worlds with this setup! So sonos if they are smart will create a simple TUNER because not everyone wants to stream EVERYTHING!!! Make sense.????

Suddenly my Playbar connected via optical will not play TV audio. It’s not the optical cable. I’ve had this happen before and I was able to fix it but I can’t remember what I did. I have a LG tv. Any thoughts much appreciated. 

When lyrics will be available in somos apps for Spotify ?

I just upgraded to a 2025 MacBook Air running Sequoia, and all of a sudden, the Sonos App is not available. It’s still on my older laptop, but I’d like to be able to control it from my new machine that I’ll be using most of the time. Any thoughts? I could download some third party app, but those have been a hassle in the past. The app is still fine on my iPhone fwiw.  thanks!
