I want to purchase sonos connect amplifier , I shall be setting up a WiFi connection with Internet.

In the event Internet is down momentary on my WiFi,  will I still be able to play stored music on phone over the WiFi on sonos connect amp?

Internet services is unreliable in my region, I don't want to get frustrated not been able to play music when Internet is down?

I can play local music as long as I have local LAN (WiFi), without outside (internet) connection.

Thank you for the reply

I intend to set up my sonos connect amp in control/server room on the second floor while I run the access point(lan) and speakers to the living room on ground floor . I guess it will still work as you have stated ?

Harder to find one of the ‘older/no longer produced’ CONNECT:AMPs, they’ve been replaced in the product line by the more powerful Amp.

I tend to run most of my speakers wirelessly, connected to either WiFi from my router, or SonosNet from my BOOST, but they all connect and play from my NAS.
