Since a recent update this stupid screen pops up, and you have to piss around with the app for five minutes to get rid of it.Ironically it's blocking the favourites screen, and serves absolutely no purpose.Please get rid of it.

Sonos speakers Symfonisk does not show to cast Youtube music, youtube. Sonos app is working and connects, but of course is not the same.

Hello.BackgroundI have a 2016 Sony Z9D TV that only has ARC.  I love the TV and don’t want to change it just to get eARC.  As part of a home renovation, I am about to get rid of my traditional surround system in place for a Sonos ARC 5.1 system (ARC+Sub+2 One SLs).  The TV has 4 HDMI ports of which only 2 are HDMI 2.0 compatible (other 2 are 1.4) and unfortunately tone of the HDMI 2.0 ports is the ARC port.  I want to keep the system as simple as possible so that my family can use it without getting a university degree but still want Atmos.  My family mostly uses Apple TV (4k), PS5, and cable tv - although I have other inputs that I use less often (Nintendo Switch, HTPC etc) and this will go through a cheap HDMI switch.  I never use the TV’s internal apps because the OS is slow. (The TV has google assistant built in which makes automation easy if I use Google Assistant on Sonos Arc).  PlanSo my plan is as follows.  Purchase the HD Fury Arcana and the Sonos System.  Plug the Apple TV 4K

My arc speaker are damaged by either chipmunk or squirrel. What are the possible solution should i contact customer or show them to someone who can repair electronic items.

I wanted to share my experience because there were no existing topics to cover this.I moved homes and took my Sonos One SL with me. I created a new wifi network, so obviously I knew the Sonos One SL would not connect to the new network. I simply figured this would be an option inside the sonos app to change the network. It was not.First, I tried attempting to connect and the Let’s Fix It option was coming up at the top. I went through the instructions, finding the sonos product, and then attempting to connect to new network. No luck.Second, I tried a master reset of the sonos by holding down the join button while reconnecting to power. Sonos was reset, but would not connect to my phone (apple iphone 12). Finally, at the suggestion on here through another topic, someone suggested removing the app. This actually worked for me. So, in conclusion, solution is to factory reset the speaker, and then remove app and then claim the factory reset sonos product. VOILÀ!

I am thinking about purchasing the Sonia roam. Is it possible to connect it with my TV / sound bar to take it into my garden and listen to the TV out there?

Will the Sonos arc, gen 3 sub work with home wifi which is T-Mobile 5g? I hope it does I want this system.

We’re doing a big backyard renovation and trying to figure out the setup and what I need to have an electrician do.  I have some general questions about using Sonos AMP + Outdoor speakers + TV. My assumption is that the best setup to get the TV connected is to connect HDMI ARC from TV to Amp, correct? The TV will only use native apps for TV (YouTube TV, HBO Max, etc).  How easy will it be to switch audio via Siri/Airplay from the TV or vice versa? Any other considerations I need to have as I begin getting equipment and cables for the electrician?Thanks in advance for any insight as to what may be needed.

This question has been asked myriad times in slightly different formats/ contexts but here goes again; how do I print off the track list from a Sonos playlist so I can share it with someone else?  Adding a layer of complexity, can I share it with another Sonos user?

I have had Sonos of about 4 years because I wanted to be able to relax to music and have a radio station alarm play early on a Saturday morning.I also have a Ring doorbell and a wifi ‘net’ for my work.I frequently lose connection to some of my speakers and every so often the speakers just ‘boing’ incessantly - usually at 06:15 when the alarm goes off.I had numerous conversations with support who identified that Sonos and the latest BT router weren’t compatible.I eventually got round that by hard wiring one speaker to the router (what’s the point of a wi-fi system that has to be hard wired!)Even with that hard wired I still randomly lose connections from the speakers - almost as if they are throwing the connection around themselves.Today we were woken by the dreaded ‘boings’ so I had to get up bleary eyed to try to resolve the issue. I can now get 2 out of 4 speakers working. I have done all the rebooting, reinstalling and I know when it’s good and ready it’ll start working again.I am j

I have an older Mac Mini, A1347, from late 2014, hooked up to my home theater system for some games on it. Apparently this model doesn’t send audio out through the HDMI cable. My system in that room uses a Playbar, two Sonos 1 players, and the woofer (forgot what it’s called). When I try to use AirPlay so I can play the audio from this Mac through my theater sound system in the same room, that system (based on the Playbar) is not on the list of Sonos devices I can use for playback. All the other Sonos devices in that building and in the house (all on the same LAN) show up, but not the theater setup.Is this a solveable problem or is there some reason the Playbar and combined system of 4 speakers can’t handle AirPlay when all the smaller devices can?

I’ve created a simple command line control program for Sonos, implemented in Python. I find it very useful for creating a variety of Sonos control scripts (e.g., using cron to run scripts at specific times), and sometimes just for quickly controlling my Sonos systems when I don’t want to start the app. It works with S1, S2, and split Sonos systems, and it should run on any OS that supports Python 3. Hi folks, I’ve got a Sonos arc connected to my Sony TV via hdmi earc and a Sonos boost hardwired to the router. When I group the play 5s and the arc while watching a movie/tv there seems to be a slight timing issue between the output. It’s minor but creates an echoing effect. My objective is to explore having more of a 5.1 effect reaching for a wider sound stage with the play 5s providing the left/right channels.   im wondering if an Ethernet cable between arc and plays may provide some connectivity - I’d imagine im not the only one thinking like this?? Anyone else!?

Help please: I have the Arc, a Sub and 2x Fives for my surrounds in my 'Living Room' zone (Arc+Sub+LS+RS) connected to my television.Can I switch the 2 Fives for use in stereo with my turntable (yes, I have a preamp) so I can listen to vinyl as well (not at the same time)?Thanks in advance.

This sucks that I cannot log into my Tunein premium service! Now I have to listen to adds each time I want to listen to a radio station. Get with it sonos, your system sucks. Looking for a new home audio system. Sonos is not a user friendly product!

I have a 10-years plus plethora of first generation (S1) products that don’t function with S2 software. Is there a work-around way to get my system to work with Bluetooth devices 

So I’ve read a few of these issues, more hopeful I was thinking of However…. my issue might be other devices. So… my Sonos is fine when playing things from Android TV, no issue, however my Virgin V6 Box is another matter… there is definate delay there. Some music artists look better at lip syncing that this thing.My question is, is this a problem with maybe the HDMI cable that connects to the TV from my Virgin box, as in would it make a difference? I do have an XBox one, but it’s wired a bit behind things upstairs so want to move that as a last resort just in case….

Pretty sharp group here - so I will throw out a novice question. Forgive me if this is TMI. I have a pretty solid home system but will be moving into my girlfriends house. Her place, no sound system - so the A/V is up to me. I am starting from scratch at her location and plan on setting up an A/V closet for Vinyl and some older components. . Currently own Sonos - ARC, 2x One SL, and a Sub for the main room.  I would like to incorporate some of my current piecesFluance RT82 Turntable (w/o built in pre-amp)CD Jukebox, VCR & Bluray PlayerLG OLED65C1 TV I also have decent pre-amp and/or an Onkyo TX-NR676 (that says it is Sonos compatible and has both wifi & Bluetooth)   My question is, I do plan on incorporating more Sonos gear throughout the place, but since her place is a blank canvas, would I even need my Onkyo receiver if I do not plan on hardwiring any speakers at this juncture, or should I be selling it and going a different route? And if I keep the the Onkyo receiver with th

Hi  I am about to add 2 sonos 1s as a stereo pair to my living room. In my conservatory I have an existing system of 2 sonos 1s and a sonos sub. How can I configure the living room pair to use the sonos sub in the conservatory, but ensure the sub still works with the conservatory pair? Thanks for any pointers.

I have been trying to buy the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable in Black for two months now in europe and it is not in stock.  Is there any expectation of it coming back?Not interested in the walnut version not the Pro-Ject T1Really looking forward to get my new setup.

I would like a feature (which I think is deficient by its absence today) in the app that allows you to toggle the Move into Bluetooth and Wifi mode.  Sometimes I switch my move to bluetooth to pair with my TV streaming device in the bedroom. After the film is done, I would like to be able to switch the move back to wifi and be able to use its voice control etc without having to get back out of bed! Thanks.

When I ask my Arc to play music it plays way too loud and I have to go back and tell it to play at level 3. I have seen older post where it should play at the last know setting but that does not work ie: last setting was at Level 3.  It always plays loud and I have to change the setting. I have looked but do not see a start up setting anyplace. Is there anything that can be done so it starts at a set level? 

I have recently moved home.I have 4 Play ones and a Sub all linked by a Sonos Bridge all a few years old.They worked fine in my old home.I tried to set them up yesterday after updating but its not finding any of them on the S1 app.I have downloaded S2 app but its nit compatible with a bridge.Will I need to purchase a Sonos Boost.Thanks for any advice.

Thought I’d take my Sonos Roam on holiday.    Didn’t work.  Couldn’t connect to WiFi as the hotel (Radisson), like most, uses open access WiFi so instead of a password, you sign in with room number and family name.   I kinda accepted that, though far from ideal, but I couldn’t even get the Roam to work via Bluetooth.   I had the hotel IT guy try various workarounds for an hour but he had to give up.   Does anyone know a solution for this?   Cheers.
