Dearcan i connect Sonos Zp 100 with Sonos sub If do how does it pl 

HelloMy topic title might sound stupid, but I have never had a sub woofer before, so don’t really know what to expect.I just bought a Beam Gen 2 and Mini Sub.Connected the Beam to TV and I CAN hear the difference compared to only the TV speakers.The Sub Mini arrived a few days later, positioned it 2 metres to the right of the Beam/TV. I think I have set up the Mini Sub correctly, white light is on.Put on some heavy metal music from You Tube…….and I don’t think there is any difference!! 😕   Question - is there a way to flick the Mini Sub on and off while listening to music, so I can see if there is a difference??Any other suggestions to ‘test’ the Sub Mini?

Frågan är om det skulle finnas en vänlig själ som skulle vilja hjälpa mig fysiskt att få rätt på mitt sonos system som består av 2. St era 100 och 2 st. Play 1 en sub mini och en beam. I have a Play 5 that I want to connect to my Port (via RCA cable) which is connected to a turntable as the source. Doing so I hear no output from the Play 5 speaker.  Do I need to connect an amplifier between the Port and the Play 5? I am trying to find a use for my Play 5 since it is an older model and not compatible with the newer equipment I have. The Port correctly broadcasts to my other Sonos speakers in the house. I thought I could hardwire the Play 5 and use it as well.  No?

Hello! I have a feature request - front left and front right channels. I think the wider sound stage will sound better, and Sonos can sell us more speakers in the process :) Hopefully it’s implemented in a way that gives us options like using all drivers vs turning off redundant drivers. But the important thing is we retain that option (much like full vs ambient sound for surrounds.) Thanks!

I can NOT believe i have spent hundreds and hundreds of pounds on the new Sonos move 2 and two roam speakers only to find out they cant be played at the same time via bluetooth using my iPhone 16 pro max what an absolute JOKE !!!! So unhappy 

I a great vinyl collection that I originally had connected to a Denon AVR, def tech speakers and sub, and an audio technica turntable.  It sounded very good, but I wanted to go wireless for a lot of reasons.  I gave the speakers and receiver to my daughter and replaced them with 2 Sonos ONE SL’s,  Beam, and Sub Mini.  It didn’t occur to me that they weren’t Bluetooth compatible.  Now I have all these great albums but no ability to play them since the Sonos aren’t Bluetooth compatible.  I’m open to buying a new receiver but am not sure which one to buy.  Any ideas?

Is it true that the iOS app and the soundbar have to use the same SSID even 2 SSIDs are on the same network?

Hi all, so I am dealing with an extremely frustrating issue involving connected services in the app.  One particular account (Audible) wasn’t working right (would only list items in my subscribed library but not play them) and so I figured I’d remove it and re-add but all the Sonos Android app does is give an error saying the account can’t be removed.  Nor can I add another instance of (more errors).  I tried the same on another phone.  I also tried the Windows app and it shows all my other connected services but not this one.  Trying to add it again in the Windows app also results in errors.  Why is Sonos being so stupid about this?  Tech support did not provide any solution and I’ve done all the useless restarts of routers, apps, etc.  Is there really no way to force remove a bad service connection from the list?

Hi everyone.I'm building a Sonos system for my TV room. The TV is large (a 77-inch OLED Panasonic), but the room is quite small (about 13 square meters). Initially, I wanted to limit myself to just the Arc Ultra soundbar, but then, after researching online, I became curious about adding a pair of Era 300s.I tried moving the sofa about 20 cm away from the back wall, and I think I could fit the pair of Era 300s in this space (between the wall and the sofa), on their dedicated stands. It's not ideal for the room's design, but at least, since they're not wall-mounted, everything is reversible. So, to my question: the room is small, and I'm not looking for realistic explosions and extreme bass: could a system like the one described work very well, or would the overall sound be unbalanced, with a sort of "hole" in the low-frequency region? To be clear, would I be building a castrated system?My problem isn't budget, but rather a concern about not saturating a rather small space.Thanks, Robert

Trying to play single songs through the app but when I search for a song all I get is album and station suggestions. Maybe I’m missing something. 

I currently have one Era 300 (used for record player with line in), two Era 100s used as surround with my Beam Gen 1. I am torn between what to do for an upgrade. I want to stay around the $500 price point. Any suggestions or recommendations? My ideas are buying the sub mini, or buying the Beam Gen 2.

We're about to start finishing the space, so now's the perfect time to run any necessary wires. Here in Canada, Costco has been selling SONOS products for a couple of years.  In one warehouse, the stock, like Era 100, Move 2 and Beam have been on display from at least January 2025. This i know because of a labelling error which caused Costco staff to remove some of the labelling. Soooo, suddenly with the PRICE INCREASE,  this old stock has gotten veery expensive. Some Costco staff have commented that they wish Costco would stop carrying the product because they may sell one item a week….tariffs? No...greed.

I’m confused about the benefit of a wired connection. Past products created their own private wireless (mesh) networks should any Sonos supporting product be hardwired. Great, but new products don’t use or have that feature. So, what are they doing now talking wired/wireless? They still reference ‘first-wired product’ as the point where the system will utilize wired. Okay, so let’s say the soundbar gets cabled with two 100 surrounds and a sub remaining wireless. The HDMI/TosLink input may be decoded at that device (soundbar) where respective Dolby channels are sent  back to the WiFi router then to wireless devices - all in sync. The ‘first’ product must have considerable traffic receiving packets and sending packets while others basically receive only.However, they say you can wire  ‘any’ product in the system which makes no sense why a down-line sub or rear would lighten LAN traffic. Sure, 100’s can play music or a line input in stand-alone but can they decode and distribute a Dolby i

Hi everyone,I’m trying to decide between the Sonos Arc and Beam Gen 2. I can get both for roughly the same price (Arc is actually €50 cheaper), and I’m finding it hard to choose.A bit about my setup: TV: 65″ with HDMI eARC Room: Medium-sized living room Use: Mostly Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, movies, and music Here are the two options I’m thinking about: Beam Gen 2 + Era 100 pair + Sub Mini Arc standalone bar and later add  Sub Gen4 Arc + Sub Gen 3 or 4 now, and maybe add Era 100/300 as rear speakers later I’m looking for good movie immersion, clear dialogue, and solid music performance without going overboard.Given my TV and room size, would you go Arc now or Beam + surrounds? I have a TCL QM8K and for the first months with my setup everything was working fine. I have the Beam Gen 2 connected to the ARC port of the TV and Play:1 as surround speakers. I was able to play movies with AAC 5.1 or 7.1 with no problem. Now the movies with AAC only plays as PCM 2.0. I have no idea if it was an update that caused this. I even downgraded my TV OS to see if that was the problem but it wasn’t. I have a huge catalog of movies and a lot of them are only in AAC multichannel. I don’t know what to do. 

Hi group. I just picked up a OPPO UDP 203 which has 3 HDMI ports. One in and 2 out (one for audio only). BUT more importantly the unit has 7.1 Analogue audio RCA outs that APPARANTLY can be used simultaneously with the HDMI outs. My question is. Could I send the two left and Right RCA outs on the Oppo to my external Hypex Ncore 500s (which power two towers. while simultaneously sending the HDMI data to my TV which in turn is sent to my 7.1 ARC/sub/100 system and thereby adding a physical [pair of front left and right speakers that are truly playing only those respective channels? I am going to try it but I suspect the issue will be a Syncing one? Thoughts All?

Hi community,I’ve watched various videos but of course my set up, like most, is a little bit unique.  I would welcome advice on where to place 2 x Era 100s for surround.  I currently have LGC1 TV and Arc wall mounted.Typically both arm chairs and the sofa are all used when watching TV.Thanks for any input!  

Okay, this one is perhaps a tad nutty but bare with me a second. I came across a Reddit post where they claim with streaming music in ‘Ambient’ mode (Surrounds), they hear different program material perceived on the rears but not happening on the front ‘stage’. Replies were - they are clearly nuts or yes, DSP is tweaking the surround image. I assumed Ambient was simply rolled off a bit where Full meant the rear volume was hotter. Both being mirrors of L/R channels. In ‘Full’ that’s exactly what it sounds like. But… in Ambient, things seem to change. Standing in the center of the room, I caught what he’s talking about. I hear seemingly panned rear reverb trails and isolated bits like stick taps on the high hat from the rears only. Sometimes backup vocals are heard rear, not present or are weaker in the front. At first I thought it may be different size enclosures, different tweeter responses, reflections or placement. But in Full or when TV audio plays in PCM 2.0, it sounds mirrored as

I currently have a Beam (gen 2), sub mini and 2 x SLs as my surround sound system. It also doubles up to play vinyl on occasion through an amp.I have a bit of money to upgrade but it will be step by step, so my query is really where will I notice the most difference? Should I upgrade my Beam to an Arc Ultra or the SLs to 2 Era 300s?thank you

I have a Home Automation Inc (HAI) Hi-Fi2, 8 zone sound system that I am interested in replacing as it is working intermittently and the manufacturer has discontinued the product.  Each zone corresponds to a room in the house with 2 speakers mounted in the ceiling and a small control panel.  All the speakers/control panels are wired and run back to the main Hi-Fi2 control box.  The main control box has numerous audio inputs allowing you to select (via the small control panel in each room) from multiple line-in sources (e.g. amplifier, iPhone, CD player, etc.) .  My questions: Is there a Sonos product that could be used to replace the HAI Hi-Fi2 box, but still use the existing speakers?  I’m assuming the Sonos App would replace the individual control panels.  Would I still have the option to connect and select from multiple line-in sources? Is this a DIY installation or do I need a professional?  (I am comfortable with computers, networks, hand/power tools and can follow instructions).A
