I know with an adapter to the usb c port I can have a wired connection to my turntable. But if I have a bluetooth enabled turntable can I pair with an Era speaker similar to the feature on Roams?
I am missing the option to add a title from seach view to the actual player at the end of the plalist or the “play next” option.I only see the option to add a title to a seperate stored playlist or to play the tile right now.I am working with the Android S2 app
I turn on the tv connected via hdmi to sonos beam 2 in dolby configuration with 2 ikea synphonisk. everything works perfectly but after about 15/20 minutes the audio stops for 20 seconds, after 20/30 minutes it fixes the problem again, then it doesn't do it again. the problem occurs with and without the ikea satellites connected, i tried to shut down the system, i updated the system to the latest version but the problem is always present.
I recently swapped the Beam in my lounge for an Arc and a Sub, moving the Beam to the smaller family room which, unbeknownst to my wife, was always my secret plan! The sound from the Arc + Sub is amazing - even my wife described it as ‘more soulful’.I have two Play 1 (S2 app compatible) that I am considering adding as surrounds but not sure with the layout of my lounge whether it is worth it.As you can see from the rough drawing, the TV is in the corner with Arc directly below it and Sub in position A. On movie nights all chairs are used, so I was thinking of placing surrounds in position B and C to try and cover all the room. Would that work? Any advice greatly appreciated.
I have an LG tv and a Sonos Beam in full surround sound config. This forces the TV to change the Sound Out menu to “HDMI ARC” When I change the Sound Out menu to “Internal TV Speaker” it immediately changes back to “HDMI ARC” This is not good for watching TV at night. This means that the ARC signal is Sonos led. Is there a way for the ARC signal to be TV led?
I am looking to purchase the Sony 77" Class - A80CK Series - 4K UHD OLED TV along with the Sonos Amp with 2 Sonance (in ceiling) speakers and 1 subwoofer. I’m planning to use the Sony OLED built in (into the TV screen) speakers as my front sound and use the in in ceiling speakers as my rear sound, enhanced by the subwoofer. My concern is whether or not I will have issues with sound using the Sony Speakers along with my Sonos/Sonance setup? Is it as simple as connecting all devices to the Sonos Amp and I shouldn’t have any issues? Thanks for your direction!
Presently have a number of speakers and a sound bar connected to my SonosNet system.Considering purchasing the new Era 300 as an update to my 2 first generation, Sonos one’s. I understand the new Era 300 doesn’t support SonosNet. Do I therefore have to remove all my speakers and sound bar from SonosNet to WiFi to incorporate the new Era300? If so, how do I do that. Removing the Sonos Boost from the system will automatically allow all my speakers to find WiFi?
I would love to buy a bass mini for my sonos move . Can sonos consider doing this !
Has someone experienced pairing APPLE TV 4K with a couple of SONOS ONE only for audio movie reproduction? Are there synchronism problems? Thanks
Is there any simple way to connect an Amazon Firestick to the Sonos Five? As far as I can tell, it’s not possible without a lot more kit because the Firestick only sends to bluetooth and has no line output. If I’ve got that wrong, please tell me...
Looking for some indication that Sonos is working on M1/M2 support for their desktop app. And BTW I sincerely hope Sonos is planning on feature parity for the desktop app as well.
My home theatre consists of Arc, Sub Gen 3, Sub Gen 2 and 2 Play 1s for the rear. Do I go with the Era 100s or the Era 300s to replace the Play 1s in the rear. Sound, not cost, is the prime concern.
When Sonos Era 300 will be available in India?
Perhaps a question for the Sonos folks.I’m looking to replace a pair of Play 3s in one of my rooms. I’m reluctant to go with Play 5s because of the size. Will two Era 3s be a good alternative? On a related note, if I bought a pair or Era 300s, could I run a phono turntable and CD player into the two available line in ports? Many thanks
Hi all,Sorry in advance for the long post.I’m looking for advice on whether to get the Sonos Arc or the Beam, and this seemed like the best place.Details:My home theater currently consists of movies and TV coming off the internet, and I have music either coming off my phono and/or my other Sonos devices (one One, one One SL, and I have a Connect that I use for legacy stuff). For the home theater (not for the two Sonos speakers), everything goes through a Yamaha receiver (roughly 10 years old) and goes to my “surround sound” setup. Because of the room (we bought everything when we lived in another house) I don’t really use the subwoofer or the center channel speaker much anymore. It’s in the living room (roughly 14 ft. x 16 ft), with a 10ft. flat ceiling. The house is from the early 1900’s, so the walls are plaster. Within the room are a couch, loveseat, upholstered wingback chair, two sets of large drapes, books, and a rug. We’re getting a 55” inch Atmos-enabled TV (48” on the bottom)
HiDespite checking Windows 10 firewall allows private access to Sonos controller and Sonos library, I am still geting "Unable to play 'xyz.mp3' - unable to conect to //room/userSometimes it works, sometimes doesn't. Has anybody had this?
I have a home theater with the arc, 2 ones, and a sub. I had the setup for a few months and haven't heard sound coming from the sub. The sub is connected, the white light is on on the sub, and I've set the sub level to +15. What am I missing here? Is there a way to test the sub to produce a sound?
I have an old system with ZP80s, ZP100s and 2 CR100s. I have not updated the firmware on my system since Sonos announced they would no longer support the CR100.Most of the time, I listen to my favorite radio station through TuneIn. A couple of days ago, I tried to listen to my favorite station and got the following message“Unable to browse music - there was a problem connecting to TuneIn.” I knew this was coming, but was hoping it would happen after I take my dirt nap.I ran upstairs to my Windows computer and launched the old version of the Sonos controller and was able to use TuneIn to listen to my favorite radio station.Every once in a while, I now get a commercial coming through my Sonos from TuneIn. They are local commercials and fairly annoying. Please note, I am not complaining about anything. It’s just a sad fact that the things we were told about our old CR100s is coming to fruition.I can get around the TuneIn supplied commercials with a blue tooth gizmo and an antiquated c
I have a new Samsung QN75Q80B TV and a Sonos Arc sound bar. The sound bar is connected via eARC. In order to get the Sonos sound bar to play, it must be the only HDMI port in use at the time the TV is turned on. I can then connect my Spectrum cable box to any of the remaining HDMI ports and Sonos will remain as my sound output. All is well with TV and/or cable functionality. However, if I turn off the TV and later turn back on with everything connected, I will not be able to select Sonos as my sound output, it keeps reverting back to TV speakers and will not allow me to select Sonos. This situation will remain constant until I disconnect the Spectrum cable box HDMI cable and re-initialize the Sonos as the selected sound output. The Sonos sound bar begins emitting sound as norm. Then, I can reconnect the Spectrum cable box HDMI and everything is back to norm. I shouldn't have to be disconnecting and reconnecting the Spectrum HDMI cable each time I turn off/turn on the TV.
Having just read all about the new Sonos Era 100 I am unsure if I add one to my existing system, will I be able to stream a bluetooth device throughout the whole house? Any ideas?
I recently added a second hand Sub to my Beam. To begin with it would not connect to my Asus TUF-AX5400 WiFi router. I then connected with ethernet cable and finished reset and setup with the Beam. However I do not want to use cables, so I switched to WiFi and disconnected the cable. The Sub reconnected and so far everything works perfect.. My question is that when I look at connected Clients with my Asus app, The Sub shows up as disconnected, but it´s working fine. If I check with the Sonos app, it shows that Beam and Sub is connected. Why is that? Just curious :-)
I'm sure it will work, but I'm curious if anybody knows if the era 300's will work as surrounds with an arc and dual subs config? Again I'm sure it will, just wanna have that confirmed.
So….… Last Saturday(09/12/20), all of a sudden, I was able to control Sonos from the Lock Screen on my iPhone. It worked on mine and my wife’s phone. When we woke up Sunday morning, it was gone. Sonos. Make it work, we are tired of waiting. *Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the community guidelines.*
I’m sad to say that after the issues I’ve had with my sub underperforming. Ordering a new one and that not been any better. I’am going to leave the Sonos home theatre ownership. I will be returning the sub I just purchased the rest on a well know auction site. The service from Sonos as been shocking. Just copy and paste answers. The big question is… what next?
I'm thinking of buying SONOS sub (Gen.3).Can I send Music from my iPhone to SONOS sub (Gen.3) directly via 'AirPlay 2'? for Example:iPhone SE → SONOS sub (Gen.3)iPhone SE → HomePods and SONOS sub (Gen.3)without Other Sonos items. Moderator edit: combined posts
