I only have the Roam speaker. Trying to download the app and need specific app name in IOS app store. I just plan to use the Roam while playing golf, so need a simple app. Or, do I need a Sonos app at all? have no subscriptions and don’t plan any. What is simplest way to stream music from my iPhone?

You need to download the Sonos app to set up the Roam on your home’s Wi-Fi network. Then when you take the Roam when you golf, connect to the Roam using Bluetooth:
