Do yall have any recessed speakers that doesn’t require speaker wire to the speakers 

I am starting from a scratch. In one room we have four speaker wires to a central location. In the other room we have two speaker wires to a central location and want to add a sound bar. Where do I start? Sonos is clearly the best. What equipment do I need for a wired system? How much space will I need for any amp or similar? Thank you!

Afternoon all. Have an opportunity (at last) to upgrade a listening room and will be going with ERA 300’s and ARC Ultra.Lots of bracketry options but has been a while since bought any. It’s a room that is going to totally renovated and cosmetics as well as practicalities are important. Interested in your suggestion, recommendations and experience as to what the best looking and functioning white bracketry would be please?I’m keen to all the fitting and messy stuff before the nice purchases later year. So getting the right infrastructure and hardware to sit underneath is useful to do now at the drilling and channelling stage.Appreciate any input and advice you have. Many thanks

I know how to go in and clear queues for each speaker/group but my question is if there is a way to quickly clear ALL queues in the system and ungroup all speakers - almost like a system “reset” but not affecting settings or anything like that. Just untrue and reset all speakers to nothing playing and no queue. Thanks!

Can we please get center channel control on the Arc Ultra, it’s currently set 4-6dB too loud! Which makes it so loud over music and any panning vocals or voices.

I’m trying to get better sound balance without cluttering the room. Any placement tips that worked well for you?

So the latest App release for IOS (81.00.52) says that it now includes re-intstatement of the much requested ‘save your queue as a playlist’.However, having updated both App and Sonos system I am still none the wiser as to how this can be achieved.  I tried tapping on the ‘queue’ icon at the bottom left of the now playing screen.  This displays the queue, but no new controls have been added to the queue screen (still just shuffle, repeat, and clear).Anyone have any ideas how the queue can be saved?Is it buried away in some other sub-menu somewhere? 

I just got a Sonos Line-In Adapter which I want to use to attach between the analog line out of a small radio and a laptop. I then want to pass the signal through the laptop to a bluetooth amp.I started out first just trying to get the signal to the laptop and selecting the audio capture device with VLC. I had just one option on the drop down list, hw,0,0.  I selected that and could hear the signal with earphones and it sounded OK.I later ran into some issues making the bluetooth connection and it looks to be an issue with a missing dependency. I tried a number of suggestions and uninstalled and reinstalled some drivers, etc. It still doesn’t connect to the amp via bluetooth.I went back to VLC and the signal from the radio through the Sonos adapter. I noticed two things. First there was lots of static and noise and I could hear the signal, but it was very weak. I also noticed in the drop down box there were two options listed, hw,0,0 and hw1,0. Apologies if this has been asked before, but I can’t find a thread which answers my question.I have a holiday property with a number of Sonos speakers, controlled by some old iphones set in kiosk mode, so guests can use the sonos app (and nothing else).Whilst this works ok, I prefer to have the app in a ‘logged out’ state, as I don’t want guests fiddling with updates or changing any settings. - this has happened before :-(The issue I have is with alarms, as an alarm can’t be set without the app prompting the user to log in. - I wondered if there was a work around for thisA ‘guest mode’ with limited functionality would solve this issue, but this doesn’t seem to be an option

I have Sonos amps running waterproof speakers in the bathroom / shower rooms which I control with  flic buttons. Ie press the button once and it plays a predetermined playlist. Double press stops the track. Long press switches to another playlist,  Is there anyway to make these playlists play randomly without going into the app. I’d just like the playlist to start on a different track each time rather than hear the same 2 or 3 songs every time ? thanks David 

Please can Sonos deliver functionality to allow the same speakers to be configured differently for Music and TV playback.I have era 300’s and a Beam.I want to have a preset grouping for a stereo pair (era 300’s) for musicandA preset grouping for Surround era 300’s + Beam for tv. I thought I might be able to do this by creating to ‘rooms’.. Loung TV / Lounge Music…. but it will only allow the speakers to belong to one room grouping. This can’t be achieved currently and would be a massive positive. When I play music with all three speakers (even when in ‘full’ mode - it doesn’t sound anywhere as near as good as the two era’s as a stereo pair).

My setup is a Beam and Era 300’s ( no sub) in surround sound mode in one room . In other rooms, I have Era 100’s. I woudl like to add an AT-LP3XBT turntable to the mix.I could direct connect the turntable to the Beam, but not the other speakers. Is it possible to:Direct connect the Beam and through it include all of the other speakers? Wirelessly do the same thing? Other alternative?

If I provide a photo of the room I want to purchase a system for, could you recommend the best options/setup?

Wondering if Sonos ever improved their Android app?  I haven’t been forced to do any updates but honestly haven’t used my system much since the app destroyed my listening experience.  Sonos was not responsive to my concerns.  The old app worked perfectly.

hello, there is conflcting information online that sonos beam 1st gen is compatible to the latest SONOS APP, the black icon they call S2 - does anyone have the 1st gen Beam working on the latest Sonos App? any comments appreciated - thanks PS i do have a mixture of early sonos products and the new ones Arc Ultra / FIVE and trying to connect the Beam to this network

Best way to tune Beam gen2 with 2 Era 100 using Android.

Hi, I’m looking for some advice on what system and setup will be best for the space below please.I’m thinking Era 100’s where the green circles are and an Arc for the TV area in the yellow. The 100’s would be a mixture of wall mounted and worktop placed.I’m not keen on the location near the sink, this would be wall mounted above a light switch. I’m concerned how it would look but I’m thinking this would give a better coverage for the island and kitchen with the other speaker across from it than the shelving area. I’m also unsure of the one located by the TV area. I think it would physically become an obstruction.I considered ceiling speakers but have the children’s bedrooms above the main part of the space and have read they do not perform as well as wall mounted speakers.I’m looking to get a good coverage across the main areas of the room, kitchen, island, dining table and TV area for music. I’m not looking to use a surround sound for the TV but would be good if there was a way to par
