HiMy current system is listed below together the dates acquired. I am considering adding, for example, an ERA 100 or a Roam 2 and I'd like to understand if the new speakers would integrate with my existing configuration. Also, would I need to use the S2 app for the new speaker(s) and would the items below be compatible?Bridge 06/2012Connect 06/20123 x Play 1 02/2014Play bar 09/2014Sub (Gen 2) 10/2016ThanksBryan
Hi I have just brough a Roam 2 and really impressed. I would like to further enhance the sound . What would be the best way to go ? Either going for another Roam 2 unit or for a more powerful Move II . What would be the best combination ?
So I have a 3 speaker system in my restaurant, all Play 1s. The speaker nearest to the router is wired the other two are connected by SonosNet and are 5m and 10m away from the wired speaker with line of sight. All speakers mounted at ceiling height approximately 2.5m.The system works fine when it’s not so busy but in the evening the wireless speakers cut out once we get probably more than 15 people in the restaurant and I am left with only the wired speaker playing. I have tried so many things and it’s driving me insane. The router is a BT Smart Hub 2. What I have tried so far :Raising the router to ceiling heightDisabling the 5Ghz bandDisabling guest wifiTried all 3 modes on the routerFactory reset my speakers and reset the systemRebooted the routerDeleting and reinstalling the appSwapping speakers around It would be a pain to wire all the speakers but that will be my final thing to do if all else fails. Are my speakers outdated and would newer ones solve the problem or is it totally
I am looking at purchasing a 83-85” tv. I currently have a samsung QN85Q70TAFXZA 4k Smart (2023). I have had a lot of problems with it switching tv speakers randomly. I have eventually got it to work semi consistently. From what I can gather LG and sony tv’s tend to have the least issues when working with the sonos arc. I am wondering if there are any particular LG models or series that considered “problem free” when it comes to working with sonos arc?
Since 2011 I have been a loyal Sonos customerThen they upgraded and left me out in the coldMy Sonos products from 1211 are unreliable. They function and don’t function. Very frustrating.A 15% discount is not helpful since I spent over $1000 in Sonos’s equipmentThat now doesn’t work as it’s supposed towill not buy a Sonos product unless they give us a big big discount
I have the playbar, play on and play 3 speakers. When we originally bought the speakers I was able to download an app on my phone and was able to get the speakers working. I was able to control them from my phone. We eventually removed the app from my phone, but when I reinstalled it, I could no longer get the speakers to sinc. I believe that these speakers now require some sort of upgrade?? Our playbar is the only speaker connected now to the TV, I don’t want to lose that connection. What do I do to get everything working again.I dont really want to buy new speakers as I cannot afford them now
Which eligible upgrade items receive a 30% off upgrade credit? I checked all my items, and they receive a 15%, upgrade credit, despite some being from 2015. You would think that any item that can no longer receive updates would be a candidate. I realize that the blast email sent out said “up to a 30% upgrade credit”. Just wondering how old, or which items specifically, meet the criteria for the 30% upgrade credit. Thank you.
I currently use a Sonos Arc setup with two Sonos Subs in the same room, and the improvement in bass distribution is fantastic. However, in larger rooms or more acoustically challenging environments, the ability to add a third (or even fourth) Sub would be extremely valuable.I’d love to see Sonos expand the current limitation and allow more than two Subs in a single zone. This would open up new possibilities for advanced home theater setups and professional installations. Is this something Sonos is considering for future updates? I know many users with larger spaces would benefit from this flexibility.
I recently purchased the in line 3.5mm headphone to usb-c adaptor so could connect my headphones to the Apple 16 iPhone. However, it does not work. The sound just plays on the phone. Have I purchased the wrong adaptor
Bonjour j’aimerais un pack surround dans mon salon avec labarre de son arc, un hub et j’hésite entre des era 100 ou era 300. Ma pièce fait 36 m2 (salle salon )
Well it has happened again. Tunein will not work with sonos. I have been having the problem for about a week now. This happened about a year ago also. Anytime I try to connect to any tune in station or podcast I get commercials on a loop. Deleting account, reathorizing does nothing.Same old sonos, same old garbage !!
Hi Sonos,I’m experiencing the same issue that user CarlDemus mentioned with the Sonos Arc.I honestly didn’t expect this kind of sound quality concern from Sonos. Compared to my 65" Samsung TV speakers, the Arc’s sound comes across as thin. I really noticed the difference when I compared it side-by-side with my Bose Smart Soundbar 700. The Bose was connected using an optical cable, and the Sonos Arc through HDMI eARC, so I could switch between them instantly. To be honest, the difference is significant. At 40% volume on the Bose and 75% on the Sonos Arc, the Bose still sounds fuller and richer. It makes me wonder if my Sonos Arc might be defective. One night, I turned off the Arc and continued watching using the TV’s built-in speakers — and the TV sounded louder and more present. That was extremely disappointing, especially after seeing so many positive reviews online. At this point, I’m frustrated and unsure if this is a unit issue or a general sound profile characteristic of the Arc. Hi everybody, we are conducting extensive renovations on our house and I thought having a pair of the 152mm sonos architectural speakers in the ceiling of the bathroom would be a good idea. The issue is- although the bathroom is quite spacious with 3m high ceilings it does feature a shower and a larger bathtub. We did include an automated fan and exhaust system, but I am worried about the humidity damaging the speakers.Does anyone have experience installing these ceiling speakers in bathrooms? Is it possible or would the speakers get damaged?
I have a big elongated room with 6 speakers (high school youth group room). There's an 85in TV on one side of the room. We are running the 6 50w speakers off the sono amps (3per channel). Does it make sense to add a Sonos Beam under the TV to use exclusively for TV sound and let the Sonos Amp power the 6 overhead for music/etc?
How do I connect a Bose dock to a play 5? I have 3.5 audio cable but nothing is working. I use line in on play 5 for a turntable, do I need to link Bose dock somehow?
I am looking at changing my TV currently I have a Samsung QLED and recall when first linking it up to Sonos it was quite a chore. I have heard Sony is the best for Sonos for ease and quality would this be true.
Dearcan i connect Sonos Zp 100 with Sonos sub If do how does it pl
HelloMy topic title might sound stupid, but I have never had a sub woofer before, so don’t really know what to expect.I just bought a Beam Gen 2 and Mini Sub.Connected the Beam to TV and I CAN hear the difference compared to only the TV speakers. The Sub Mini arrived a few days later, positioned it 2 metres to the right of the Beam/TV. I think I have set up the Mini Sub correctly, white light is on.Put on some heavy metal music from You Tube…….and I don’t think there is any difference!! 😕 Question - is there a way to flick the Mini Sub on and off while listening to music, so I can see if there is a difference??Any other suggestions to ‘test’ the Sub Mini?
Why I cannot use the forward button with calm radio. I only have stop option available
MVH Stefan Larsson
I have a Play 5 that I want to connect to my Port (via RCA cable) which is connected to a turntable as the source. Doing so I hear no output from the Play 5 speaker. Do I need to connect an amplifier between the Port and the Play 5? I am trying to find a use for my Play 5 since it is an older model and not compatible with the newer equipment I have. The Port correctly broadcasts to my other Sonos speakers in the house. I thought I could hardwire the Play 5 and use it as well. No?
Hello! I have a feature request - front left and front right channels. I think the wider sound stage will sound better, and Sonos can sell us more speakers in the process :) Hopefully it’s implemented in a way that gives us options like using all drivers vs turning off redundant drivers. But the important thing is we retain that option (much like full vs ambient sound for surrounds.) Thanks!
I can NOT believe i have spent hundreds and hundreds of pounds on the new Sonos move 2 and two roam speakers only to find out they cant be played at the same time via bluetooth using my iPhone 16 pro max what an absolute JOKE !!!! So unhappy
I a great vinyl collection that I originally had connected to a Denon AVR, def tech speakers and sub, and an audio technica turntable. It sounded very good, but I wanted to go wireless for a lot of reasons. I gave the speakers and receiver to my daughter and replaced them with 2 Sonos ONE SL’s, Beam, and Sub Mini. It didn’t occur to me that they weren’t Bluetooth compatible. Now I have all these great albums but no ability to play them since the Sonos aren’t Bluetooth compatible. I’m open to buying a new receiver but am not sure which one to buy. Any ideas?
Is it true that the iOS app and the soundbar have to use the same SSID even 2 SSIDs are on the same network?
