Hello!Just bought Arc Ultra and hit a problem, probably, with a broken speaker, producing crackling sound at a certain frequencies on the right side. I've asked Sonos Support and they have, after a long conversation, escalated the issue higher to some technical team. It's been more than two weeks now, and I still got no response, however I have contacted support several times, they never were able to say when that technical team will contact me.The product is quite new, I should have 30 days free return warranty - maybe I should request returning the product instead of hoping on sonos support to do a warranty case?I have a case number, but cannot do anything to check its status. Kind of a weird situation, especially considering that the product already came defective to me.What should I do?The Arc Ultra was bought as a part of a TV bundle with two era 100s, they work fine. Will I be able to return just Arc alone?Any help is appreciate

Hello,I have started to plan my speaker setup for my living room. Instead of a TV I am gonna have a projector since there is the perfect wall for it. I don’t own any Sonos products yet so I don’t know their limitations and so on.Problem is that the projector is gonna be about 3 meters up in the ceiling 6 meters away from a wall. I don’t want to pull any cables from my projector and all the way to the soundbar (if I’m gonna have a soundbar) so I’ve been thinking about using a Sonos AMP instead with HDMI ARC.If it turns out that I would like to use a soundbar, can I use the Projector and connect it to the Sonos Amp and wirelessly play on the soundbar? Or could I create my own 5.1 system using Eras?Or… Is there a better way to do this. At one point I had an idea about using the Ray as a connection point for multiple Eras but that seems to be hard to make it work since it’s designed to be a master? or am I missing something. I hope someone can s

I have a fairly unique use case and I’m having trouble finding the right solution. Application: A mobile (portable) campervan setup, audio will be transmitted mostly via Airplay 2/Bluetooth from a portable projector and the content will majority be streamed TV shows with compressed audio. Van is appromately 150sf in it’s entirety but speaker would be placed directly in front of viewers, mounted at ear level and at about a 4’ distance away. Viewing will all be indoors. Goal: A portable, easy to setup/take down, speaker(s) that can do a decent job presenting dialogue and a decent cinema experience when necessary.I realize there aren’t any single (or at worse 2) speakers that are going to reproduce anything close to a home theatre experience so I’m going for the best I can get.Speakers I’ve looked at;Sonos Beam Gen 2Sonos Move 2Sonos Era 300Sonos FiveSonos Era 100 (pair) I’ve only heard in person the Beam Gen

recently purchased an Arc and replaced my beam. Everything states the same by using physical Ethernet to connect all devices. However, after I set up the surround sound, I noticed those rear Sonos ones behind me getting cutting sound. Can we please get center channel control on the Arc Ultra, it’s currently set 4-6dB too loud! Which makes it so loud over music and any panning vocals or voices.

Probably elementary, but I’m from the vinyl age.  I’ve set up a pair of Roam2 for use with my home Sonos system.  If I take them when I travel and connect them with another device, will I then have to set them up again for my home system when I return.

I am thinking about buying Ace but as I understand it the home theatre must be on wifi?  I have my soundbar hardwired with ethernet, so does that mean Ace won’t work for listening to TV through Sonos Ace?

Has anyone else had persistent problems with Gen 1 speakers and the playback from Spotify?I've had issues with Spotify pausing at the start then again mid songs/podcasts/audiobooks as if buffering and stopping at the end of some tracks. I reached out to support awhile back who checked my setup (Play 5.1) from their end and said it was wifi interference as Spotify 'uses a lot of data'. I had it set to play back at the lowest quality and it would still do it. The speaker was 3m line of sight from the router. Using a bridge was slightly better. Was suggested I use an ethernet cable. Spotify played fine on my phone and PC even if 25+ meters away in the garden (on wifi). Makes you wonder how much data Spotify uses when 4k movies stream flawlessly...I found a solution. Ditch the genocide funding Spotify and use Tidal. Tidal pay the artist about 4x as much as Spotify. I’ve got about 10 rooms of Sonos.  Have held off updating to S2 for a couple of years due to all the negative feedback on S2 and there being no compelling reason to upgrade.Spotify Lossless finally provides something that makes me want to do the upgrade.But I can’t seem to find anything that gives me the detail as to the current functionality differences between the 2 apps.  I see lots of historic stuff about not being able to search local libraries, edit the queue etc, as well as problems like lagging volume changes and speakers dropping out.Is there a good comparative list of functionality differences that anyone could point me too, and/or an up to date thread on usability?Thanks

Enjoying my new Sonos 5.1 setup playing music remastered with Spatial (7.1) mix. The Atmos overhead channels are missing but what surround goodness that's decoded is interesting. The sound stage is either a 70's 'Quadrophonic' thing with lots of swirling motion and panning. Or with classical, it drops you inside the orchestra (as a member) with the violin section behind you and low brass in front. Very different from  'I'm sitting in the audience' staging.I like the depth and effect for movies so why not music? Well, it still is kinda weird to me. Almost distracting hearing the stuff they remastered into a mix that never was mixed for 7.1. Like remixing makes what was intended more better by blowing it out in some sorta spatial dimension. I confess some new stuff mastered first as 7.1 and yeah, Pink Floyd tunes sound pretty cool. Will there be a transition for most music out there to be remastered? I dunno, but Dolly and Johnny should be left in two-dimension

I used my upgrade credit a while back for my play 5. Still have the device, am I able to give to someone else to use or can it only be put in the bin?  

One of my Sonos Five pair just spontaneously died after just a little over two years. Just outside the warranty. It will not turn on. This happened while in standby during the night.  Both Sonos and the local reseller act as though its expected and normal. And are not interested in fixing or replacing the 2 yo speaker.Im told the speaker cannot be fixed, only replaced. I have also found comments online saying this malfunction is not uncommon - but i cannot corroborate that.  Does anyone have any experience with Five going dead after two years?and was anybody able to find the magic words to say to Sonos to make them own up to this disgrace rather than sending you off to buy a new one with a shameful discount of 30% like a cheap brand?Also, does anybody know if there are  repair labs that can benefit from the almost brand new working parts (other than Sonos themselves)?

Want to make use of two of my old Sonos Play:1 to connect to a Fire Stick. What are my options? I cant really use HDMI as the Firestick is in my projector which is ceiling mounted. Could perhaps use a line in and run a long 3.5mm or use a bluetooth adapter. But going to need something to interface with the Play:1’s as they have no line in.
