Well, ever since the NEW APP came out, my pair of Roam Speakers would cut in and out when grouped to my Beam...ONLY when listening to anything from the TV Source.It was suggested that my wireless system could be the issue. Never understood this as I would never have issues when grouped, listening to audio from the Sonos Controler.Now...now my Roam Speakers are useless. Utterly Useless. I started losing volume on the Roams when grouped yesterday, again with my Beam and again while listening via the TV Source. I can set the volume and then leave the App, only to have the volume level drop from 60 to 0. It started slowly but NOW I am unable to group my Roam speakers due to this zero volume level thing going on now constantly. They are not useless...not too bad as book ends…I specifically purchased the Roam believing I could group these to my existing system to listen to both TV Source Audio along with other audio sources.I find that this system is glitchy at best with a downright poor cus

Recently bought a Sonos Move and Ray, trying to connect them to the app, the app recognizes the devices, asks for the WiFi password, but when the sync is done the app show the error 1101 (couldn’t find any updates) and after that the app lets the devices begin configured in the home place, but when it finishes the “place configuration” it doesn’t appear in the app. I have tried all the steps in the Sonos guides, rebooted both devices and also the router but the problem is not solved, please help

Hi All,I am using the S 2 App - it has been working fine but..My two Sono 5 speakers have started being only available from within the Sonos App. Their volume control is also erratic. I have reloaded the app, done factory resets, added speaker routine, gone thru the sound PIN routine, added the wifi password and reached the screen where it says the speaker is connected. However it says - If it does not appear in the system then power the speaker off and on and it will appear.When I go to the system in the app indeed it is not there. When I power the speaker off and on it is still not there. And when I try adding I get the “I don’t see my product” message. Back to factory reset for the green led to find the speaker …. around we go again…Any thoughts or advice would be welcomed. The S 1 App which I tried as an alternative says that my speakers are S2 compatible, but gives the option to downgrade to S 1. Should I try that?Thanks

The Sonos app continues to drop out during tv playback. It is extremely frustrating and makes what used to be a great product, totally crap and frustrating to use. Sonos support does not provide solutions just what should like AI garbage.  I have found that turning the tv off and on with the video paused seems to re-establish playback to the Sonos beam, but this is crap and frustrating w then compared to a product that used to work seamlessly.

My Sonos Era 100 works well, except when it lost its connection to Bluetooth appliances (I connect its Bluetooth to my Sharp Android TV), it keeps trying to connect with annoying chimes. It’s really annoying.  I tried to search answer on how to turn off the Bluetooth sound, but there are only two answers:Enable Idle-Auto Disconnect option from Sonos app. But it will only turn off the chimes after 30 minutes it lost its connection.   Turn the volume down. Only work if I don’t use the speaker. My question is, isn’t there really any way to disable the Bluetooth chiming sound right away? This is hard to believe that this problem is overlooked by Sonos.  cheers,w

I have just rebooted my play 3 , app says it’s not registered , I can’t seem to add it to the system I get to the point where your asked to press flashing button nothing happens ! the play 3 is connected to router with an Ethernet cable 

I am trying to add Sonos One Gen2 to my Sonos app. However, every time I try to add it, it fails at the firmware update. It tried a second time, and fails again. It allows me to continue, but the Sonos isn’t added to the Sonos app to manage.  -I’ve rebooted my modem -I’ve rebooted the Sonos -I’ve rebooted my phone -I’ve reset the app-I’ve factory reset the Sonos one gen 2 -I’m as close as I can get to the modem, I’ve also tried disabling the 5Ghz antenna-I’ve signed out and in of the Sonos appI can’t get the Sonos added to my app no matter what I do. Please help.

Hello, For some time i have issues while updating my home setup. I have two Era 300, Arc, and Sub (v3) setup. All equipment are in same room as my router but one speaker of Era 300 and Sub is not updating. (With new app i got error 1000, but same issues i had and with old app). One way to get workaround on this is to remove surround, hard reset non updating equipment and then re-add to my system. In this case on initial setup it ask for update and updates completes. Then i can add it back to surround. But this is frustraiting as i have to do this every time plus trueplay setup is lost. Please advise on this.

We have our ensuite and bedroom speakers set up on the same amp, the smaller speaker in the bedroom sounds great, the one in the bedroom sounds like the base has been lost, sounds awful and quiet…help.

Have play 1 and 3 and move.move connects but not 1 or3

I’m having an issue where I have a group created but often the new app shows the source as trying to play music but I have my TV selected. The TV is playing through the ARC and Sub but when I try to have the TV Audio play through a grouping that includes the ERA100, ARC, and Sub no audio at all. It started after the app was updated.

Hi I have a Sonos PLAY:5 Model S100 which is not found by my iPhone Sonos app despite many attempts. The Sonos speaker has worked earlier using my present router but, has stopped working. I have a fast internet connection and I am using a ASUS RT-AX57 router.I have done factory reset on Sonos speaker according to the instructions as well as restarting the router. I tried both a direct ethernet connection and wifi between router and speaker without success. My Asus router app shows the Sonos speaker as offline. Bluetooth is enabled and working on my Iphone. What is really odd is that Sonos app (latest version) succeeds in discovering the speaker in about 1 in 15 attempts. It proceeds through the chimes but, ends with the error message in the vain of 'the product can not be connected to your account' .What can I do?Best Regards John   

I am experiencing multiple problems with my Sonos speakers. Randomly dropping out of system, volume not working or adjusting correctly, unable to show queue, usic shown as playing on mobile phone but nothing coming through speakers . Are these common issues and is there any solutions. 

Da die Sonos player 5 kein Bluetooth besitzt, versuche ich sie über das Audiokabel mit meinem Handy zu verbinden. Auch einen Bluetooth-Adapter, der einen Audiostecker hat, habe ich schon versucht. Beides funktioniert leider nicht. Was mache ich falsch? When I play at 80-100% of the volume level, sonos reduce the volume when the drops come. I don’t understand why and how can I deactivate this?

Just bought my first Sonos Ray , installed the app(s2) get to the part were Ray is to connect to my Bt hub but  refuses as app needs updated. I have tried but app not updating, no connection it says. How do I get around this problem?Old man aged 68! Help,

Hey, I have 2x Sonos Play 1 speakers and 1x gen 1 Sonos sub that I had in a single room setup setup at my old house before I moved what worked fine.I recently moved location and obviously now have a new wifi network/connection that the speakers did not recognise so I factory reset all speakers back to stock and reconnected to a new Sonos account with a different email to the original setup.I’ve managed to connect one of the speakers to the new account and set it up as a room via wired internet to the router and it works fine ands plays music via spotify.Now the problem starts when I try to add additional speakers to this this setup.The Sonos app detects the additional factory reset play speaker and proceeds to communicate with it and then tells me i need to update the speaker. It proceeds to try and update the speaker and then instantly fails and gives me error code 1002.I’ve tried resetting the speaker and powering the wifi on or off with the basic troubleshooting but doesn't make any
