I got a Sonos Arc from USA. I know the device itself switches to 220V (range 110-240V) but the power cable is rated 125V. Can I use the same power cable in India (220V) or should I get a new power cable from India
I’m a bit surprised that Sonos would supply original cables that are only rated to 125V, but if the cable is clearly marked as having that rating, I would change it for one with an appropriate rating for your country.
I should add that there should be no issue with load rating. If there is an issue it would be with the quality of insulation (though to say again, it seems unlikely Sonos would skimp in that respect).

Just plug it in to the mains socket, using an adapter if needed to make the physical connections. It will work as long as it is not under the shadow of all the chaos going on within the world of Sonos software. Assuming here that the power cable is one supplied by Sonos, in the original unopened packaging.
It did work! But curious about the chaos in world of Sonos software now - how can I learn more?
