Am unable to link my Sonos One SL to the new app. Tried everything: switch off, reset, any kind of search, using the older app Sonos 1.What should I do?In other way, would like to upgrade my only speaker to a hi-fi set. Thinking of purchasing another speaker compatible with Sonos One SL and… what? a subwoofer, a mini, a bar? Would be grateful about any advise
Hello fellow Sonos friends:Does the original Sonos Arc work well as a room speaker? I’m thinking about a new TV setup (probably with either a new Sonos Arc Ultra, or a Sony Bravia Theater Quad) and thinking about potential other uses for my original Sonos Arc.I have an Ikea Kallax shelf in a different room, and 20” of clearance from the top of the shelf to a ceiling overhang. Would the Arc work well in this position? I’d be using it just for music.Do I understand correctly that the upfiring speakers are not active with music playback? Or is this enabled/disabled via Spatial Music setting in the Sonos app?
Want to remove 2 era 100 that I thought I could use as front surrounds with my Arc. I want to give them as a gift and I can’t if they are registered to me.
Hi, thinking of upgrading from SL one to era 300. Considering buying two Era 300 and doing stereo pair. Challenge is that I want to put them on the window sill, and the diameter there is about 5 inches, which work well for the SL one but may be too small for the Era 300. See pictures attached. Do you think I can still place the 300s there? Green circles are where I’d be locating the speakers (and where I currently have the Ones now). I don’t feel like putting them on stands as I don’t think the area would look good. Alternatively, considering the Five, which would fit well.Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks.
I cannot believe you guys removed the optical input on the Arc Ultra. I had a playbar (which function just dandy by the way) with optical input and bought your hype about how much better the arc Ultra is and I’d get a discount to upgrade. You neglected to mention that the optical input from my system would no longer function and I basically bricked my entire freaking system because I have a Samsung Frame that connects to its controller 25 ft away and brings in optical back to the speaker. You EVEN CHANGED THE FREAKING POWER PLUG and I had to tear my whole TV off the wall just to change out the damn power cord. WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING!?!?!? Guys I can’t begin to tell you how pissed I am right now. I’m going to have to call the sound people who set this up and pay HUNDREDS of dollars just to straighten this crap out. I swear I would love to get my hands on the genius who did this. Especially without putting it ANYWHERE to warn people.
Hello,I have a pair of Era 300 connected in a stereo pair and a Sub Gen 3 added to that. The problem I’m experiencing is when connecting to LG OLED C2 via Bluetooth the sound drops from the left Era speaker for a couple of seconds every minute or so.I tried resetting the speaker (unplugging for a while and reconnect) and applied all the available software updates, but no luck yet.How can I fix it?Cheers
I would like to connect the soundbar Beam with the speaker Move 2. Is it possible?
Bonsoir ma playbar fait un bruit bizarre J'ai l'impression que un haut parleur est HS Un petit woofer côté droit...

Hello, I’m not sure if this bug has been reported here or not so I’m just doing my due diligence so this can get fixed (soon hopefully). Something like this happens: Select Move Gen 1Set up Stereo PairBoth speakers connectListen for chime coming from Left or Right SpeakerSelect Left or Right SpeakerSetting up Stereo pair loading bar appearsThen once it’s connected the speaker with the chime coming from it dosnt play music the other one does. They are both connected and seen as a stereo pair on the app.I don’t have a video of this happening but I can get a video next time I try to configure the stereo pair of Sonos Move Gen 1. Hopefully this can get resolved soon as the Move are great speakers and would love to experience them as a pair! They’ve been functional in the past but now seem to have this issue when pairing. Thank you have a nice weekend. Zach
As a loyal Sonos customer for seven years, I can't help but feel frustrated with the quality control and user experience of the app. It's hard to believe how the development team has managed to take what should be a seamless experience and turn it into a series of headaches. Your speakers should connect flawlessly to any service or TV system without a hitch, but instead, we're met with constant issues. It's disheartening to see one disappointing update after another, with no end in sight. My heartfelt suggestion? It's time for a complete overhaul of this clunky app. Let’s simplify it and transform it into a sleek, user-friendly experience that truly reflects the quality we expect from Sonos.
Hello I have Sound bar thats connected to a sub, I then have an amp in my kitchen thats connected to wall speakers. For some reason the Tv sound will start randomly playing on the Kitchen Amp speakers for no reason. I will shut it off and uncheck those speakers then randomly again it will start playing at some point. Anyone else have this issue?
Je n'arrive pas à connecter ma sonos Five que je viens d'acheter. A chaque fois j'ai une erreur 801. Une solution ? Moderator Edit: Google Translate - I can't connect my Sonos Five that I just bought. Every time I get an 801 error. Any solution?
Is there any good reason why I could not use the Era 100 speaker outdoors?Have a very small garden. The garden table is just 5-6m from the WiFi booster in the Dining room. Have 4x 13-amp IP-rated sockets in the garden so mains plug-in is not an issue either.I appreciate the Era 100 is not waterproof. But I would only use it in Summer while sat outside. If I could use the Era 100 in the garden then I could either use the one I have in the Study, or buy a second one giving the additional option of pairing them if needs be.It’s also a lot cheaper then the Move 2, which also would need recharging. Thanks in advance of any comments.
I’ve got a brand new Sonos Ray, and I am using it as a computer speaker with my Mac Mini, which has an added soundcard with optical output. Setup was no problem, but I have discovered that if I start streaming Airplay to the Ray, the speaker just will not go back to “TV audio” after streaming is done, which breaks my intended setup and use. I have to go into the Sonos app, disable “TV autoplay” and then immediately enable it again for the Ray to go back to the optical input. Is this really intended behaviour, or am I missing something?
What is error code 1106?
I have had a Sonos system for many years, 9 x Sonos One, 1 x Beam 1 x Era 100 & 1 x roam. I updated a playlist using the old Sonos app, (as we know that isn't a feature the new sonos app affords us!) and since then music drops ALL of the time. I could be playing music with all the sonos one speakers grouped together, and either one of the stereo pairs would drop/ unpair itself ( so only one speaker of the two would play), or one of the single speakers will not play music, although the app shows them as playing music.Sonos spent weeks telling me that it was my wifi, to the extent I was going to leave my internet provider. They told me to wire two speakers into the router, which I did. They also told me to buy a mesh system, which I did… and it still hasn't fixed the issue. What sonos is failing to admit, is that this isn't an issue with my wifi! I can play songs on my speaker without any issues if I airdrop the music to my speakers, not an issue. I primarily use apple music, but I h
Hi everyone,I’m looking for advice on upgrading my Sonos setup. I have a Beam Gen 2 with my TV in a relatively large open-plan space that includes my living room, dining area, and kitchen. I’m considering adding either:2x Era 100 1x or 2x Era 300I’ve read that a pair of Era 300s might be overkill for my needs and that 2x Era 100s might be better for creating a home theater experience. However, I don’t watch movies that often, so home theater isn’t my primary goal. Instead, I’d like to create great overall sound for the space, as I will also use the system to listen to music, podcasts, etc. So I’m wondering if 1x 300 might be better than 2x 100.Additionally, if I go for a pair of speakers (either 100 or 300), does their placement need to follow specific rules considering the home theater (e.g., opposite each other behind the sofa, or next to the TV, etc.)? Would it work if I placed one speaker behind the sofa and another in the kitchen? Or should they always be positioned symmetrically
I run a number of Sonos speakers ( 16) throughout my 3 story home . They are mainly connected through my wireless network. My wireless network consists of 5 WAPS throughout my home and have great connectivity throughout . I have fttp to my home and have a 250/50 NBN plan.my speakers all connect up when I am streaming radio but when I want to stream music from Deezer my speakers cut In and out and I can’t control the volume. I thought this might have something to do with the Sonos app updates as I read this has been not very stable. I live my Sonos system but unfortunately I can’t enjoy all of my various speakers listing to streamed music when I want to .my equipment is2 x arcs - 2 different tv set ups 2 x gen 3 subs4 x Sonos ones 2 x Sonos 52 x Sonos moves2 x Sonos roams2 x Sonos ones1 x Sonos boost hardwired to networkIf anyone has any solutions that would enable me to enjoy my Sonos speakers whilst streaming all music I would greatly appreciate it thank you regards Paul
I reset my Sonos speakers, and now it’s saying no content on my app. I tried resetting the app and the speakers and it’s still not connecting.
I have 10 sonos zones at home. A mix of rooms with everything from single or stereo speakers, to full home theater setups. It crosses over 4 different floors in an old house with a lot of walls. I use Alexa often to initiate playing music, mostly from Spotify.I have a pretty robust EERO mesh Wifi network. And generally, things work. However, I have times when things don’t play. The Sonos App is not responsive. Or I have to ask Alexa multiple times to do things.I was wondering if I should try plugging a few of my Sonos speakers directly into Ethernet. There are a few locations where I can do that. However, I am worried that that puts me into a weird mix of network types.Does anyone have any advice on this concern or my idea?
I have 2x Play 1, Playbar and a Move 2, all were connected to my Wifi network and worked fine until recently when it stated that it could not find any products. I rebooted all products, rebooted my wifi router and still nothing. I followed all the guidance on the Sonos support pages and still unable to connect. When searching for the devices it will find them and say I am connected and then asks for my wifi password, which I am entering correct and says it is unable to connect to the network. Tried, reinstalling the app, restarting my phone and rebooting the router and still the same issue. In the end I had to factory reset all the speakers. I’ve tried setting up a new system and upgrading the network in the app and nothing happens. I contacted Sonos support a couple of days ago to see if they could help and they couldn’t find a solution at the time. I told them I was getting a new broadband provider so they said wait until this is installed and try again. I’ve not done that and still
Hi community I've just swapped my broadband from Sky to Virgin Media (hub5) and I've tried several attempts to get my sonos to connect to the new WiFi and so far I've failed. So far I've tried the following:1. Factory reset the sonos (play 1 - older model)2. Split 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz3. Plug the play1 to the router with a ethernet cable My sonos app (on my phone) can find and connect to the sonos (when setting up a new system) but when it asks me to then connect to the 2.4ghz network it can't connect (and I'm definitely putting the password in correctly!!)Please can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?Screenshot of my hub settings below:
Two of the three speakers are not playing in the group.
I disconnected them as surround speakers. Since then they have not been able to connect to my account. I have tried everything also with PDS cabling. it comes up with the following response:There was a problem connecting to your account or check your WIFI or try again later. Router config. Follows all regulations and it is the only router on the network..
