I have in my Sonos system 1 Sonos Roam, 3 Sonos Play 1, 2 Sonos One Black e 1 Sonos One white. I'm having a problem updating my Sonos One Black (error30). I tried contact by chat and we tried everything (ethernet cable, turning off the router, etc..). We did a factory reset and now I can't add them in my system. It's a firmware problem. I'm from Brazil and I can't complete this call Anyone else having this problem?
Hello teams,I’m wondering to buy 2 ERA 100 for my home.I actually have a Yamaha YAS-207 soundbar (with a Yamaha Subwoofer) connected to my Samsung Smart TV via optical cable. The TV have a wifi connection to my internet box.My questions are: Is it possible to add the 2 Era 100 to this installation in order to simulate a 5.1 Home cinema ?If not (in this case I will sell my yamaha soundbar) , can I use the 2 ERA on my TV in Wi-FI ? Other connection ?Thanks in advance
Hi there - Has anyone noticed the varying sound quality adjustments that seem to come with the regular software updates since last year ? I have got a stereo pair of Era 300s set up as a stereo pair. Placement of these are pretty much in accordance with normal principles of equalised spacing in relation to the listening positions . Advanced true play enabled each time software updates are implemented with pretty much the same sequencing ( height movements etc) to minimise variations in the way Trueplay is done . Using pretty much the same test music material I have noticed changes in quality which required me to enable the tone controls to suit taste . Recently it’s been quite marked with signification changes in the need to increase the treble output . With the most recent update after Trueplay , treble control had now to be reduced such that the bass and treble controls are more or less flat . Clearly the software updates have been to stabilise the app but how much of these change
Sonos tech support advice: “buy a new router or hard wire the blue tooth speaker 🤦🏻♂️. Obviously the speakers are not stable. speakers go t1ts up every time the App updates and they regularly drop out. Takes ages to “turn off the on again” and the speakers struggle to find the network.Sending the 100’s back along with speaker stands.Probably our last ever purchase from Sonos. All our other WiFi / blue tooth tech works fine.
Grateful for anyone who can help please - I've been tearing my hair out! I’m unable to properly connect my 2 OneSLs to the new Wi-Fi network after we upgraded the router. Surprisingly the two old Play:3s and a more recent Move work fine and are happily connected. The router is a Vodafone Ultra Hub with extender which offers 2.4, 5 and 6Ghz on different networks, recognising that older devices may not be able to connect to 6Ghz. the OneSLs are instantly recognised when connected by Ethernet but disappear when using Wi-Fi. They can be found by factory resetting on Wi-Fi but then disappear again at the end of the “add new speaker” process (this finishes with the statement: “your product has been added, but may not appear in your system unplug it, plug it back in, to finish setup from settings” and of course when you do that it can't be found again!)restarting the router doesn't help turning off the extender doesn't helpseparating the different networks doesn't helpconnecting via Ethe
Sonos not connecting to Apple TV, was working only weeks agoI airplay my projectors sound to two Sonos Ones. And they worked well only a few weeks ago. It was simply a matter of selecting the Sonos system from the audio menu and it would connect. Now I’ve tried factory resetting and reconnecting the speakers and they still won’t play through Apple TV. I’m stuck and not sure what else to try?Could it be the latest version of the app? I’ve read a few others complaining of different problems but blaming it on the app. Anyone with a similar problem? Or any ideas of what else I might need to try to get them working again.
I recently update the iOS app and it now wants me to update the firmware on my Sonos components, which I’m happy to do except that the update always fails with error 30.Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me?
Hi, I have a Sonos 5 that I want to connect to my Sony Bluetooth turntable, I live in a fairly small property so I’m limited on space. The turntable will have to be situated upstairs with the Sonos 5 speaker downstairs, can I connect them both with a Bluetooth receiver connected to the Sonos 5? I’m looking at the ifi zen air blue receiver on Amazon, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Simon.
It is evident from this: … that newer Sonos devices do not give noise floor or OFDM ANI information on the network matrix. Can anyone tell me why this is? Has the network matrix been replaced by some other diagnostic tool? Thanks all,Tom
What voice commands do you use to connect the speaker in the living room with another speaker in the house
Old subject of systems not registering with the annoying “check your network” message. There is a hint in the “Check the time and date on the unit” I found out by eliminating all the working SONOS speakers and leaving just the unregistered one, I had to sign in, but finally got past all the Registering failure. I went to system and checked TIME and DATE and it said Jan 1 2001 and 12:00 (The default). I tried to make it update to Internet Time so it would be accurate but it never updates. My guess is the clock in the speak has a Lithium button battery that has gone dead after 8 years. And Registration can’t happen if the time is not accurate for some crazy reason. CS support is useless. This guy blamed my Internet provider which is the old ruse of years ago. Now with IPV5 and IPV6 it’s so standard that excuse is like saying it’s your 110V power outlet. Net Net, the clock is dead and the unit will never register. I’m going to take mine apart and see if I can upda
I turned on my Sonos system this morning and . . . nothing!Things were a bit weird in the past weeks, since I got the iPhone 16, and even stranger when they put an update iOS 18.2.1 on it. I got signed out of ALL my Sonos options, though Amazon Music and Sirius were still there and the speaker system still worked. Then this morning (2024.01.20), it all crapped out.I basically had to delete the app’, unplug the Sonos router, and all the speakers and start over from entering my wifi router. Kinda sucked! And took an hour and then some before everything was back online. ‘Need my music in the morning! ‘Not sure if the blame goes to Sonos, the iPhone 16 or to Apple. (Still cannot sign into the Sonos stuff. I try and it keeps coming back to “Sign in as Owner.” But, I AM the owner!)
Sonia one has been working for 2 years. Suddenly last week it stopped working. Tried many times to reconnect to the network but it does not work. So frustrating. Tried factory reset and that did not help. what should I do?
Does anyone else have a problem with their home microwave consistently interfering with their Sonos signal? When we run the microwave for longer than 20 seconds the Sonus signal sporadically drops in and out across all Sonos components/devices (4). As soon as the microwave stops, Sonos comes back on again at all components. We are still using Controller 1 with a mix of old & new Sonos devices. As well, we have three WAP strategically located throughout the house with strong wireless signals throughout. This has been happening ever since we built and moved into the house. We even had our builder replace the microwave unit thinking it was leaking! No one has a clue as to why and how to solve.
I have a new Samsung Galaxy phone. Phone says Sonos not connected to wifi. Tried Sonos tech support. The guy worked with me to try all different things. All failed. After about a 1/2 hour, he hung up on me. Meanwhile, my old Motorola worked perfectly. Can anyone help?
How do I register my speakers
Hello - I’ve been using a Five in my home gym for a while, placed horizontally. All has been great but my gym is starting to grow and there are 2 areas separated by a short wall. I will be adding a second Five to the new section and I am not sure what the best configuration is. Question 1: Should I pair the 2 5s in stereo or will the wall cause problems? Question 2: Will it matter much if I orient the left speaker vertically? I do not plan to change the orientation of the right speaker. I may need to hang the left vertically out of space concerns once a fan is added to the left wall. Question 3: should I just keep it easy and not pair them and just group them as 2 separate speakers. I’d like to decide before get a speaker so that I get the correct mount. Any help or insight is appreciated. Thanks!
WLAN verbindet sich nur per Kabel. Was hab ich falsch gemacht?
I bought a Beam soundbar a while ago and it was, and has been, fantastic. I then proceeded to install two Era 100s around the house. Apart from the delay issues with the TV connections, it was working fine. A month or so later, one of the Eras disappeared completely from the app. Sonos chat guys helped me through it and I got the Era to reappear but it has always said no connectivity. Went through the motions with Sonos chat and lost interest after 5 hrs of "try this, try that". In the end they were saying that there is no compatibility with my WiFi booster, although it worked fine for a month. Anyone able to help at all?
Can I use the same pair of Era100s to be both rear telly speakers and a stereo pair for listening to music?
I have 4 Sonos 1 speakers all connected to the same system. 2 in living room as a stereo pair, 1 in our bedroom and the 4th was in the kitchen. Approx. 12 months ago, the 4th (kitchen) started dropping out and as a result it has not been in use. We have established that there is a coupleof Wi-Fi black spots in our house that virgin are supplying boosters for although not yet received.I have since moved the speaker to my son’s room, closer to the router than our bedroom and it still doesn’t work and keeps dropping out. I have logged in to our router settings and none of the connections are duplicate IP addresses so this is really frustrating. I have also ran Diagnostics and spent a long time on the phone to Sonos and the problem is still not resolved. if anyone can offer any further assistance, that would be much appreciated!obviosuly, I have unplugged and reset all speakers and the router itself as well…
After last app update. Our three speakers stopped working.Had to re register all three speakers as they had lost internet connection.Took some time to get the speakers working again.Another disappointing App update by Sonos.
My speakers are acting in a very bizarre manner. At any random point, day or night, they suddenly turn on and off in a quick fashion, like at a rate of 3 - 4 times per second. I have a video I can share if needed. When I open the app, it’s showing the music start and pause in a super quick fashion. I can’t pause it, change stations, or anything. If I try and turn the volume down, it goes straight back to level 15.. exactly. I’ve tried reinstalling the app, and resetting the speakers.. Within minutes it’s doing it again. Is there a fix to this, or did I just lose $400 at Costco?
I am using a New phone and haven't used my speaker for a while.I have connected my Sonos One SL to my wifi again and the app says I have suceeded, but when I want to use it it doesn't exist anymore. I have updated the app, shut the power of andrestartet my router. Can anyone please help me, what can I do?
Hey,I just added 2 Era 300 speakers to my Soundbar Arc and Sub Gen 3. I connected them to WiFi and set them up as surround sound speakers for the entire system. The problem is that when I play music, a movie (anything), the speakers intermittently cut out. They play sound in a pulsating manner. The router is in the same room and the WiFi signal is very strong. Do you know what could be causing this?
