Does era 300 work without power cable?
I’ve had 2x Play 1’s connected as surrounds to a Beam in my living room for a number of years which have worked faultlessly, until very recently.A couple of weeks ago I noticed one of the Play 1’s wasn’t showing up in the app and said disconnected, but the white light was flashing. On investigating the Play 1 flashed up with a firmware update which it performed and seemed to initially connect ok so I didn’t think anything more. The next day I noticed the speaker wasn’t connected but there was now a strange sequence of lights - as follows:white light on for 20 seconds white light off then flashes 3 times No lights for 3 mins above sequence repeats. The Play 1 does not show in the app at all. I have tried every combination of hard/factory reset, including plugged in via Ethernet but the speaker is stuck in the above sequence. Sonos support have been absolutely useless and said nothing more than the speaker is likely now defective and needs to be replaced. Has anyone had any form of s

Cannot play on Beam or Symfonisk directly from Spotify. My devices show in the device list, but when choosing a Sonos device, it just blinka for awhile and the reverts to the phone. Been like this for the past two weeks. Playing through the Spotify app works fine, playing from Spotify to other devices (Google cast devices) also works as intended, so Sonos seem to be the culprit here. This needs to be fixed. (Same issue from Pc)
Bonjour,J'ai acheté 2 enceintes Era 100 qui sont synchronisées en stéréo via mon téléphone et Deezer.Régulièrement, le son baisse tout seul et passé d'une enceinte à l'autre en mode mono et non plus stéréo.Merci de votre aide pour résoudre ce problème Moderator edit:Google Translate- Hello,I bought 2 Era 100 speakers that are synchronized in stereo via my phone and Deezer.Regularly, the sound drops by itself and goes from one speaker to another in mono mode and no longer stereo.Thank you for your help in solving this problem
I have a sonos one player and i was wondering if i can connect it to my tv for audio output. Can i use sonos roam to do so ? Cuz sonos rome does have Bluetooth feature. Is is possible to connect roam to tv and link roam to sonos one for the same audio output on both speakers ???
I have been very happy with my Sonos set-up that has 10+ speakers. Now I had app update and everything seems very difficult. Connection between Sonos and Spotify that has worked before is now delayed and not working. Is this due to some known error or is it then in my WiFi connection? Really frustrating to have all these speakers around the house and the play music from portable JBL Bluetooth speaker.
I have Sonos for 10 years. I just bought an Era 100 I can’t add it to my system.
For the past few years, I’ve been playing a 3 hour long White Noise track from Spotify on my Sonos One, as well as my son’s Sonos One. I select the track and then click repeat to make sure it continues through the entire night. We’ve never had issues using it this way in the past. Recently, and for reasons unknown, my Sonos Ones in both rooms will randomly start playing Jazz music around 5:00 AM / 6:00 AM. I check both Queues and the only tracks in each one are the White Noise track mentioned above, which is also set to repeat until I turn it off. All software and apps are up to date. I have no idea what’s causing this. There are no alarms set either. Completely random and waking me and my kids up early than necessary everyday. Any one else experiencing this issue or just me? Just had a 30 minute call with Support and after walking me through all of their suggestions, they too admitted they have no clue what’s causing this to happen. Tech, can you please take a look and fix this bug as
Hi All,In my living room, I have 4 sonos Speakers.1 symfonisk bookshelf 1 sonos one 1 sonos one sl 1 symfonisk lamp speakerI would like to have them always behave as a single “Living Room” speaker unit.I was able to join the sonos one and SL in a stereo speaker and they behave as one. I would like to do this to all of them.I sense that the group functionality from sonos app is OK for different rooms, but when you have speakers in the same room it's a bit clumbsy. every now and them only half of them are playing. I need to open sonos app and select again all I want to enable. All in all, I'm looking for a more streamlined, seamless, ROOM aggregation.
So I just switched to Xfinity’s cable modem/router combo from a previous setup. Of course this new setup forced me to create a new wifi name and define a password. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to Update the Network under Manage Networks in the S2 app. I have deleted the old wifi setup’s that were stored there and now, nothing is in this window. I have 2 Play 3’s and 2 Play 1’s in my setup here at the house. No matter what I do, I cannot get my system to come back up using the app on my iphone nor the controller on my mac… Soon as I take one of the speakers and connect it to my router via an ethernet cable, everything comes back up both in the app on my phone and on mac.. Soon, as I unplug the speaker from the ethernet cable, it all goes back to nothing connected… Please help, as I cannot run an ethernet cable to any one of these speakers.
I recently added two Era 100 speakers to an auxiliary room...and placed an eero wi-fi in same room. Within 30-minutes of networking the speakers, a three-second stutter started. It's on both speakers, but not at same time resulting in the stutter occurring as many as 15 times an hour.Actions I've already taken include trying speakers separately. No help. I spoke to Sonos tech for help. We did a firmware update. No help. What else can I do? Is this an inherent issue with Era 100's and I should just return them?
Deeply unimpressed with my purchase of a Symphonisk speaker pair, they will not pair and operate properly no matter how many times (and different ways) that I try.One side will work but not the other and vice versa; sometimes one side will work momentarily with the other but only 1% of the time.I have an Apple Home setup which I can get working nicely, but these speakers are the black sheep and I’m regretting the purchase. Firmwares are up to date and I’ve tried everything else suggested online.I notice many complaints online; are these things just junk and should I be avoiding Sonos products like the plague? (in my mind the answer to this is a hard yes right now).
Sonos One connects with Sonos Play 1. Through Sonos app Android. Make sure. The speakers are set for separate rooms, and then group them through Sonos app settings . Add voice assistant for sonos. Just something I wanted to share for anyone .
Hi there, I have just purchased an Era 300 and love it but a little disappointed that i can’t seem to connect it via bluetooth to my firestick. The firestick finds the Era no problem and connects to it but when i try and watch anything there is no sound. I did check the forums first and have tried the different audio output options on the firestick but no joy ☹️Any help greatly appreciated.
I’ve recently installed my old Play5 (1st gen) in my summer house. The speaker was factory reset and then set up on my completely new home network (via WiFi). After using the speaker for a couple of hours, and again the following day (8-10h of music in total) I was surprised to see that it had used 45 GB bandwith! Checking my router it is clear that the Play5 uses around 195 mb every five minutes (external connection) - even when its not playing! The network is through a brand new ASUS 4G-router with a SIM-card, providing a fine connection. The subscription only allows me to use 50 GB of bandwith per month. Only a Chromecast and the Play5 (along with my phone) is connected to the wifi. Sonos Support had never heard of this issue (odd?) and recommended that I turned off the speaker when not using it.Turning the speaker of every now and then sort of ruins the complete idea of having a remote controlled system? Several others have experienced this, but there is no answer how to avoid it?
Last week 2 of my devices stoped allowing me to control volume and music. Today another two devices stoped working so now my entire system doesn’t work. I have re set my devices. Reset my wifi and still nothing. I have also re downloaded the app and ensured everything is updated. Does anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it?
I have a LG G3 tv and use Apple tv to controle the tv. The sonos system is also connected. So every time i start my Apple tv i have to choose which sonos source i would like to use for tv sound output. It normally chooses two sources - the speakers and the Sonos setup with arc, sub and era 300. I ghave to click out the tv speakers on the Apple TV every time. Please help me.
I’m trying to configure the wifi access on a Sonos Play 1. I’ve following the instructions of resetting the Play 1 and then following the instructions on the app. Unfortunately when I select adding the speaker on the app nothing happens. Is there a way of rolling back the app to a version which was able to configure the wifi username and password on a Sonos Play 1
I purcharsed a sonos arc refurbished in the Sonos website. During that time I couldn’t extend my product warranty during my checkout. So I called sonos back in April 2024 after registering my product. (FYI- The agent couldn’t register it because it was still registerd to the previous person/buyer) I was told to wait for an email from the extended warranty. I've called multiple times after and received another story stating that I will show up on your sonos.com/ system area. I'm very disappointed with the customer service at Sonos. Every sonos agents had a different story. I'm not asking for anything for free, I just want to extend my product warranty. I"m close to selling all my sonos products and returning my mini sub to Bestbuy. I have to rethink if I should ever buy products again at Sonos, also I"m thinking about switching to a different product to Bose. It's bad enough we had to deal with software issues this past year. (I've called multiple times regarding software issues) I wa

Hi,I have a small issue, my new Ikea/sonos speaker can’t play with my other speakers (One and Play:5).I can make it work on it’s own but if I try to sync it with my other sonos speakers it won’t work and show an error : “Unable to connect, Try again Later”.Do you guys have any clue on what could be the problem ?Is this by design ?Btw I tried factory Resets and unplugs. Thanks !
I have two Sonos systems: one in the main house (composed of a stereo pair of Play:1 speakers, one Sonos One, an additional Play:1, one Play:3, a Sonos Playbar with Sub Gen2, and two Play:1 surround speakers) and one in the second home (composed of three Play:3 speakers and one Play:1). Both systems use a Sonos Boost, and the networks are configured with the same SSID and password so that I automatically connect to the available system.Until recently, both installations worked properly (even though the new app is a bit slow). However, in the second home I have noticed a marked deterioration in performance: the system has become slower, and there are frequent disconnections—both of the active service and of some speakers. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I performed a factory reset on some speakers and then tried to re-add the reset speaker. Unfortunately, the process does not complete, and I can no longer see the device in question. It is true that the network in the second house is r
I have 2 era 100 and a sub mini. While playing music on the phone all three work. TV only allows 2 devices. So sub is useless
Hello, If anyone has had a similar issue let me know; I have a Roku TV hooked up to a Sonos sound bar and they usually work great, for about three years we have had great sound with no complaints. Today, seemingly randomly, I can’t use the TV remote to increase the volume on the sound bar anymore. It will only accept inputs for decreasing the volume. I have tried the following to troubleshoot:Turned off the TV and left it off for over five minutes. Unplugged the optical cable from the TV and left unplugged for five minutes before plugging it back in Unplugged the sound bar and left it unplugged for five minutes before reconnecting Changed the audio settings within the TV Tried a different remote that is also capable of changing the volumeIf anyone can help diagnose or resolve this issue let me know. My trust and respect for Sonos products have reached an all-time low and I cannot in good conscience suggest this product to anyone after this.
