A while ago I upgraded from Era 100’s to 300’s in my living room and I am now trying to swap an old Sonos speaker for one of the 100’s.

It now says that I have a “Living Room 3” set up and that my “Office” no longer has something connected.

How do I delete the 100 from whatever room it is trying to be in to reassign it to another room that used to have a different speaker assigned to it?

Not totally clear what you have done. You had a Play 1 in “Office”? What did you do with it?

If you can connect the Play 1 again, the “Office” should show a speaker. Rename the room. After this you can rename “Living Room 3” to “Office”. Disconnect the Play 1 and the system will forget it in a few days. If you want to sell the Play 1 reset it first. https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/reset-your-sonos-product

Room names are changeable, you just need to tap on the room name in the Settings and choose a dropdown, or type in any name you wish.

Also, if all your speakers are properly assigned to a room and the room that no longer had a speaker is still showing in the app don’t worry. The room with no speaker will disappear from the app in 3 to five days.
