Hay I’m using the era 300 and all the time I have an disconnect problems in the airplay and the Bluetooth it’s showing me that’s the music is running but I can’t hear anything and it’s keep going all day longthank you for helping 🙏🏼
I’ve got 3 Sonos SL’s in our office, all connected to WiFi which is accessible to the company office LAN on one subnet. All the client machines are connected via Ethernet to another VLAN but can discover and connect to the Sonos devices just fine.I just had to change our WiFi password, and re-set them up from scratch as they’ve been running untouched for a few years now. When they came back online and ran its firmware updates I now suddenly find the client cannot see the Sonos speakers from the other subnet although I can ping them no problem.Only when I connect to the same subnet can they be discovered.I can only assume the firmware update has changed the ability for them to be discovered across subnets so this is a pain as we have machines on different subnets depending on the role they play in the office.Anyone know anything about this and any known solutions?
Please help me! can a support member call me. Its so disappointing to buy a brand new product that just won't work I was already on hold for 40 minutes and was cut off and now the phone line is 50 + mins wait again. I bought a Sonos era 100 The Sonos 1 app can recognise the product. The Sonos 2 app repeatedly tells me to go to my setting and switch on local network permissions on my iPhone. I go to the settings and these settings are already on. I cannot understand why it refuses to see it. My wifi on the iPhone and Sonos box are the same. I have reset factory settings on Sonos. I have deleted and re-downloaded app and signed in. I have reset router. I have tried everything
Dear Sonos What on earth are you people smoking over there? I just wanted to change the wifi network on my system. Apparently, that’s beyong the reach of your great new app. I have to factory reset all of my speakers and lose EVERYTHING in my setup. Very annoying, but hey.. if it works, I’ll get on with it.Unfortunately, it doesn’t end there.Your new app is as competent at adding speakers to a new system than I am to doing open heart surgery while asleep and using a spoon. After a lot of swearing and retries, our magical new Sonos app eventually manages to add one speaker. To get that far I had to transfer MY OWN SYSTEM to MY OWN NEW SYSTEM.. which it refused to do for the first few tries. But hurrah, I have a new system with one speaker, on the same Sonos account. Let’s add the second speaker in the same room.. three tries later, I have a second speaker.. but oh oh.. I have to register it to the account first. Ten tries later... “there was a problem registering your device (yes, the one
Hi, Is anyone else having a problem adding the new Sonos amp to there Sonos App? Keeps telling me to try again later which is frustrating as I have just had the Sonos ceiling speakers fitted and want to test these out.
I am trying to connect a used Sonos one to my Sonos system I can see it on the app (I have the new just released 2024 app) and it makes all the right noises and everything works even assigning the speaker to a room until registering when it says:There was a problem adding your Sonos One to your system. Try again laterSonos one is not registered I’ve rebooted the Sonos one, rebooted the router, turned my iPhone on and off, then factory reset the Sonos one and even connected with an Ethernet cable to the router but it always stalls at the same point - it takes an age ‘Linking your Sonos one to your account’ then always the same result: There was a problem adding your Sonos One to your system. Try again laterVery much appreciate any help
I have a Sonos roam, my Bluetooth is connected but no audio what can I do?
Latest update makes syncing all speakers along with play bar very difficult to impossible
On the Era100, is it normal for the voice service LED to be too dim? I mean, during the day, it's not possible to see its status, and at night, it's barely noticeable
When I have audio via Spotify, and I switch to e.g. YouTube, I lose audio. And when switching back to Spotify, I need to select the other settings again. And when Spotify is on the Airplay, the volume up/down via key board don’t work. Weird problem. Who knows what it is? I think I want to only use Bluetooth. This Airplay seems to mess up.
on turning on Sonos. About five mins of stuttering play then settled. thanks in advance :-) Moderator Note: Removed diagnostics number.
At our business (a local fitness studio) in Santa Monica we use 4 x Sonos speakers during our fitness classes but the connectivity is poor. Our trainers are frequently interrupted by the music dropping and going out during workouts. It happens so frequently that they’ve stopped using the Sonos and they’ve started using a 3rd party bluetooth speaker in the classes which is a really wonky and sub-optimal solution. How can I fix the connectivity issue? We already tried range extenders for our wifi and that didn’t work. Can I hire a local tech to come and wire our sonos speakers together? I’d love for trainers to be able to plug in their devices (iphones) to play music and give them 100% confidence that the music will never go out, so I’m happy to invest in hardwiring the speakers.
Play 5 not emitting sound even though app shows it playing
I’m not sure which is worse, the customer service at Sonos or the incompatible app that they ask you to download. What a ******* joke this company is! Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.
I’ve got the latest app and my play5 gen 2 will not register. Each time I attempt to register the device th app just crashes. I’ve tried this both on my iPad and iPhone. I also factory reset the play5.any ideas?tried speaking with someone in Sonos but queue times are ridiculous!
I just bought a second hand Play 3 (1st gen).I factory reseted it and setup went well.I can play music on it using Sonos app but I don’t see my speaker in my Airplay list on my iPhone. What am I doing wrong?I see my Beam speaker in the living room. Thanks guys!
How can I change from a streamed service to line-in? I have attached both a CD player and turntable to my Era 100s. I want to group other rooms but it is impossible to find how with new app.The new app is one of the least user friendly apps ever designed.
Does anyone else have to reboot their systems multiple times during the month? I use my products for the sole purpose of listening to music throughout the whole house while doing chores or working out. Every few days, multiple speakers cut in and out, requiring me to go to each speaker and unplug and plug it back in. If this is the future, help me get back to the past. This is the most monotonous way of enjoying music and the least enjoyable experience for a whole-house music system. I've reached the point where I've reverted back to using my phone and earbuds to have the listening experience I thought I was investing in with Sonos. Just fix the problem or make it possible to reboot the system from the app.
I find Sonos App just keeps ‘losing’ my system. I have to reset the beam, the sub, the router and by fluke it connects. A few hours later I have to repeat which is insane. Now I bypass Sonos app and just connect via Spotify which has no issues finding Sonos. Anyone else experiencing this?
Sonos App on IPhone and IPad goes through all steps while setting up using Wi-Fi. At the end of setup process, the screen reads “Adding Play:3 to Den.” It remains on that screen. Attempted several times using several devices. Will not advance beyond that screen. Works fine when adding using Ethernet but I need to use Wi-Fi.
In addition to all the issues that have been identified with the new app (unable to edit the queue etc) another problem is that if you have created stereo pairs (paired speakers) it is no longer possible to balence them (as in make one louder than the other). There is still a rudimentary EQ function (bass/treble) but it is no longer possible to balance speaker pairs. Super-annoying.
I just sold my Sonos playbase.i hidden it from my system but, the man who bought it says he cannot connect because it still owns to my system.what should i do to let him free using my Sonos? thanks marco
I can see and start setup on my two One SLs, but the will not register to system. I have rebooted everything and cannot get the registration to complete… help
