System installed by Best Buy Geek Squad 30 days ago.Arc Soundbar connected to eArc HDMI port on TV.Router is line of sight 9 feet to Sub and 20 feet to Era's. (See photo below)They had difficulty connecting the sub when initially installing the system and it did not stay connected very long after they left. I got it reconnected a few times but now it will not connect at all. Spoke to Geek Squad rep that installed it and she thought maybe it was a bad Sub and suggested she would bring a new one out when she comes here in a week. Instead I went to store and exchanged mine for a new one. Brought it home, hooked it up per manual and still nothing and now one of the Era 300's doesn't connect. I did get a message that a “Factory Reset” is required after hooking up the new sub but it also said that this should only be used for a change of ownership so I decided against it for fear of wiping something out. People keep posting their frustration with trying to configure Sonos to use a Linux shared music folder as the music library. With my recent update to Ubuntu 22.04, my Sonos system stopped being able to read the Linux shared folder. But I actually did find a configuration that revived access. I had problem with my Sonos app losing connection with all speakers every few days. Had to go through the reconnection including switching off router multiple times to find them again. I have a playbar , subwoofer, play 3 and play 1.  I had a Google mesh with Virgin router in modem mode but changed to TP-Link Deco 6e thinking it would improve but it got worse.i tried all solutions on the forum, turned off guest network, turned off 5g , wired playbar direct to the primary router and spent 2.5 hours on the phone with support. These led only to brief connections. I then moved my primary Deco6e router 4 metres away  from the playbar and have now had no lost connections for 4 weeks. I would suggest trying this simple solution before the other more technical answers. Seems that interference was the main issue.  

I have a Sonos Roam.Its been on charge (both wireless Sonos charging base & direct Sonos USB cord) & the red light is continually showing as its charging. As soon as I disconnect from power the red light goes off and it won’t turn on. I’ve tried all suggestions from Sonos & this Community to no avail… The unit is not that old and certainly hasn't had a lot of use…Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Hi!I’ve a Sonos Port in our system and it will not save the room it’s allocated to. After a day or so it’s back to the old room in the settings. Anyone have had the same issue?

Hey all, I have a new Sonos era 100 that I am trying to use as a pc speaker via line in. I purchased the sonos usb-c to 3.5mm line in adapter and a 3.5mm cables to my pc’s line out port. The pc does recognize the port, the sonos era has been set to line in and fully updated, however no sound just a buzzing sound. I have tried another audio cable but same result. Any clue what could be wrong? Defective unit? Bluetooth works fine tho!

All of a sudden my IKEA Symnofisk no longer works - I cannot use AIRPLAY to hear music thru the speaker.It worked fine for several months before this.  I have tried unplugging, forgetting the device on network, reconfiguring it.Whats wrong? 

Hi. I can’t connect my Sonos 100 to internet… I’m live in residence… I bring Sonos to store to check what’s happening… there everything fine… here in residence I can’t connect.

I’ll try and explain it in the best way I can.My Sonos system consists if one Sonos Arc, two Sonos One speakers, both a left and right for surround sound and a Sonos Sub. I have the Sonos Arc connected to a Sony Bravia TV OLED using the Arc port and also connected with my Dell PC through Airplay as it is not connected through a cable.The issue I’m having is related to iTunes, which I use to listen to all my music. It starts fine with no issues but say after 15 minutes or so the sound coming from the speakers begins to cut out intermittently and sometimes the sound coming from the Sonos One speakers cuts out completely leaving only sound emitting from the Sonos Arc. It only cuts out for say a second but happens more frequently the longer you listen to music.I only hav

https://support.sonos.com/en-ca/article/set-up-your-symfonisk-speaker references a “power passthrough cable” but doesn’t provide any details. I don’t think it was included in box. Where would I get one and what would I ask?I wanted to use it to power one Symfonisk speaker from the other.

Sonos beam 1st gen suddenly stopped working wirelessly. Can’t locate on Sonos app and can’t discover on Spotify app thru AirPlay. I also noticed the light by microphone button doesn’t light on when pressed. Not sure if it’s related….I tried factory reset on beam and uninstall / clean install Sonos app on my iphone. Only way the damn thing works if it’s wired to router thru ethernet cable which is not feasible in the location i want to utilize. Haven’t changed any passwords etc. Please help! Thank you 

Hallo,I'm using the Era 300 via Bluetooth with my MacBook Pro. When I open a website that contains a video, even on Amazon where a product has a video showing how it works, the music that is playing in Background stops for 2 seconds.

Do I need more than one speaker in a room for the best sound experience?

I’m using an android phone connected line in on my Era 100 and the volume is very low. I have it set to 10 (max) on the line in settings, which is only slightly better than the lowest settings. I’ve tried different cables between the Sonos line in adapter and the highly rated USB C-to-3.5mm DAC adapter plugged into my phone with the same results. The volume at 100 sounds like 20 over wifi. Any help would be most appreciated.

Hello All Good People I have been planning to purcase two pair of speakers in near future,and one of the two pairs would most likely be the Sonos Five’s.If i buy these….what brand stands are you prefere to use. I belive there is Flexson,Mountson and Sanus by brand…and yes we are in Europe if somebody was wondering.And the Five’s will be in white colour.

I cannot get the speakers to play with the sound bar while watching tvafter moving to another state

I have been running a Project turntable to a Sonos Play 5 via line in successfully for several years now. I recently picked up a second hand Denon DN-C615 CD Player. I have tried connecting via Analogue Out (Red and White) into the Sonos 5 via line in. It plays and has volume fine, but the sound is very twangy (sorry no other way I can think to describe it)Wondering if I need an Amp or some other sort of intermediary?Any assistance greatly appreciated. 

I’ve been a long time customer and really love my Sonos system that I have added to over time. However, in recent weeks we’ve been encountering a number of different issues including:Different speakers randomly not showing up in the app (this is not consistent to specific speakers) Sound randomly cutting out of individual speakers while music is playing (also not consistent to specific speakers) Volume randomly changing on individual speakers while music is playing (note that the volume in the app is not changing but the volume of the actual sound coming out of speakers) Sound from the TV routed via optical cable to Playbar cuts in and out (note this is not an issue with the content/streaming since no issues when using the TV’s built-in speaker for the sound) Search within the app takes an excessively long time and does not consistently return results for connected services  Skipping tracks in the app does not work consistently (will sometimes hang for a bit before skipping, will somet

HI,I am looking to move or transfer a set of Ones to another location where they can be accessed by multiple people via Bluetooth or even if they have to download the Sonos app, and/or add it to their on system as a separate location if that’s possible.  Obviously looking for the easiest way.  What I am doing is taking the Ones to my martial arts studio in hoping to have multiple use them.  I’m not concerned if any services are carried over.  Is it easier to transfer the speakers to a new account and have people logged into that account via the app? I’ve seen numerous responses but, it still leaves me at a loss.  This is the breakdown of what I am trying to accomplish.*Setup a new or separate  system at the studio.*Have the ability for  multiple people use it via Bluetooth or app. Thanks in advance,Mark

I have a SONOS system consisting of 4 Play:1 devices and a SONOS Boost device. These have all been working fine until I went from the typical WI-FI system on my modem, to a mesh system. I finally got the Play:1’s to work, but for some unknown reason, the boost will not connect. I have tried numerous times. After each attempt, It would say “Your mobile device couldn’t connect to your Boost. Make sure the Boost is connected to power”. I don’t know why it has to be so difficult! Everything is says to do is already being done!I have tried so much, that I don’t even think this Boost is necessary anymore. I thought I needed it to boost the wifi signal to each device, but not sure anymore

my gen 2 play 5, linked to my gen 1 playbar, have recently been having syncronisation/delay issues and it’s more scary than ever when listening to Radiohead 😁 Seriously, why is this happening and how can i get them back in sync?

My Sonos system, which has worked seamlessly for years, suddenly won't connect to my WiFi. Before going through the setup for each of the 6 speakers, I'm checking if there's a current Sonos issue or if there's something I might be missing. I've already tried the basic WiFi network resetting steps. Appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.
