I have a new set of Era 100s that are replacing a set of Play:1s.I was unable to add them to my system with the new iPhone app (80.0.04) and several factory resets, but was able to add 1 of them using the new android app (also 80.0.04). I then saw there was an update to the iPhone app, updated to 80.0.08 and was able to add the second speaker. So, now that my speakers are finally added to my system, I’m unable to group them into a stereo pair. The iPhone app says that there was a problem grouping them. The android app says they were successfully grouped, but never groups them.I’ve tried having them in separate “rooms,” the same “room,” made sure all the settings were the same (voice, status light, etc), but nothing is working. Both are connected to WiFi. Any tips? I’m really losing patience with this new app.
Veteran Sonos owner who just received an Era 100 as a gift - this is my 5th speaker. Set it up at my office (replacing the Roam I was using) - all good. But twice today, the speaker has acted on its own, nothing to do with my app (and the voice control/mic is off) - a random beep or two and music stops and starts or, just now, started on its own after I had stopped listening (and stopped the stream on my Sonos app).I’m sure this is something obvious, but…..help?
Diagnostics ********I have done the complete flow for adding this lamp multiple times, ending with it connected to Ethernet and typing the PIN code from the bottom of the device. It consistently fails to add. It looks like I have the same problem with a symfonisk picture frame but I haven't tried everything with that yet. The rest of my system, including two other symfonisk products and 3 mainline sonos devices seems to be working fine.I'm hoping sonos support can see this and do or suggest something.Moderator edit: diagnostics recorded and removed as identifying information
My speakers have stopped playing together across all the rooms. They play individual but when i try to group them it says unable to try again later. Any suggestions. I’ve turned off all the routers. Been fine for a year then started today
Hi - I purchased a Sonos One SL nearly a year ago today and within the last month it has stopped working completely. It’s the continuous flashing white light issue. I have tried absolutely everything. The hard reset does not work at all. I have wired this directly into my router also The product is rendered absolutely useless and does not respond to the hard reset. I should not be forced to shell out more funds to upgrade to an Era given I have had the product only one year. Does anyone have a solution for this? Trying to get through to UK customer support and there is a constant waiting time of 120+ minutes! Thanks
As hundreds of people have already reported, the new Sonos upgrade is a complete waste. I had to do a hard reset and reinstall from scratch to get past the stupid login errors. Terrible customer support!
When I shuffle my Apple Music playlist, it will eventually play. But, the track information is missing. How do I fix this?
After factory reset I can’t re-register my play ones to my account
During the setup, after selecting the room the linking to account keeps failing.I hear the audible PIN and press the button in the back, but it still keeps failing.I have tried all the usual drill steps of restarting phone, router, hard reset the Sonos one, removing and reinstalling app, using another phone and such. I have also connected it directly to router via ethernet. Still no luck. I have 5 other sonos products (including one gen2) that are on my wifi network and working fine which makes me think that the wifi network itself is not an issue and I set one other device up as recently as 5 days ago.
I can’t seem to find a travel case or bag for my Era 300. Does anyone have a suggestion?
I bought 2 era 100 about 2 months ago and added to a new room in my house as a stereo pair. But after the update of the Sonos app the problem started. The speakers were not recognized in the app. I powered the speakers off, reset them and tried to re-install and connect. But in the app after many times, one was registered and one not. And the one registered is not responding if i want to stream music on it. How to resolve is my question??
Hallo, weiß jemand wie man nach dem Update einen speaker über wlan wieder mit dem Fernseher verbinden kann? Das ganze System reagiert nicht mehr. Moderator edit:Google Translate-Hello,Does anyone know how to reconnect a speaker to the TV via WiFi after the update? The whole system stops responding.
When will the sub mini be able to connect back to my existing account & system after the update over a week ago the mini sub disappeared from connection when tries to reconnect it it now won’t add back to my current system Why is this taken so long to resolve
My sub will not reset after app update 🤬 it worked perfectly fine before the update. I called they said it’s no good anymore send it to us we’ll give you 30% off a new. This is ridiculous
Once again I start the day with no functional Sonos app for no other reason than Sonos doesn't care enough to issue a functional app. What is galling is the complete lack of acknowledgement of the depth of the issue. Today, everything is just greyed out despite everything being as it was last night Please roll back this app.
Since updating to the new app. I cannot see or add my old Gen 1 PLay 1s and 3s. Any ideas or help anyone. Have tried all the fixes.
Hello, I currently have a Sonos System with 5 Symfonisk speakers, bought a couple of years ago, which works well and with no issues at all. I am now trying to add 3 speakers to the system.First, I’ve tried to connect the speakers through WiFi with the Sonos app; the app recognizes the speakers, prompts to connect to the temporary wifi network of the speaker, plays the sounds and is about to finalise the procedure, but at the end an error message shows up saying “the speaker cannot be added to the system”.As suggested by the app, I have also tried to input manually the serial number found behind the speakers, but that doesn’t work as well. I’ve then tried to connect the speakers through Ethernet, but I also get the same error message. I have tried searching the forum looking for the same problem but couldn’t find anything relevant. Any idea on how to solve this?? Thanks!
I can't connect my sonos play 5. It has a bridge. The app can't find it.
I have long (55’) covered porch with 14’ ceilings. At one end of the porch, I would like to have a TV with a home theater (Dolby Atmos) set-up using an ARC speaker and a Sonos sub. I have 4 KEF ci200rs speakers which I would like to mount in the ceiling with 2 speakers serving as rear channel speakers. The other 2 speakers would be used for music. Questions. 1- What equipment (amp, etc) do I need and how do I connect that equipment and speakers to deliver the best home theater (Dolby Atmos if possible)and music in a less than ideal room?2- Can you use non-Sonos speakers in a surround sound home theater?3- Is there a way to only power the 2 rear channel ceiling speakers for home theater but use all 4 ceiling speakers for music?4- What limitations will I have with this configuration? Thanks, jim
I have tried every troubleshooting tips. Still I cannot connect either of my era 300 to my account. Anyone have a solution?
I just recently purchased my second era 100 speaker and when I went to tune it using True Play on the newly designed app True Play does not appear to be there anymore to select from. Can anyone tell me where I find this functionality in the new app. I use a Google pixel pro 8Thanks
Our OneSL will not reconnect following a short power outage last week - we have reset factory settings multiple times and also used the Ethernet cable from the router. We can see that the speaker is connected to the wi-fi network however the speaker is not recognised in the Sonos app. The app then sends us back around the same loop again to reset and re-connect the device. We have update the App, tried 3 different phones and also tried on a new account. Our speaker is only 5 months old and we’ve never experienced this issue before - any suggestions on alternative approach
I can not add my sub mini to my Sonos system. Same wifi, 80 mbps full duplex at location. Very frustrating.
Hello, I recently purchased two new Sonos IKEA Symfonisk bookshelf speakers. I have tried multiple times to set them up with the Sonos app, but it’s not working. I’ve attempted with both Sonos on two different Wi-Fi networks, with two different devices, and nothing works. I also tried connecting them with an Ethernet cable and I have reset them several times, but still nothing. On the Wi-Fi, I have other Sonos products connected for several months and everything works very well. Can you help me solve this problem?
I have two new Sonos One’s. I set them up last night using the tan colored app icon on my iPhone. It ran through the update on each of them. Afterwards, they were connected, but a wrench icon was next to them, and it said, “not registered”. Tapped on that and it said I needed to upgrade my app on my iPhone, so I downloaded it from the App Store, it installed, then once in the app, it prompted me for an update again, which I did. I go through the process of letting each speaker play a chime, press the button on the back of the speaker, and it goes through trying to add it. Then the app crashes. I’ve deleted the app numerous times on my iPhone, and it crashes each time I try to register the speaker. I’ve reset both speakers to factory defaults, and rebooted my wireless network. Still doesn’t work. Tried my iPad, upgraded its app, and it actually got me a bit further, then it too crashes when trying to register. Deleting and installing the app again, then trying to go through the registra
