Hi, I currently have a beam and play 1 grouped. How much of a difference would pairing another play 1 be compared to my current set up?
Can someone please tell me how to turn off crossfade? I've looked everywhere in settings and can't find it. I even tried looking it up but I was able to open the links that were posted on another forum.
I recently found out about the full option where you can play music through the rear speakers and sub. It's kind of annoying that it still comes from the Beam too though and I can't fathom why Sonos hasn't fixed that. Anyway I'm not thrilled with the rear Sonos Ones for music, anyone using Play 5's for rears for better music quality? I find the Ones sufficient for Home Theater rears but wonder what the Play 5's are like for that too. I'm not using them in a big room.
Please make a battery power battery to take into garage, garden, etc or an outdoor speaker for bbq outdoor parties
I currently have several Play:1s and Play:5, all of them connected to my own wifi network and it works well. Still, I'd like to hardwire as many as I can while still use my own network, i.e. avoid sonosnet. In the Sonos Software release notes 9.2 the following can be found: "It is now possible to disable a player's built-in wireless using the Sonos App". Does this mean that I officially can hardwire a player and avoid sonosnet? If yes, would the right procedure be as follows; 1 - disable the specific player's wifi via the App 2 - hardwire the player Thankful for any feedback!
Hi guys , My Sonos sub seems to Have lost a bit of its potency .. I’ve noticed this lately and I’m wondering if anyone has experienced this same issues ? I’ve made the right adjustments via the controller and on my TV set but to no avail . It seems weaker in regards to the bass .
Have paired my laptop to a beam but no sound on the beam just on the laptop
I've just added a turntable to the system. Through one zone, no problem. Through two, three, or four zones; dropouts to point that it's unlistenable. I tried the "fix" of changing the compression to compressed. That didn't help. The Sonos stream is compressed enough when playing services like Spotify. Part of the reason I got a turntable was to bring back the deep, full sound of vinyl. I will tried switching the input to the AirPlay device instead, because I read that it buffers more. That helped some, but did not solve the drop out issue. Set it to uncompressed and AirPlay. Actually, when it does cut out, it cuts out on every device except the Connect that the turntable is directly plugged into. My setup at the the turntable is; Turntable Preamp Line out, Connect line in, Connect Line out to Amp for that zone. Wireless to the Connect Amp in the closet. I can hardwire a CAT5 to the Sonos network instead of wirelessly connecting if that will help. I need to call and submit a diag
I'm seeing a lot of posts but not a clear solution to the issue. Is there any chance that I'm missing the fix for this? Based on what the Sonos program is telling me, it sounds like a connectivity issue, however it'll play through anything on Spotify Prem or Amazon Music without issue. Just playing from my phone's music creates some sort of skip when the phone goes to sleep after about two minutes or so. I have the iPhone XS Max with the current iOS, I've had the same issue since buying the speaker in June. Help?
Hi there ive recently got into sonos and have 2 play 5s there amazing But i was looking to get a couple of play 3s i only use my sonos for music streaming etc and not for the tv but i noticed these have been discontinued i wanted one for the kitchen and one for the dining room Is anyone aware if there is going to be a new mid sized released or am i better tracking a couple of play 3 down any help or advice appreciated
This new upgrade sucks! No longer can control from iPhone lock screen! Not playing the entire song! Cut off some songs! Such a step back! Not good!!!
Had network changed. Get successfully through all steps of standard set up, but after disconnecting the Ethernet cable, get the same message every time: “cannot connect to Sonos Player”. How to solve?
We originally purchased two Sonos1 units for our house. We also purchased the Sonos Boost. They worked great. Then we added two more as fill all around the house. Everything was fine until about 2 months ago and I noticed that they were not playing a whole song every once in a while. We just purchased two more, so now we have 6 total, and the problem is still the same. Sometimes it skips very frequently. We have taken them all off line and readded them as individual names and units. We checked Wifi and everything is in order. What could be the problem. Oh. And we are running these off of our iPhoneX. If that would make a difference. This is really getting Annoying as we have spent well over $1000 for these units and now Im not happy with these at all.
I have a Play 3 and have just bought a Play 1 to add but I don't have the add speaker option in App Setting and I can't contact anyone for help.
Will Sonos be updating original soundbar to support air play 2 and HDMI input?
This appears to be a repeated problem based on all the new complaints. It will be difficult to wire the base separately due to distance from the router. Is there another way to check?
Is SONOS considering creating any outdoor waterproof speakers in the near future? It seems crazy not to have them so you can use the SONOS system indoors as well as outside!
The Sonos One in my kitchen regularly disappears from the list of speakers in the room list. Even when the speaker eventually appears in the list, a message appears stating that it is not possible to connect to the speaker. This is the only speaker affected by this issue, but it is no further from any of the others that are all connected on the Boost setup. Please let me know how to fix this problem.
I have moved to a new home. The names of the speakers on my SONOS system corresponds to the old house. How to reflect the speaker in each room of the new house? Thanks,
i can't find your bridge on your webstore, you have discontinued?
I am trying to connect my Sonos Play 5 to my samsung TV. The objective is to hear the TV output (sound from TV) from the Sonos system.
My wife is bothered by the light and the ongoing power drain. Is there a way to turn it off except by unplugging?
I have just bought 2 sonos ones. They seem to work OK, though I'm still getting used to them. However, the power socket cannot be pushed far enough into the connector in the base of the speaker to allow it to sit flush. The speakers therefore rock on the power cable sockets and do not sit firmly on the speakers four feet, which i'm assuming is what they are supposed to do. I do not want to force the socket any more than I already have. Anyone any ideas?
Hi, I love my sonos system but it does intermittently skip songs half way through. Can anyone help, my diagnostic number is 1123397452. Thank you in advance.....
Would like to tailor sound to room and content. Current bass and treble adjustments aren't sufficient.
