Hi Sonos community,Anyone having issues to install the Sonos official wall mount in a plasterboard wall?I drilled and installed a wall plug but the screws included with the kit won’t stop twisting… The Sonos Era 300 haven’t arrived yet but I tested with a similar weight and not feeling very confident as you can see the wall mount coming off a bit from the wall…Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance.
I have recently set up the Arc, Gen 3 woofer and 2 x Era 300s as surrounds. They are connected to a Prism Q65 Pro TV which I now know doesn’t have eArc and only has Arc, which is not really good. Problem I am having is I am not getting the real Atmos experience that I was sold on when I went to the SONOS showroom where you could really hear the sounds from above (great marketing). To try and overcome the lack of eArc I am thinking of purchasing the NVIDIA Shield Pro and using it to process the Dolby Atmos titles on the various streaming services. Can anyone provide me feedback on whether the Shield Pro is going to give me a better Atmos experience than what I am currently getting on the Prism TV? I get the Atmos logo when streaming but I am not convinced the upward firing channels are working. I am hoping the Shield will process the sound channels better. As I understand I connect the Shield to one of the HDMI ports on the TV and then still use the ARC port to connect the SONOS Arc
Hi. I noticed there are a lot of threads dedicated to this issue dating back to 2021, but none look like they were ever resolved. I have Sonos playbar + sub + 2 rear Sonos ones. A PS5 is connected to my Samsung Q90T via hdmi and a digital optical is connected to my Playbar. When I play games with Dolby or DTS (via ps5 audio setting) there is a noticeable lag when characters are talking in-game. When I switch to PCM via PS5 settings, the lag issue goes away, but it’s no longer 5.1 anymore. It’s stereo. I tried an eARC pass through adapter which worked for a little while (i think) then didn’t anymore. I was thinking of getting the Sonos Arc but read that people are still having the same issue, as are people with Sony and LG TVs. The PS5 is clearly the culprit, but Sony has done nothing to resolve or even acknowledge the issue. Has anyone figured out a solve?
As soon as I log in the 25% discount disappears and my basket is updated to include the 15% discount for upgrade instead. Is there any way to swap the discount % or should I just create another account? Is there a downside to ordering from another account?
Could someone tell me if I can use ROAM as front and/or rear speakers to create a 5.1 system?
Is it possible to have in the set up of a given room: a pair of stereo Sonos Five + 1 or 2 Era 100 or Era 300? Why? To get some sound in part of the room that is far away from the 2 Fives To get the Sonos Voice Control for the room :-) Thanks,
I recently added a Sub Gen 3 to my home theater setup. I now have an ARC / 2 Fives as surrounds/ and the Sub Gen 3 as my home theater setup. I need help with the settings, all suggestions are welcome. I will NOT be using Trueplay. 1.) Under Sound / EQ - does +4 or -4 equal more bass?2.) Under Sound / Sub Audio - It appears that this setting is for loudness only, is that correct? 3.) What is the difference between the two settings as mentioned above?4.) Just for fun - If someone ask you to turn up the air conditioner, are they asking you to make it cooler or warmer? Thanks in advance for your help.
I have my weekday alarm set to play Times Radio @ 5am weekday mornings and although the screen is saying that is what is playing, it is actually playing Classic FM ? This has happened 3 times now?

I have a Sonos Amp, and as part of my home air conditioning a Google tablet which I’d like to use to control the Sonos Amp.If I download the Sonos app, I need to run an update and get an error code 1101.I’ve called Sonos who said as the tablet doesn’t have a microphone, I need to buy a Sonos speaker with a microphone to set up Google Assistant, which means I can then control it via the Sonos speaker or the Google tablet. This sounds ridiculous to me. Is this right?
Hi I've just purchased a symfonisk picture speaker and I would like to play it along with a pair of sonos ones and a mini sub can this be done and how?
Cannot connect my Sonos app to the WD NAS
Over the past month or so, I've encountered several small but frequent issues with Spotify through Sonos. This is primarily but not exclusively when I use the Spotify app (I dislike the Sonos app).Includes things like:-When I start to play a podcast, it automatically jumps to another, completely unrelated podcast (not even the next one in a queue, or anything as sort-of logical as that). This will happen repeatedly. Eventually I can usually brute force it into playing the one I want but I can't identify the fix.-An album (not on shuffle) will simply stop playing at the end of, say, the third song. Or fifth. Or whatever. The completion bar remains near the end of the song and when I hit play, it will replay the song that just finished rather than move to the next.-No sound. A song or album will show as playing through the correct speakers in both Spotify and the Sonos app. Except it's not actually playing (maybe on some secret frequency the dog can hear- I'll ask her).-Sudden shift betw
Hi everyone,I've bought a new Sonos Arc and have some stains in the lateral grilles. I've changed it and the new one has the same problem.I've seen other people in the same situation.Could this oil stains affect internally or is only an aesthetic problem?
For a year or so, I’ve had no problems asking Alexa to play ‘My Soundtrack’ or anything else. I could look at my phone and using the Android App skip etc, now I can only pause, and I can’t see the track. If I start the music from the Sonos App - all works as expected - but - that kind of removes the point of using Alexa in the first place. I’ve tried removing/readding the skill, doing all the usual unplugging etc Anything else I can/should try?
Una vez configurado ya se puede enlazar con cualquier telefono por bluetooth?
I have an Arc + sub + 2 ones right now but am moving into a room where visually a sound bar would not be ideal. There are windows or doors on almost every wall. I’m planning to have a projector screen drop down when needed, which will cover a window, but otherwise would like to avoid seeing any hardware at all. So I’m wondering if I could do everything with in ceiling speakers. Can I do two Amps, 1 for the front pair to function instead of my Arc and a second rear pair as surrounds? And how terrible will this sound to me since I am currently used to the Arc?
If the Sonos (S2) app is reading Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 (or7.1) am I, in fact, receiving an Atmos signal? Or should the app be reading “Atmos”?
I’m looking for advice. I need a great Sonos setup for my daughters new hair salon. It’s 1700 sq ft. What do I need? Also looking for professional install in Bradley Beach, NJ

Hello! I moved into a new house that has passive speakers already installed: front left/right, back left/right. I’m trying to determine how I could use them with my existing Beam. From my research it seems like my options might beBuy a Sonos Amp for passive speakers and set up passive speakers as surround for Beam (I think only 2 passive speakers can be used because Beam is already a 2.1 device?) Buy a receiver and Sonos Port for passive speakers (I’m not sure if this would allow for surround sound with Beam?) Don’t use passive speakers and just use Beam. Thanks for any advice!
I am considering buying a few Move speakers to use both indoors and outdoors depending on how I am entertaining. The idea is to put one Move for background music in each of the kitchen, dining room, and study. Then, if I want to entertain in the backyard, I’ll place all three Moves outdoors. (I have a large backyard, so three Moves will not be overkill.) I do not plan on creating stereo pairs inside or out. My backyard has strong WiFi coverage. Will I run into any issues (e.g. audio syncing) if the Moves are not assigned to the same room when using together outside within the same area? I know I can group rooms to make controlling them easier. I am asking about audio quality. I expect it will be fine, but wanted to check.
