Sonos1 app will only find bridge. Unable to find rooms
Hello everyone,I am using right now this configuration in my living-room/tv :TV : 1 Playbar + 1 pair of Sonos 1 as surround + Sonos Sub Vinyl : 1 amp (cambridge audio) + 2 bookshelf B&W + 1 turntableI would like to mix the setup like thisTV : 1 Playbar + Sub + 2 Bookshelf B&W connected to the Sonos Amp (2019) as surround + turntable connected to Sonos AmpThe goal is to use ONE system for TV and/or vinyl (not at the same time of course). Can someone confirm the pair of B&W would have the same result as the two Sonos:1 as a surround ?Thanks for you help,Benjamin
Is it possible to have a pair of wall speakers that are wired to a CD player which I can opt to play music from my iPad wirelessly? Or must I have a have a separate pair of speakers for both sources?
My Sonos Play all of a sudden will not power on. It is approx 3 years old. Have difference power cords, reset etc. Any other ideas?
Do the stands I purchsed for SONOS PLAY 5 gen1 fit the new PLAY 5?
Hi,I want to connect my Sonos Arc (Center) with my pair of Sonos Play:5 (Front L+R) and a pair of Sonos One (Sourround L+R).My Issue: the Sonos S2 can only connect 2 Sonos One (Sourround L+R) as sourroud speakers (and a Sub) but no additional Front Speakers. What should I do?
My Playbar won’t connect to my Sony TV. I have tried two separate optical audio cables with no luck. The Playbar works fine to play music sources but shows as “No Signal” in the app. The light coming through the optical cable doesn’t seem as bright on my Sony TV as it does on the Samsung TV I have upstairs. Is it possible for the output signal to be too weak to transmit to the Playbar? The TV is older so I’m wondering if over time the optical output degrades? It’s the only thing I can figure is the issue. I have tested the Playbar upstairs on my Samsung TV and it works fine. I’m guessing it’s the TV but wonder if weak signal is possible and if so is there any workaround to get the Playbar connected. It’s a long shot I know but figured I’d ask to see if anyone else has had the same issue?
I have a Sonos connect V2 connected to a sound system in my office. I also have Sonos sl pretty distant from the sound system. When I receive phone call, I want to pause the Sonos group. As there is no pause button anymore on the connect V2 and the SL is too distant, I would like to know how to pause the system quickly without using the app. Is there any remote pause button control that exists to pause the system?
I just got this thing installed and, I have to say, I am really disappointed in how this thing functions. Forcing all control through the phone app sounds fine, but why can’t I just use the volume buttons when the phone is locked? I have to open the phone and then open the app to control volume? What a terrible experience, this is a major pain point. I was also expecting way more volume out of this thing, I have a little handheld that sounds just about as good. My TV remote “controls” the volume when watching TV, but is insanely slow. Why do I need to pull out my phone to reasonably control the TV volume? Did anyone do any usability testing on this?
Hello, looking for help in selecting the perfect setup and after reading everything i could on the Sonos site and in forums, im even more confused. Never had a Sonos system before. My old Yamaha receiver just dies so looking for something i can use throughout the entire house wirelessly. My needs are for mostly music, but will be playing the music from my TV (connected to Nvidia Shield that streams from various services). I also watch movies from time to time, but music audio is whats most important. Price is not an issue, looking for best quality possible and i do at times like to listen very loud.I'm trying to decide between:an Arc, Sub + Play1 x2 (concerned how music will sound with a 5.1 entertainment setup)VsPlay5 x2 + Sub (concerned about how to control this through my TV/NVIDIA Shield box?)VsArc, Sub + Play5 x2 (read online i cant play the Arc and Play 5 together with the sub. Not sure if that is true.)I also plan on peppering some Play1's around the house here and there and need
Recently purchased the Sonos 5 with the Pro-ject T1 phono SB. Had to purchase a separate RCA to 3.5 mm to connect to the speaker. Connected and working- HOWEVER can only hear faint music when volume on speaker is set to 100%. Know that is not the capacity of the speaker and after hours on chat to trouble shoot we are getting zero answers. Anyone else have this issue? PLEASE help!!!
I have 12 separate Sonos devices, all integrated with numerous Alexa devices and other “smart home” features. Everything works fine. Everything has worked fine for two months (since new internet provider). Then, suddenly, the S1 app quit working. We have rebooted the router NUMEROUS times, rebooted the modem, deleted and reinstalled the app. Hard wired individual speakers to the router. You name it. EVERYTHING in our Smart Home works except for Sonos. We can even control our Sonos speakers with Alexa. So we know there is no wifi issue. The app is required in order to group devices, though, so now I have very expensive “bricks” when it comes to my television and other speakers used throughout the home. EXTREMELY frustrated, as you can imagine. We even called customer support. Were place on hold for an hour, and received no substantive help. Any ideas?
Whenever I use any of the buttons on the 'Move' device there is a loud chime which is too loud. I can not find a way to stop the chime or reduce its volume.

All I would need is a line in from my dj controller to Sonos port? Wanted to confirm this before making the purchased.

Bought my Dad a Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable to connect to his Play:5 Sonos Speaker. He’s having Audio issues - Telling me the audio output is not playing all the music / sound. He says the RCA connection in the back of the Play:5 does not seem tight. It didn’t “click” into the speaker. Could it be the wrong cord Sonos sent me - any ideas would really help.
I see that SONOS doesn't support DAR.fm as a music service anymore. What can I use as an alternative to play back recorded radio shows through SONOS please? Thanks.
Hello. My Arc order has been on “Dispatch Acknowledged” for a couple days and was wondering how long the turnaround time is from this status to shipped? Thanks.
Hello everybody,I would need help setting up my home theater sonos. In the dining room I have the following products:1 sonon beam1 sonos sub2 sonos One2 sonos One SLFrom the sonos app I can create a room called the dining room, in the room I can correctly add the sonos beam, then the sonos sub, but when I try to add the surround, the app only makes me choose 2 out of the four “sonos one” available ( I can choose only two of the four available, but no more than two products) making me identify the one on the left and the one on the right. My question is:Is it possible that there is no way to associate four sonos ones (two in front and two behind) to the surround?I can create a group with all sonos products from the sonos app, but with the group I can only listen to music and I cannot connect the group to the TV like surround sound.Has anyone ever created a surround system by adding four “sonos one” ?If it isn’t possible, I think I'll have to return the last two sonos one sl.Thanks everyon
I am sitting in a house filled with Sonos speakers I can’t use.I actually have 2 houses filled with Sonos speakers that have become unusable.Anyone who’s bought Sonos products knows what they cost. I find it unbelievable that Sonos offers a 25% discount towards a trade-in.What they should do is replace them for free.I will never buy another Sonos products.Right now I’m listening to music on my Bose sound link. And in the future I will buy any other brand except for Sonos.
Hi Alljust installed my PORT to replace my old CONNECT. The PORT is connected to wired B&O speakers. Works fine, however when I stop playing music, approx 2 minutes later, a humming noise then starts to emit from the B&O speakers. Perhaps it has something to do with the trigger? Not sure how i can turn off the trigger to find out. Any suggestions welcomed to stop the low buzzing sound from my speakers, when inactive.
Hi everyone, I’m looking for some assistance if you’d be so kind. I have a Rega Plana 1 Plus Vinyl record player that I’d like to connect to my Sonos speaker system (Play 1 / Play 3 / Playbar). I believe I can do this through a Sonos Connect Amp. Is it as straightforward as plugging Turntable into Connect Amp > Connect Amp gives me the ability to connect and select which speakers to play out of? Happy to discuss how best to set this up (without breaking the bank completely). Thanks!
Seems the developers overlooked what is a standard UI/UX feature, that would allow us to drag and drop music into the Sonos app. This is frustrating and time consuming -- the UI/UX of the app requires us to jump through some hoops, which seems unnecessary. It would be great, for example, if I could simply import my existing Playlists, that I worked hard to create, from the Music app into Sonos. Makes perfect sense. Time for an app update? Am I missing an option that allows this?
since the last update messed everything and started again and now I am not able to do true play with my iPad 12 4th generation , and not supported iPhone 12 yet
