New sonos beam had it all connected fine from last friday then yesterday cannot seem to get the beam to connect to tv to have sound, done all the checks like unplug and do power cycle, everything seems to be right when I do the set up again the beam makes the chime sound but still no sound from tv. There is nothing else plugged in, its connected to my wifi aswell. 

Double check the TV’s settings, there may have been a firmware update that changed things, it’s happened to me before. I’d also recommend a reboot of the TV, by unplugging it from the wall for two minutes.
