heyI cant login, and I have been on profil, and reset and everything is coorect. But in the app I cant log in. What to do

Is there any way to get total control to the speakers while I’m not on the network.  Is there any other speaker that I should use instead?

Receiving a U-Turn Orbit turntable this month and need to get a speaker(s) for it.  Turntable will have a built in phono preamp and a Ortofon Red cartridge. I’ve started into the Sonos ecosystem with a Beam for my TV and a pair of Ones (Gen 2) to place around the house. My natural thought was to get a Five and use that. My question is two part…  First will a single Five be able to compete with a pair of powered bookshelf speakers like the Audioengine A5+ or the Klipsch R51 PM?   My house is open floor plan so the Five would be feeding a decent sized space.   Secondly, how do I setup the lossless feature for the turntable feed to the Five and can I stream that same quality to my other Sonos speakers without any glitches?

First post and new user.    I have the Sonos Arc (and gen 3 sub and dual SL rears) connected to an LG OLED C9 via eARC and HDMI 8K 2.1 cable and hard wired Cat7 Ethernet (Orbi WiFi 6 system). With both DirecTV and Apple TV I have started to get audio cutting out for a FRACTION of a second randomly. I have power cycled and made sure all have up to date software. I will remove the WiFi password tonight as recommended by Sonos when hardwiring. I have Dolby Digital/Atmos set to automatic.    Any other ideas?

I’m in the process of upgrading/trading my Gen 1 Play 5 and am seeing between and 2 speaker set of Sonos One or a single Play 5.  Which setup would work for music and also work with my Beam and TV?  Any thoughts would be helpful.  Thanks.

Hi,New on here and just looking for some advice, recently got a beam which I love but torn on which rear speakers to get?I am tempted by one SL’s as I can get discount on them and their size will help them blend in but as I don’t intend to get the subwoofer I’m also considering the IKEA Symfonisks, I’ve read these produce more bass than the one, is this correct? Their price is obviously more attractive too but the size of them not so much.Is the difference in sound quality of the ones worth the extra money when it comes to rears? Thanks 

I currently have an Arc and a sub on my TV set up. I’m wanting to go surround sound. I already have a play 5 gen2 and was wondering if I would be better off getting another play 5 and having them as the rear pair or getting 2no play 1SLs?

If I purchase the Surround Set, are the One SL speakers truly wireless or will they need to be plugged into an outlet or amp?

Hi , I noticed that inside the arc the center speaker stop working and I only sound come out from  the left and right speaker of the arc . After a minute , the center come back I change the HDMI cable , power off completely the TV LG UF6450 ( lastest firmware ) the problem occurred 5-6 times per day thanks for your help

Hi everyone Don't know if you can help. I watch a lot of you tube and tv (itv, netflix, prime etc) through my samsung tablet.  How do i watch this on my tablet but get the audio out of my new sonos one 2nd gen?  Via samsung "smart things' on my tablet i can choose the audio output to play through my google speakers and various blue tooth connected devices (headphones etc) but ill be blown if i can get it out my sonos??   Please help xx 

Hi, I would like drive two pairs of Magnat Symbol 130 speakers to one Sonos Amp.The specs. of the speaker says that the impedance is 4-8 ohms.I asked the company what they meant by 4-8 ohms. They answered as follows:“the impedance is 4 ohm and they also work in the range between 4-8 ohms.”Can I get an opinion if connecting two pairs to of these speakers work for my setup or:Should I stick with two pairs of 8 ohm only speakers Should I connect these speakers in series instead of parallelThanks in advance

Beam is set up with Sony XBR-65X950G-65.  After hard reboot of Beam, TV remote controls Beam volume as expected.  Next time TV is turned on, Beam has stopped responding.  Only power-cycling the Beam fixes the problem.  Issue has been present from day 1.Ideas?

Sonos being an Amazing Company with Fantastic Speakers. I have Play Bar, Play 5, Play 3, Play 1 x3 and Connect. Whenever I have a Party or Gathering  with friends. Everyone always says to me ... can you play this Song or Mix on YouTube through my Sonos Speakers and I have to say NO unless I download and convert it and then move it to my Tablet so that I can go to Play What's On This Device. By far the biggest downfall...

Recently, when I look at what sound is output on the SONOS App I always see “TV” even if there is a DD source.  I checked the TV setup and it is still on HDMI Arc/external sound.   Am I remembering wrong….did it always just say TV?How can I tell if the Sonos is getting a surround signal? I have Sonos ARC with sub + ones for surround and a LG OLED 2017 TV

My Denon 4400h has a HDMI output to feed Zone2 with both audio and video. Can I use that connection to feed the Sonos Amp using the HDMI input even though the output is audio and video and not specifically ARC.

I have a number of Sonos products connected on a strong WiFi network around my house. One of my Sonos Ones recently started to suffer from a very loud crackling/static noise during music playback. It happens more on moderately bass heavy tracks but is irritatingly intermittent. I have tried moving the unit between rooms but it presents the same wherever it is located.  I have seen a few threads where others experience similar faults but they mostly seem to have some sort of connection with a Playbar - mine does not - it is effectively a standalone speaker.Can someone please help? Hey there,i am trying to link up my new LG HU80KSW Presto projector with my existing Sonos system. There is no soundbar in my system, i have a series of Play 5 speakers. Is it possible to hook up the sound to the system?Thanks for the help, Dominik

Can you play music through playbar while listening to tv through SL1 in another room. When I have tv on both and try to swap to music on playbar they both stop.

But when i turn on the headphone the 5.1 Sonos setup is not (fully) muted. I keep hearing the sound but its cutting in and out every second or so. Sound on the headphones is fine. I changed some settings on xbox and OLED but i cant get it to stop unless i lower the volume on Sonos to zero ( green led ).At 1st i thought it was a problem with the headphones. I was using a Corsair HS75 XB headset which uses the xbox protocol for wireless connection. I changed to the Arctis ones which uses its own usb dongle but this didnt resolve the issue.

Hi. I am having trouble getting S2 windows app to work. When I select the installed app icon a orange Sonos logo appears in the middle of the screen ± 500x500 pixels. Then disappears without the controller loading.  I have tried: Uninstalling, removing from recycle bin, deleting the downloaded file. Re-downloaded and installed, with restarting the PC inbetween. Made sure the windows firewall allowed all the Sonos apps and options (private and public) Switched off my anti virus totally. Uninstalled and reinstalled while off.   None of the above seemed to work.   Please help guys, this is really frustrating. Am also struggling with support as I am from South Africa and we don't have any proprietary support here. The time difference makes it difficult to contact the US support team.

We play music and kids’ stories served from a windows server. This worked fine for years. After disabling SMB1 because it was 2020 and failing to get the http service to work (with or without firewall) I set up windows media streaming over what looks like RTSP.We use the Sonos Android app (12.2.2), and also the Windows one, less often. Navigating the metadata works as expected, but this is not generally how we use the app. It isn’t really feasible to browse, or even search, tens of thousands of objects, made up of four or five distinct collections, as a flat list. The way to do that is to use folders. But navigating by folder does not work as expected: the app browses and finds the content, but it does not treat the folder as a potential playlist. In contrast with other sources (I’m thinking SMB folders, Spotify, Amazon) it does not associate play/add functionality with the list it has found. There aren’t any buttons. Click on a track and it dutifully plays that track and then stops. I

I have been having 2 pairs of outdoor Polk speakers connected to a connect: amp for a year and now the sound is very low over 50 on the 4 speakers. any suggestions??
