Hi everyone.do you know where I can find a speaker stand for my play 5 gen 1 ?thank you
A programme broadcast on Radio 6 this morning for example would be accessible a matter of hours later vis Radioplayer or MyTuner. I have attempted this today but no BBC programmes from today appear to be available. This is the case if I look further back on programmes which would otherwise have been available. Has something altered with the licencing does anyone know ? I know the issues with Tunein but thought the other services had escaped for the moment.
Need an Annual plan like every other music service. No ads to subscribe, already subscribed; also like every other music service.
I have two CR100s with cradle & wall mount I put in my store prior to the OS update that was going to brick them. I am not searching back to find out the OS# but y’all know… They were working fine. At least one if not both had new batteries. They are physically good - one with a tiny mark when it was dropped. Is anyone still using them and could use two more? I’m not selling but would offer them for collection (preferred) or postage only to anyone that would use them in their system. UK postcode area G61 (Glasgow) though I’ll also probably be travelling down the M6 to Warwick & Bicester start of December. TBH I’ve no idea what is going on in Sonos land any more. Lost interest after this episode. Only really use 2/6 zones and majority of time for radio and S1 OS. Hey ho. The bundle The slight nick on corner of one controller
Can I use my Sonos One speakers to play my music saved on my matchbook Pro

Hi all, recently bought an Sony 65 inch X90J and are now looking to add a sound setup. Our TV-room is in the basement, height to ceiling is about 6,9 feet. The room is L-shaped and the TV is around the corner like the picture below. The distance from wall where tv stand to next wall where sofa is are about 10,5 feet. The totalt width is about 20 feet. Now we want a good all round setup without spending to much (ie sub, soundbar and rears). I am looking at either Arc alone, Beam gen 2 alone or Beam gen 2 with Ikea Symfonisk as rear. Given the room layout which option do you think will do best?
Hi. To start, I have the full setup with the Arc paired with the two SL’s and the sub. I’ve had this setup for about two months now. While watching a movie last night I could have sworn I heard something funky in a left to right audio pan on a scene. Because of which I fired up channel/panning tests on YouTube and one Netflix. Every front left/right test is REVERSED! When left/right rear speaker tests run they are correct accordingly. I am absolutely baffled. I almost want to believe the left/right channels were wired reversed when being assembled in production. Seeing how there is no way to change the channels via software, what am I supposed to do?
Hi all I have a Sonos Arc and subwoofer gen 3 and I paired my Play two Play 1s that I have had for several years as the 2 rear surrounds. Am I shortchanging myself by not using the Sonos ones that are newer or will the sound be the same. Additionally what would be a better sionos speaker back there short of Sonos 5 which is very expensive Thank you
I have older Sonos speakers that aren’t compatible with the updated controller. I’ve figured out how to have the app on my phone stop asking me to update. But every time I open the controller on my laptop, I’m asked if I want to update the app/controller and I have to say “Not Now.” But I’d love to say, “Stop asking me about this because you’ve gone on and left me here with your old tech and when these speakers die, maybe I’ll buy new ones that are compatible with your update. But until then, my hands are tied. And you won’t shut up about it. And it’s making me hate you.” So… little help?
I already have a pair of Bronze Audio 50 speakers hooked up to my sonos amp with the hdmi arc connected to my TV. I’m considering picking up a central speaker, the BA C150. Is it possible to connect this to the amp also, and can anyone see a benefit to the setup or drawbacks?
Since upgrading my iPhone to iOS 15 I am no longer able to control my Sonos S2 volume controls using the physical volume button on the phone. I have turned the option off and back on again in App Preferences with no success. Is this perhaps a known issue? Thanks.
Hello,We would like to create 5.1.2 channel Home Theater system with Sonos Ceiling speakers. As we have done some research, we see that it is not possible to get both surround and Sub effect with only one Sonos Amp. So we were wondering, should we use 2 Amps and 5 in-Ceilling speakers for 5.1.2 channel system? If not, it is possible to use Sonos Arc, Sonos Sub, Sonos Amp and 2 in-Ceilling speakers as Home theater and also 5.1.2 channel system? Is it possible to get Sub effect from only in-Ceilling speakers? It would be great if we can get an answer.Thank you,Have a great day.
I have two play 1 and one play 5 - all gen 1, and a bridge (gen 1). I see no need to combine them with a sonos 2 on the same system, but I’d like to connect sonos to bluetooth headphones as a gift. I don’t think there is a way to do that with sonos gen 1. So buy a sonos 2, and use it in the same house, for this purpose? I know I could use a music streaming service right off the phone for this person, but I’m sure he wouldn’t want to run down his phone. thanks -
Hi there, I know this question has already been asked, and I know how to get this info, normaly given on the “about my system” screen on the Sonos app.And I get the information when I use my beam with my TV (as input). But when I use it with the Sonos App or Airplay as input, there is no indication (field is blank).I also have a Roam, for wich the “audio output” field does not exist. So my guess is that this information is given only when using the Beam with input set to TV. Still, is there a way to get this information with the other input modes ?
I am moving into a new house with a 7.1 prewire for ceiling speakers in the living room, two speakers in the kitchen, and two outside. I would like to be able to play music on all 3 zones or have 7.1 system playing whatever is on the TV while also playing music on the other 2 zones (if I can’t do this, it’s not a deal breaker, but I want to be able to play music on all 3 zones for sure). What is the best way to accomplish this with Sonos? All music will be the same source, but I don’t always want the music on each zone, so I’d like to choose which zone it plays on.These will be non sonos branded speakers if that matters. Do I buy a receiver/amp that can run multiple zones and then one Sonos port for all 11 speakers? I would like to queue music either with my phone, google home, or a Brilliant switch. Would this be possible without having to run over to a physical box somewhere and change an input? Thanks for the help!
I own a Sonos Arc, 2 One SL's and 2 Subs in a home theater configuration. The Arc is connected to a Samsung TU8000 TV via EARC. I was excited to see that Sonos released a DTS firmware update, but I was let down when I realized my television doesn't pass thru DTS or multichannel PCM from my Sony Blu-ray Player and the Blu-ray player doesn't convert DTS to Dolby Digital on the fly. As a result, all I get when playing DTS blurays is stereo 2.0 PCM. Is there a workaround that doesn't involve the Arcana Fury for example to get true 5.1 audio with a DTS disc? I'm afraid I already know that the answer is no; therefore, I don't get all the hype involved with Sonos releasing a DTS update. Thanks in advance for any answers!
I love the performance and function of my Sonos speakers, but I’m tired of the cult-like following required for me to use Apple devices so I switched from an iPhone to a Samsung Galaxy s21. Now I’ve learned that Sonos and Google aren’t friends and that I have to choose between the phone I much prefer over the speakers I enjoy. It looks like Google lost the patent lawsuit and hopefully pays Sonos whatever you’re due, now can we please support casting so I don’t have to deal with mom & dad’s quarrel? I paid a premium for your speakers, and my phone, but I can’t send the audio from the apps I want to use to my speakers because why again? The app that I’m trying to use is White Noise by TMSOFT because it helps me sleep and there aren’t any good continuous alternatives on Sonos or Pandora Compatibility isn’t a lot to ask.Scott
I own 4 Sonos AMP and they do not go on stanby, never.I’m measuring power consuption and its always 64W.They are connected by ethernet cable and with wifi disabled.Any idea how to put them on standby?PS: I know they supposedly go in standby after 3 minutes without usage. Not my case :(
Spotify on laptop amd phone wont connect to either of my 2 sonos speakers in my second sonos system. My phone spotify connects correctly on my first system at a different location. Any ideas how to resolve this ?
Can anyone please recommend a managed ethernet switch. I am struggling to connect more than one Sonos device at a time as I am getting a loop. I know only one needs to be plugged in but my router is upstairs and I would like to connect at least one of the downstairs devices to sure up the signal and need it to get to the garden room as it is a weak signal. I can get it to work if I was able to connect the kitchen play 5 which is the closest to the garden room.Thank you
I really would like Sonos to add the ability to play my Windows sound on the Sonos Devices, with Apple it is possible, so please add this to Windows to.
I have a Beam (1st gen) and two supporting One SL speakers left and right of my TV, in a compact set-up in a small room. I also have a Blu-ray player connected to the TV. I recently dug out my old CD collection and realised I’d like to play them again through my Beam and One SL speakers, but independently of the TV i.e. not using the Blu-ray player. The idea is I’d like to play my CDs without switching the TV on, or to have something else on the screen without needing to keep it on the Blu-ray input for the sound. Is there any way I can do this, if I was to purchase a small standalone CD player which could just connect directly to the Beam? I realise I only have the HDMI port at the back of the Beam, which is currently connected to the ARC-compatible port on the TV.Ideally I wouldn’t want to disturb my existing set-up too much, as it’s a compact space and hard to access at the back. I appreciate there’s probably not a workaround for what I’m looking for, but thought I’d give it a chance
