Portable speakers

I’ve been running two ones and a move on S1. They are all supposedly S2 compatible, but when I went to switch, S2 says the Move is not compatible.  This clearly should not be the case.  How do I get the Move to work on S2?   I don’t mind removing it, factory resetting it, etc., but just don’t want to go down a road where I have an unusable speaker.  Thanks.  

I’ve had SO MANY ISSUES with the Sonos Roam! It wouldn’t connect to my WiFi network for the longest time until I connected it to a random friend’s network and then shut it down and then tried mine again. I finally connected SONOS to WiFi but it still barely connects to my router which has extremely high speeds (I even worked with the router company to sort it out). The real problem though is with Bluetooth because the music CONSTANTLY skips and sometimes even warps the sound (the key of the song will become distorted at random points). There is nothing wrong with my connection because my phone is literally right next to the speaker and I keep putting it different places but the issue keeps happening… So disappointed and every time I contact customer support they ask me redundant questions and have me go through the same processes that don’t resolve anything. Anyone else experiencing this? Sonos roam abroad! Set my Roam up in UK and no problem, I bought the roam after years of great use from my other Sonos products.took the Roam on holiday and Bluetooth worked fine on the first day. my phone logged onto the local network through Wi-Fi and then all the problems started with the roam. The Bluetooth stopped working and also the app stopped working and it wanted to update. Now I have a ‘brick’ carrying around with me as it wo t let me do anything. I have tried to reset and connect nothing?

FYI, You cant stereo pair MOVE speakers while on Bluetooth. DO NOT WASTE TIME TRYING.SONOS does not tell you this and most people assume it when they purchase them. I personally would not have bought my first MOVE speaker or the second MOVE speaker later if I knew it could not form a true stereo pair while in Bluetooth. I now have spent 800.00 on something I did not need and I feel I was misled on. I should have done much more investigating prior to purchase. Maybe hired someone. And it was not easy to find out that Bluetooth pairing did not work after hours of trying post purchase. I am not very happy with the deliberate hiding of this by SONUS. I love the sound that they produce while hooked to WI-FI but they knowingly hid the fact that it will not do a stereo pair while on Bluetooth. JUST WRONG! Shareholder/Stock price over customers does not work in the long run. SAD AND DISAPOINTED.

I brought my Sonos Roam to the hotel I’ll be at for 2 weeks. The wi-fi here doesn’t require a login.  How can I prevent others (who are on the same wi-fi) from connecting to my Roam? It has already happened three times .. including once in the middle of the night when my white noise was interrupted by someone’s dance music (!). 

Since I updated to 13.3 my Roam is connecting to Bluetooth when I wake it instead of just WiFi.  It does seem to connect to WiFi as well but now it is also connected to my phone.  This occurs when I wake using the power button and the play button. Is there some way to prevent it from doing this?

Hi, I have two Sonos One speakers, and a Sonos Beam. They all work wirelessly, and have been working for about one year with not a hickup. Now they periodically disapear, and cannot be controlled from AirPlay, and cannot be found in the app. Sometimes I can connect them again by power-cycling them. I read a few of the forum posts here, and they all mention IP address problems, so I pulled up the client list on my router, but all of them have seperate IPs, and no other connection to the router share the IP. I also read about switching from one Access Point to another Access Point, but they all go through the same AP. Factory reset did not work either. I am about to give up on ever using the speakers again, after several days of troubleshooting. And Yes. I have power cycled the router, switches and AP, as well as the speakers in the correct order.  

I bought a Roam and added to my system.  After a week or so it stopped working.   I’ve replaced it, but I cannot seem to get the old Roam off of my app and the new one is now listed as Roam 2.   Looking online it seems I should have an option in the IOS app to remove it, but my app doesn’t have that option. How do I get the app to forget the old product?

Hoping for some help from Sonos experts out there!I picked up the Roam on Friday primarily as a quality portable speaker that I take to multiple work sites. I have 3 other home Sonos devices and this seemed like a great addition with an existing Sonos system. It also is probably the best sounding speaker in its class. 2 major issues:Wifi connectivity is limited to my home network.  I have wifi at my work locations. I was hoping that I could use this to connect to those networks and play music without using my iPhone. It seems it is limited to just your home Sonos wifi network. I could reconnect to the new wifi, but that is very difficult when my Sonos system is not on them. So unless there is hidden support for multiple wifi networks, I am limited to using it as a Bluetooth speaker away from home.    Bluetooth will not stay connected.  So resigned to using this as a Bluetooth speaker linked to my iPhone, I paired it easil

Hello guys! My Sonos Move does not start, my cat has destroyed the charge base… So I am trying to charge it with USB-C instead, and what happens is that the status light flashes twice, at the same time as the second flash, the microphone light flashes and then these two stop. Then the battery light is constantly lit orange / red and nothing more happens. I have tried with four different chargers and several different cables, the same result all the time. Do you think the battery has run out or could it be something else?

I no longer have my Sonos Roam device and I cannot remove it from the Sonos S2 app, the app says a problem with the product not found

I’ve recently moved apartments, so I can’t rule out a myriad of variables. But: wow. My system has gone absolutely haywire recently. Components simply disappear for no clear reason (my paired One SLs, but also my Roam, just completely drop-out of sight). Airplay has essentially stopped working without a crazy amount of hiccuping. The S2 app will fail to connect to a device that is clearly playing music. And, what convinced me to write this message: my Ones are playing music right now that is not in any queue and not controllable by either S2 or Apple Music. It’s like the things are haunted. I’m going to go for a factory reset on the Ones, but— just wondering whether there’s some kind of system-wide glitch happening right now (since I noticed that there’s an alert from Sonos concerning Google Assistant. Hi, my Roam speaker stopped working.  Became completely dead.  There was only a small LED at the bottom that shone red.  Anyone else had similar problems?

Why has there been zero information sent out by Sonos marketing, (i get at least one email a day), addressing the defective design of the Roam speaker and an offer to replace with a different product or give refunds no questions asked? There are too many topics on the dead battery, inability to charge, temperamental connectivity, draining battery, useless charging base and all around poor design to even figure out what is the true overall percentage of these things that have been sold that aredefective. Either out of the box or within a very short time frame? 

Firstly,I can setup two paired Roam in my room successfully.But can not add Sub(Gen 3) in my room.In Apps, All device is appeared.What can I do?

Sonos Roam connected via Bluetooth with iPhone XR with iOS 14.x.Sonos app updated, Roam firmware updated.I regularly experience what I call ‘hiccups’, that’s to say every few minutes, with Roam in Bluetooth mode, the audio interrupts for less than a second and than restarts.It happens on a regular basis, no problem in Airplay or in the Sonos system, though. I’ve already sent the diagnostic (1334768659) shortly after the last event. Anyone else?Any idea?Thanks a lot

I just purchased the Roam and have been trying for a few hours to connect it to the Sonos app on my phone. I received a message stating that setup was successful, but it may not show up in system and to follow certain steps if that happens. Will it is not showing and I've tried following the instructions and even resetting all items, multiple times. When looking at my wifi it shows it's connected, but not in the Sonos app. Any advice would be much appreciated, otherwise I guess I'll be returning.  Btw - I'm using an Android phone with the latest Sonos app and have the Xfinity router.

I can’t get my roam speaker to hold a charge. 

I bought the Sonos Roam on vacation to listen at the pool.  It does not connect to WiFi, bluetooth or apple airplay and is just basically a paper weight.  Luckily for me the tech support guys dont work on the weekend so I have no one to help me. WHAT A WASTE AND FALSE ADVERTISING!

I have multiple Sonos products, from the ARC to Play 5’s, Move, One’s and recently bought the Roam along with a friend of mine. The Roam issues:Battery seems to drain very quickly Bluetooth re-connection issues Playback issues, where it plays then just stops playingIs there a “fix” for this or is this the standard Sonos are now being measured by?If anyone asks me what the Roam is like and is it worth buying, I would have to say “No” based on my experience so far.  Not good Sonos  

Help with Roam, please.I have 2 Roams. One white and one black. The white Roam is working fine. However for the past couple days the black Roam has been appearing as "offline" on my Sonos app and I cannot reconnect it to my system. Furthermore, when I try to use the "Find my device" feature in the Sonos App to try to repair the connection, the App says that I need to update my App, which is not true as I have the latest update and my App is set to automatically update anyway.  When I try to update the App manually, the Sonos app freezes. The App issue and the Roam issue may be two separate issues but they are definitely related in so much as I can't even begin to re-connect my black Roam because the "find my device" function is frozen at the "update your App" stage. The black Roam is fully charged and works on Bluetooth.Wi-fi signal quality is not an issue either because I have tested the white Roam next to the bla

I have a Roam for my Bathroom upstairs (maybe BathRoam?)    I have two Sonos Ones paired in stereo in my living room, downstairs. My question is,  when I clean etc. I want to be able to have the same thing playing on all three speakers.  How can I do this, and then separate them again, most easily?   Thank You!!

Hi,I have a set of Sonos speakers (S3, S1, SOne and SMove). What I see regularly is that the other speakers lose the IP address/connection and can’t return. The strange thing is that the Sonos Move does not seem to have this problem at all. And the problems started to occur when the Sonos Move entered the system.I see the same thing happening with my parents that have a more or less the same setup.Sonos:1x Sonos 11x Sonos One1x Sonos 31x Sonos MoveWifi:3x UAP-nanoHD - 5.43.19.124931x US-8-60W - 5.43.18.124871x USG-3P - 4.4.52.5363511I'm reaching out in this forum and not in Unifi's support channel since the Sonos devices are the only ones that have this behaviour. 

Received my Roam today and it looks and sounds great.  However, I get a message that it doesn’t work with WiFi extenders.  What’s the point?  All of my other speakers (8 in total) work fine. I initially bought this to “roam” my property, but am having trouble on a fast Internet/WiFi setup.  I get WiFi on every other device in our area of use, but not the Roam. Please fix in a software update.
