I just installed a TCL 58” tv in my rear yard patio under the pavilion. I have two, paired Sonos speakers also under this same pavilion. How do I get the TV sound to go through my Sonos speakers?

Warning: no home audio knowledge!We just moved into our new home. The prior owner had installed two passive ceiling speakers in the back of the living room. There are two wires coming out of the wall, each with a black and red wire. I will be installing a frame TV on this wall.I have used a beam as my TV speaker in the past, and I’d like to continue to use it along with the ceiling speakers. My question: what’s a good/low effort setup for what I have now? Do I need to purchase an AV receiver? If so, can I use the beam with it? Do I use the Samsung One Connect, or just use the AV receiver?Or should I buy another Sonos product to get everything to work together?Thanks!

I have a Playbase. When I power off my Sony TV with the sleep option, the next morning I cannot change the volume with my IR remote. If I use the app or the physical button on the Playbase to change the volume, it “wakes up” the Playbase and then the remote works. This symptom started in the last month (may/june 2024). No update was installed on the TV close to that time. If I just power off/on the TV, the symptom does not appear.Thanks in advance for any help

Hello,I had 2 Era 100 and a mini sub. I listened music with Airplay and Vinyle (jack adaptator).i just bought a Sonos Arc to make a surround system. But it seems I can’t listen to my vinyle now …is there any solution ? I’m a little bit disappointed.Thank your for your help !Anthony

I have several Sonos speakers throughout my house, including a beam connected to a TV as well as a Playbar connected to another TV. Until recently (possibly coinciding with the app update), the TV-connected beam was showing up as one of many speakers from which I could play music from my Sonos app, but it recently disappeared. Now, if I want to play music from the Beam, I need to go to my Spotify app on the Smart TV and play it that way, and am unable to group it together with other speakers throughout the house. Does anyone know how to correct this?

When I turn on the Samsung TV the sound bar volume is normal and then fades to nothing and I have to increase the volume back up to a normal level.

Would it be possible to support the DTS formats especially DTS:X? I recently replaced my Onkyo amp that had support for all DTS with Sonos equipment and am disappointed to find whilst watching a movie it won’t work with DTS. Seems to downmix to stereo pcm which sounds ok but think it could be sounding much better if in correct format.

I’m trying to connect my home theatre with a Samsung q75, I have the arc soundbar connected via optical out and an amp connected via EARC with Sonos in ceiling speakers. Is there a way to have dual output so we can have sound through both the soundbar and the in ceiling speakers all controlled by the tv remote? TIA  

I just purchased a Sony Bravia XR-77ACL. I have an Arc and two Era 300 speakers. When streaming through my 4k Apple TV, everything sounds great; however, my Sony Blu-Ray player has  some trouble. While I found that a few discs are labelled as Dolby Atmos and sound great, most Blu Rays play PCM 2.0. Is there any setting I can get that would help engage the Era speakers and improve audio? I’m using 2.1 hdmi cables all around and the Arc is connected to the EArc port. 

I have the Arc, Sub Gen 3 and 2 x one SL's, can I buy a Move 2 and when not using it on holiday can I make it part of the entire system as an extra speaker?

I’m struggling to find any documentation on this that doesn’t relate to the Beam Gen 2. Is it possible for the Beam Gen 1 to support two Era 100s as surrounds, and if so would that be 7.1 surround or only 5.1? (I have a Sub Mini and Beam Gen 1 currently as the only parts of my home theatre set up). (Also, is it worth investing in surround rears when they’ll have to sit beside the couch rather than behind? It’s a small enough room! Thanks so much)

Sonos sub stopped working

Hello,I want to buy 2 Era speakers so that i can connect them to my Beam (gen 2) but the speakers will have to go on the floor. I don't want them to reverberate on the floor…...would i just use ordinary sub woofer feet or is there something special i should buy?

Title says it all. It is the height of hubris for these twits not to have rolled back to the old app (Yellow Icon) after this utter abomination. I truly cannot understand why you would stick with this piece of *.  Didn't discover my old system. That is bad enough. But I tried like 7 times to add a new system and to add my Arc and Move. Do yourself a favor and add only one IF you can get either to stick. Adding the other kicks everything off the “System” and you could keep trying, but it's the definition of insanity to try multiple times and get another result. Turning off Private Relay doesn't make a difference either. If I can have EITHER my Arc or Move, I'll take the Arc because I need it for my TV. Atrocious. Customer care went the way of the dinosaurs. I choose Sonos years ago for the simplicity of adding crap via my wifi connection. When it comes time to dump this ridiculously bad hardware/software combination, I will NEVER EVER buy Sonos again and I will urge anyone who will list

Pretty disappointed to spend $400+ on two Era 100s only to find out they will not connect to my Beam through my Xfinity Wi-Fi. Submitted diagnostics that were escalated to engineering and they provided no answers. Again, disappointing to say the least. Speakers do not perform as advertised.

Bought the Sonos Arc, HD Fury Arcana, and Hue Syncbox. The TV is a Sony 75” with just arc HDMI port. I have multiple devices: Apple TV 4K, Tivo, nVidia Shield and Nintendo switch.I would like to connect these to the Hue Syncbox’s input then connect its output to HD Fury Arcana’s input. For those who have this setup, any issues or concerns I should be aware of ? thank you !

How do I remove a stereo pair of era 100s and add them as surrounds instead? It keeps saying there's a problem and to check my network, but it's all on the same one.

My Era 300s won't connect to Arc as surrounds. Keep getting error. Initial tech support help had me reboot router, Arc, and Era 300's a few times but no success. Second level tech has offered very little help. He emailed and had me repeat process but still no success. VERY frustrated as this issue has been going on for 2 weeks. This past weekend I was able to get them to connect twice but no sound from Era 300's and the "add surrounds" in the Arc settings never disappeared. 

Not able to connect Bluetooth or WiFi to my Sony play bar

Hi - My tv and cable box are in separate rooms. I use an HDMI transmitter to send the cable box single to the TV.  For a while I have been using an audio extractor plus the Sonos optical to hdmi adapter to also send audio from the cable box to my Sonos Amp to play through outdoor speakers (in case I want to listen to the TV outdoors). Worked great. I then got a new TV and updated to the new Sonos app and something broke.  When I try to setup tv in the Sonos app for the AMP with cable box on (sending audio) I get “checking connection” for a while and then this message: “No signal detected. Make sure digital optical adapter and HDMI  able are securely connected…”It worked perfect before.  Only thing that has changed is a new TV and new Sonos App.  Anyone else encounter this problem and have a fix?  As audio is coming from cable box I assume type of tv makes no difference here so must be the new App I tried connecting hdmi broadcast directly from cable box and using RCA input as well (RCA

Hi all. I have bought Ace headphones but they aren’t compatible with my playbar. I have a HTK consisting of the Playbar, original sub and 2x S1’s. If I upgrade the player to a beam, will the sub still work with it?  thanks in advance 

I Just bought a sonos arc and i am trying to instal it but if i want to instal it and i am by th audio pin fase the app doesn't connect to the audio pin and if i want to put in the code manualy the app kicks me out if the app. What can i do?

Hi,I’ve been connecting two Era100 to a Beam in a surround-sound configuration over Wi-Fi since I bought them a couple of months ago. The router is MikroTik that is pretty good at band steering. After the app was updated about a week ago it all stopped working. Even if I connected the two Era100s to the beam, all I hear is the Beam. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hello I bought a Sonos soundbar arc gen 3 and sub,but the era 300 rear speakers need plug sockets and I don't have any behind me,any ideas on the best way around this please?Thank you.

Hello! I recently purchased a Sonos Beam (Gen 2), and Sonos Sub Mini. The Beam works great and I have thoroughly enjoyed it for all of its uses. But the Sub Mini is giving me some issues.  For background, I am able to connect the Sub Mini to wifi, and I am able to assign it to the Beam in the app. However once it is connected it does not show in the app and it does not provide any bass at all. As in the cones are not moving one bit inside the tunnel.  I’m not sure what the issue could be. I have tried unplugging it, disconnecting it, resetting the sub to no avail.
