I am planning to but a ARC S19 system as I found a good price for it.
I know it is the older version but my question is, will I be able to connect it to other speakers / Sub in the future? does it support it?

Welcome to the Sonos Community and thank you for your post.
The Arc is currently the only model of that name - as in, there is no newer or older version of it. It is compatible with Sonos app, but not with S1, which is mainly for older products. Here is a guide that should keep you on track with compatibility.
For example, all current Subs work with the Arc.
