After APP Update, the TV shows SPDIF connections in the APP, eventough i still is connectet via e-HDMI (The only chance i APP) upgrade. I cant reconnect the ARC in the APP but it still works. Last picture is the errormessage.  

I have a Sonos ray and trying to use it as a speaker with a MacBook m2. I have tried airplay but It’s annoying as it loses connection every time so I got a cubilux usb-c to optical cable output adapter but still no luck. Any helpers out there please?

I’m having problems getting voice (audio) synchronized with people’s lips in the video. I have a Sonos Arc connected to the HDMI port on an LG OLED77C3PUA.AUS TV.The TV has a Voice Sync option which seems to help sometimes, but I seem to have to use different settings for each TV show or video. I also tried the audio bypass which disables the voice sync and that sometimes helps, but not always. The build in speaker doesn’t have this problem.I haven’t tried the TV Dialog Sync in the Sonos App yet. Maybe that will help.Between the TV and ARC there are an overwhelming number of settings. I hope that software updated in the future will take care of this problem automatically. I see no reason that the user should have to make adjustments to compensate for the delay caused by HDMI. The hardware should take care of this automatically.

Hello - I have the Arc plugged into the ERC hdmi port. The Arc works great by itself with my Apple TV remote with turning volume up and down and muting. I also added two eras to the living room group with the Arc. when I volume up/down and mute/unmute - it only controls the Arc that is plugged in direct to the TV. It doesn’t control the other Era speakers that are in the same living room group. How can I get all of the speakers to volume up/down , mute/unmute together when using my TV remote?

When will you be able to pair four surrounding speakers to a home theater connected to a tv.

Hi All I have a LG TV connected to the Arc with Era 300 surrounds & sub. This plays Dolby Atmos content very well. However I would like to add my main stereo amp and speakers to the mix because these are a much higher quality than the Arc. So I have a Port connected to the stereo amp and it’s in the same group as the Arc. It plays the same content however there is a timing issue between the port & arc which makes it impractical. I have played with all the sync delay setting on both as well as an added the arc to a wired network to get the benefits of the Sonos private network. Alas, not luck.  Has anyone tried this before. Will it help if I used a Sonos Amp to drive the speakers directly instead instead of the Port + amp. NB, I don’t want to use it as surrounds but as synchronized from stereo speakers playing in sync with the arc while playing atmos (or any other) content.

Sometimes my Sonos produces no sound from my Samsung TV when I first turn it on. I turn the tv on and off a few times and sometimes that fixes it. Other times, I have to power cycle everything to get Sonos and my tv talking. Why does this happen randomly? Is it a bug or possibly a network issue?

Hello, I have recently acquired a Sub Mini for my room, wich is already including a Beam and 2 One SLBut when I try to add the Sub on the application, it’s impossible to find the wifi to connect. Every other step is working except this one. I have the possibility to put the wifi name myself, but didn’t work either.I think that I can manage myself with tech, and I truly don’t understand what’s the problem.The wifi is working fine, I tried to put the sub just next to the router, I made sure to have the 2.4 GHz ok.Never had this before, and I quite don’t know what to do. I tried the support, but after one hour waiting for my turn, the support went off… I have heard that the new app is having issues, and I don’t know if maybe this is the problem, of if it is coming from the sub itself ?Thank you for any help.

Good Morning, wanted some assistance in this as I’m having plenty of client including myself with an issue. I have a Sonos arc, 2 sub gen 3’s and a pair of era 300s . Arc and subs are hardwired to network. All products have been solid on this UniFi network with no issues. I have Sonos arc connected into  the HD fury arcana with its provided hdmi and a hdmi to the tv from the arcana. Finally a hdmi from the arcana to the source which is Apple TV 4K. Tv is a Sony with only arc hence why I am using a arcana to get Dolby atmos which it is. The issue I’m having is the rears are cutting in and out. Now I have client that have this same issue but they have no middle device like I do since I have an older tv. Any idea what it can be? Are other experiencing issues of audio cut out? 

I have updated to 16.1 and I have noticed a significant degradation in the bass of the Sonos Arc, and the dialogues feel a bit flat. I have performed Trueplay around 11 times in different ways, but it's the same, nothing changes. Additionally, my maximum volume for 5.1 movies and Atmos was around 65%, now I have to reach 75-80%. For horror movies where there are screams, it distorts the voices, which didn't happen before. For music, I now have to manage it at 80 or 90%, whereas before, 65 to 70% was more than enough; some songs were even too loud at 70%. I have factory reset the Sonos Arc and the Sub Gen 3, disconnected the HDMIs, changed cables and ports, but nothing works. Currently, my setup includes the Sonos Arc, Sonos Sub Gen 3, dual Sonos Era300 as surrounds, and Apple TV. I just spoke to Sonos support today, and they said it's normal, they can't do anything about it. Does anyone else have the same issue? What a disappointment that I can't revert to the previous firmware version

Hi all,just to let you know if can help, I’m testing the PureLink CSC200 adaptor to have Dolby Atmos on my Sonos Beam2 connected to an old Samsung TV that has only an ARC HDMI port and, using as input a Fire TV 4K, trough the adaptor I can reproduce correctly Dolby Atmos on Netflix and Disney+ at a third of the price of the HD Fury ARCANA. Really fantastic!!! 😁

If there is already a solution, please let me know. What I would like to accomplish is this:In my living room, I have a Sonos surround sound system for watching TV and movies, as well as a turntable for when I want to sit down and enjoy some music. The frustrating part is that means I have two redundant systems in my living room, that don’t benefit from each other. For Movies and TV I have a Sonos Beam 2, Mini Sub, and two Sonos Ones as surround. Then, to each side of the Mantle I have the Beam sitting on, I have two Sonos Fives so I can plug in my turntable and enjoy vinyl. Here’s where the frustration comes in, If I want to add the Sub to the Fives, I have to go into the app and disconnect and reconnect the sub, then do that again the next time I want to turn on the TV. It seems logical to me, that Sonos would allow me to add the Sonos Fives as L+R channels, allowing the Beam 2 to focus solely on the center channel dialog, and Atmos signals. Hi all!Still getting used to the new app, and noticed something that is intriguing me:On previous app, if Trueplay was on, Sub Gen 3 phase was grayed out. In the new app , even white Trueplay on, Sub Gen 3 phase is not grayed out and it I possible to set to 0 or 180. Is this working as it is intended and Sonos changed this or is it needed to perform a new Trueplay calibration ?

When using “Dolby Atmos” setting on PS5 I get zero audio out of the Era 300s.Tried many settings and nothing. When set to LPCM they get very very quiet audio, but also not what I would consider to be surround audio (footsteps of character playing Stellar Blade)The App says Dolby Atmos so that part works. Any suggestions?Edit - Okay just seen on Reddit - What a shame. “If you are using any Dolby Surround system that has rear speakers as an example, don't set your PS5 to Dolby Atmos when playing Stellar Blade. The sound will only come through the front speakers, without propper surround sound.Set your PS5 to "Linear PCM" and the number of channels you are using. With this you will get propper surround sound.” 

Hi, I’m looking to hardwire my beam in order to utilise the SonosNet solution...will this work if the Beam is part of a home theatre setup?The general page states that a surround sound speaker or sub can’t be used but it wasn’t clear whether that also included the beam.thanks,Jason

Hi, I’m looking for a switch to select between inputs from a TV, (new) and an old hifi system.  I’ve got an analog to digital converter for the hifi system and using its optical output can connect it to the Sonos Beam gen 2. Likewise I can connect the tv to the Sonos Beam but I’d like a switch to avoid having to unplug the hdmi cable every time I change the source. What is the best switch solution for me?  Thank you. 

If i link my sonos arc to a new samsung tv and then use google cast from my android to the tv...will the sound come out through the arc.

I am looking to buy a Sonos Arc for my large great room. It’s 18.4’ x 19’ with the open dining room behind (11’ x 19’) and open kitchen to right side (29.4’ x 18’). All together the space is very large but the couch is in the great room space. I plan to have rear Origin Acoustics (D81) in ceiling for rear surround. I also plan to buy the Sonos subwoofer. Thoughts on this setup?  

Hi. I used to have a Denon/B&W setup, and mostly used “Multi Channel Stereo” setting (stereo output in front and back speakers). I have Arc, 2x One and Sub. To achieve the same with Sonos, I have to :1. Setup the two back speakers (One) as stereo pair2. Start audio output from TV (ARC)3. Add them to the TV-outputIt would have been nice to be able to choose if the setup should be bundled as surround or multi-channel-stereo.

Hello,I started my sonos system 18 years ago in 2006.  I use all connects and connects amps with the exception of the playbar and sub (both gen 1).  The playbar is in my masterbedroom and gets used for whole house audio but primarily for bedtime tv viewing of local news.  Over the years on other bedroom tv’s I’ve tried other soundbars: Polk; Denon; Yamaha; Sony etc and all were returned because I couldn’t hear dialog at low volumes.  My wife would yell to turn it down even on the lowest setting and any lower settting literally turned the volume completely off.  The Sonos playbar is the only soundbar I’ve owned were I could hear dialog without pissing her off.  As I upgrade my system, I can get a 30% discount on the arc with all the upgrade codes sonos is giving me.  So my question is, has anyone gone from the original playbar to any of the new Sonos soundbars and were there any negatives to the sound quality?  My experience is newer isn’t always better.  Thanks all, I appreciate your f

Hi all. I hope you don't mind me asking for some help. I've seen some posts but can't seem to solve my issue.I have a TCL 50RP620K Roku TV with a Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series S connected. I previously had a Sonos Ray and two Ones as surrounds with this setup and all worked perfectly.I recently upgraded to a Beam (Gen 2) again with the Ones as surrounds. This meant moving around my connections so the Beam could take HDMI1 which is the only one with ARC.The Switch works as normal. However, this created a lag with the Xbox. I couldn't play anything as the lag was affecting the control of the game. From checking connections and settings, and moving the Beam to another HDMI input, I discovered that when the Beam was disconnected, the Xbox went back to normal. I was able to solve the Xbox issue by selecting "Passthrough" instead of "Auto" under "Digital output format" from my TV's audio settings.However, with this selected, audio for live TV is now coming up as PCM where this was previous

Hi,My beam gen2 is connected to my WiFi and I am playing music too it now but when I try and add any voice assistant, it doesn't matter which one,  all I get is 'there was a problem connecting to your device' message.  I have tried all the usual things, reboot router and so on, but the device is obviously connected as I'm playing music and can see it within the Sonos app.I'm out of ideas 

I recently purchased a SONOS BEAM and an IKEA SYMFONISK.I was able to set up the SYMFONISK as surround speakers for the BEAM.However, I would like to use the infonisks as stereo speakers and not play the BEAM when I am playing music, and only revert to the surround system when watching movies etc.Is it possible to set this up?
