In the new Sonos app, when you navigate to Settings>Room with TV/Playbar, the TV Settings allowing you to connect remote and others only shows up some of the time. Products and Sound headings always show up but I have attempted to connect a TV remote only to not find the menu the next time I open the same app window.

I have a Sony OLED 55 connected to a Sonos Beam, it has been functioning fine for months suddenly cannot find arc.. not sure if firmware update has broken connection.. I have switched off eARC and also tried turning on/ off Bravia sync. I have factory reset Beam, still no luck. Powered down everything then just connected beam only still nothing. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have three sound bars in three separate rooms.  Arc (family room), Beam (attic), Beam (master bedroom). The Arc and the Beam in the attic room have a linked volume, but they are not grouped and are not playing the same media. For example:  If I am listening to music on one, and someone is watching TV on the other, the volumes raise and lower together as each user changes the volumes for their media in their room. This does not happen with the other Beam in the bedroom.  Any ideas what's up, or how to fix this issue?  I have tried grouping with other rooms, ungrouping, etc. Thanks!

I bought a beam in 2020 and have just bought the sub gen3 and 2 x One SL speakers to get sound surround. I can’t connect the sun or speakers to the beam? Can anyone help please?

That second TV Room is the Amp from what I can tell.

I have my own preamp that switches between phono and TV. This feeds the line input of a Port. This setup enables synchronized sound in three adjoining rooms. This works well, but I want to add a soundbar for enhanced dialog from the TV. The problem is getting everything to synch. Another problem might configuring Sonos to understand the three channel setup.

Good morning,I wanted to reconfigure my Sonos in the app because they had disappeared. Wir haben unsere Sonos Geräte neu mit dem neuen wlan verbunden und nun können wir die Lautstärke nicht mehr mit der tv Fernbedienung regeln. Nur noch über die App. Was kann ich tun, dass wir das wieder können?  Moderator edit:Google Translate-We have reconnected our Sonos devices to the new WiFi and now we can no longer control the volume with the TV remote control. Only via the app. What can I do so that we can do this again?

Sonos Arc loses network connection daily and sub won't connect at all.  Says "needs update" on the app and then won't complete the update with just "something went wrong' message.

Hello all I have this unit can it be linked up via Bluetooth to my android phone please so I can play music through speaker system .Also I've programed the wrong remote control into the setup how can I delete this and setup the correct remote .Best Stacy

The left rear works fine. Right Rear…sounds like dead air.

Hello, I need some help. Our Sonos system is currently giving us issues with one TV show in particular, which is strange. Whenever we watch The Walking Dead the ARC soundbar gives us this terrible distorted sound which kind of sounds like a speaker is blown whenever there is a scene with growling, shooting or fighting. We cannot figure it out because it works just fine with any other movie or tv show with shooting or loud noises. Can someone please help? Has anyone ever had an issue like this before?

Hi - My Arc appears to be dead - not visibile in the app, but also no longer getting audio from the TV (eARC connection), and the status light is not on. Tried to troubleshoot: Unplugged all cables, including power, waited, plugged back in... still nothing Tried factory reset - unit seemed entirely unresponsive (no blinking lights, orange, white, or otherwise.) The only indication that the device has power is that the status light over the microphone icon is lit up. Outside of that, no joy. Any thoughts as to what else I can try?

Does the Arc require Ethernet to use an Amp for surround? The Amp is connected to Ethernet and has WiFi on. The Arc says that it needs to be connected to Ethernet (I wish I knew this before patching the walls) when it connects to the Amp for surround. The surrounds don’t seem to work. How to actually test that, btw?

When watching a cable tv show with a beam sound bar, does an era100 speaker have the dialog as well as the background music of the program?

Je possède une barre de son sonos beam 2. Beaucoup de difficulté pour trouver le réseau et n’arrive pas à me connecter avec le compte propriétaire du système  Moderator edit:Google Translate-I have a Sonos Beam 2 soundbar. I have a lot of difficulty finding the network and cannot connect with the account that owns the system

I’ve restarted and added my Beam three times, and continue to see this message. After powering it off and on again, it never appears in my Sonos app. This is beyond frustrating!

Dear community,I recently bought a Sonos Arc which works fine when connected to my TV. The problem is that I cannot finalize the app registration (android phone) due to failure on checking for updates step (Error code 1101). Scrolling through the forums, I found that it’s due to some weird network connectivity issue which I am currently not able to solve.Things that I’ve tried:Plugging ethernet cable to the soundbar; Reboot router; Update via windows PC app; Before reaching to the customer support, I wanted to check if anyone recently had this problem and if there are any other suggestions solve it. Thank you!

(also posted this on the PreSonus forum)Hi! Recently switched to Studio One for working in Atmos - love it! Also recently bought a Sonos system: Arc soundbar, 2 Era 300s for surround (rear), and will be adding a sub later this month.Have been rendering ADM-BW files and using Dolby Renderer to export to MP4s; plays fine in the Sonos app; but would really be great if I could run Studio One live to my Sonos systems to listen, mix, tweak...Have tried airplay (have a 4k Apple TV), but the Studio One output prefs say airplay only does 41.1k and atmos needs 48k. Tried streaming via airfoil app and connecting my macbook pro M1 to my TV (has eArc going to the Sonos Arc), but only get stereo playback there.Considering getting a NVIDA Shield Pro to stream from Studio One live - would that work?Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated - thanks!Dan

Spent several hundred dollars and half a day today with no result.  I bought a pair of ERA 100s and tried to add them as surrounds to my Arc and sub  set up.   I set tup the speakers with not problem individually,  then went to add as surrounds to my living room.  The system asked me to select one of the era 100s. identified  which side of the room it is on using a chime sound and then selected to add them.   Tried about 30 times.  Re starting the roster, the speakers, the arc, everything.  Even a couple of times it said they were successfully set up,  but they weren't.  Spent about 2 hours chatting to a Sonos support person online.   She basically gave up and gave me a list of questions to ask my internet service provider.  That is not going to be easy - their tech support is not exactly straightforward to deal with.  Very frustraded,   Ton between holding on and seeing if it resolves itself and driving the speakers back to the shop in anger. i have had era 100s as surrounds on this s

Even the most of my new touch of the HDMI cable(For example, when installing the arc and mounting to the wall) Causes it to disconnect from the TV.  At this point, I’ve tried putting spacers behind the cable where it connects to the arc. I have tape going around the entire ark to hold the cable in place, but it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. No movement, and not installed is working fine. This is the least premium HDMI port I have ever seen in my life. :(

I bought an arc, 4 era 300s and 2 gen 3 subs. Only 1 pair of 300s will connect as surround. The other 2 can be set as a separate stereo set, but the volume doesn’t change with the arc and the timing is slightly off.  also, the second sub won’t connect after the mandatory update, so it is now useless. I tried to plug it in with an ethernet cord and it won’t switch over therefore not connecting.  wtf. Please help.

I added the second sub gen 3 to my existing setup of Arc, a pair of fives and an existing sub gen3.  the sub is shown in the app but says sub not registered.  I’ve tried resetting the sub, the modem, the app, everything.  no joy please help

I have a Sonos arc, sub, and two play fives that I was using as surround speakers. I moved to a new apartment and no longer have the fives I was going to replace them with something else. I seem to be unable to remove them and I don’t have them anymore because they’re in storage. is there a way to move them or set the room up again?
