After four month of working completely fine and no changes to my router or network, my Beam will no longer syncs with my 2 Ones and Gen 3 Sub.  Help!  I’ve reset everything to factory and it still won’t sync. I was able to get the Beam to connect to the Ones in surround mode by connecting the Beam to an Ethernet cable.  But once I unplugged the Ethernet cable it no longer works.  Help!!!!

I have an 11 month old, Samsung 82” QLED Q70R. I recently purchased the new Sonos Arc and I can not get Dolby Atmos to work.  TV Setup - I have the Arc connected to the TV via the HDMI 4 (ARC) using the HDMI cable Sonos provided with the speaker. (It’s not and eARC port, but according to Samsungs website it supports Dolby Digital+ and Atmos. In the TV’s “expert” sound settings, I have the Dolby Atomos Compatibility box checked, and when I connected the Sonos Arc it said “Atmos enabled device detected.” Yet when I go to the Digital Output Audio For… setting, it only allows me to select Dolby Digital.  I am currently using an Xbox 1s and Apple TV 4K for streaming, Netflix, HBOMAX, HULU, Disney+, etc. When I go to the XBOX settings, I have HDMI Audio set to Bitsream Out. However, when I go to the Bitstream format setting, whenever I select Dolby Atmos for home theater or DTS:X for home theater, I get a message that says: “Your receiver doesn’t support Dolby At

I’m observing audio dropping out on my Beam while watching Netflix and Disney+. This is especially confusing, since the Beam is connected via Ethernet with a fresh cable, so it’s not Wi-Fi related. Any suggestions? I’ve already tried rebooting the router and the Beam itself, and it’s not happening with my other Sonos speakers in the house.

I have a speaker system that includes the Arc, Sub (Gen 3) and two Sonos One SLs.When I am watching television, it randomly turns itself down.I am not touching the remote or the app, and there is nothing/nobody else in my house that would be turning it down. Frustrating.Anyone have any ideas on how to make this stop?

Hi All, my set up is as follows:PC connected to TV (LG CX 77”) via HDMI and TV connected to Arc (eArc port via my own HDMI cable as the supplied cable did not work). The Sonos Ones are set up as surrounds. The issues are:when I switch between the phone App and the TV / PC controls - there is no sound. it seems there is a handshake issue and I have to switch the TV off and on for it to work. sometimes, when I turn on the TV, I get a weird noise from the Arc and have to switch TV off and on for it to work. the surrounds do not work even when ‘Audio In’ for the Arc within ‘About my system’ says ‘Dolby Multichannel PCM 5.1’. am not sure why. Please help / advise.thanks a lot !

Until recently, I had a Playbase connected to my LG smart TV with an optical audio cord. Also connected were my Sub woofer and 2 Ones giving me surround sound for the TV that seemed to work very well. Inmy living room I also had an older Marantz receiver, 2 decent wired speakers, a CD player and a Turntable giving me a reasonable stereo system.In my infinate wisdom, I purchased an Amp which was to replace the receiver. My hope was to connect everything together so that I could have my TV with surround sound or switch to my CD or Turntable or the Sonos app for stereo. I purchased Y RCA plugs so I could connect both the CD player and the Turntable to the AMP. Obviously only one at a time but I hoped to save pulling and inserting plugs all the time.  The TV is now hooked up to both the playbase (optical cord) and the AMP (ARC  HDMI). Nothing is working as it should and I’d like to start over. I’m also contemplating moving the Playbase to the Bedroom TV and using the wired speake

HiI've had to reset my ARC and I use my 2 SL1’s for surrounds. I have a feeling it used to say ARC + Surround …. ? any help would be appreciated 👍  

I live in Toronto, and my TV cable is Rogers Ignite which uses hdmi cables to connect to my BenQ projector.  I understand that the beam has to connect directly to my projector through one of the two existing HDMI ports, how do i connect my cable box and roku or xbox?thanks   

All my hdmi ports are occupied, by a nintendo switch, an apple tv, a ps5 and an xbox series x. I have a 5.1 setup with the arc two rears and a sub but the LG OLED C7 doesnt support 2.1 and thus doesnt transmit Dolby Atmos. Given this, is there any significant disadvantage to connecting a Sonos Arc to an LG OLED C7 via optical port than via hdmi?

I have my Beam connected to my Visio M470NV using the HDMI/optical adapter. I’ve programmed my Spectrum remote a half dozen times to control the sound. Each time it works for a while, then stops, and I have to go through the whole process to “Set up new TV remote” again. This is very frustrating because half the time when I want to mute the TV I have to pull up the app to do so.

WHY IS MY SONOS BEAM MAKING A BUZZING NOISE?? 

Hi, here is my set up.LG CX OLED connected to the sonos arc SL from Costco via HDMI through the eARC port. Previously everything worked well until I had to unplug things today to mount the arc onto the wall.After reconnecting I can no longer control the volume using the LG remote. I have tried the Philips method, setting up universal remote, reconnecting, powering off and trying different hdmi cables, trying to setup remote with the sonos app. Seems my issue isn't isolated after some research online but there is no consistent or reproducible fix.I realized the following1. The arc responds to the remote, blinking indicator light when the TV is turned off each time I press volume down.2. The sonos app states my eARC is not connected, although I'm getting appropriate sound, my TV states it is using ARC out and eARC turned on.

I recently purchased a LG OLED 77CX and connected my Sonos Arc. On the TV, there’s a setting to turn on the eARC capability. However, when I turn on the eARC capability, the sound through the Sonos Arc cuts out every few seconds and comes back on within a second or two. I thought eARC capability was the newest technology; however, it seems something isn’t connecting properly between the TV and Sonos Arc.

Hi - I have some questions for the community on my Sonos setup.  I have a Sonos Arc that is flanked by two Play:5’s.  See attached picture for my set up.Should I keep the Sonos Arc strictly for TV and the Play:5’s for music?  I initially set the Arc, and the two Play:5’s as a group in the ‘Living Room’ group - now when I play music - the music is coming from the Arc AND the two Play:5’s I fear that I’m not maximizing the ‘stereo’ advantages of both Play:5’s with the Arc doing some of the heavy lifting when it comes to playing music.  I did do the ‘Truetuning’ exercise by walking around the room - but again, I still fear I’m not getting that ‘stereo’ sound from my two Play:5’s During set up - it asked if I wanted to set up the Arc and two Play:5’s as ‘surrounds’ - but I’m not sure if that was a good idea or the point of it - since the Play:5’s are below my TV and Arc - not ‘behind’ me etc.

My Arc and surround was working totally fine up until today. Audio comes through mybTV just fine but not my Arc. I know it’s detecting the Arc because when I turn up the volume on my Roku remote it registers as Sonos (optical) but no sound comes through. Any ideas? 

Hi,I need some advice, the joiners have built this media wall. I am planning to buy a Arc, Sub Gen 3, 2x Sonos ONE speakers.My question is can the ARC sit above the TV? Does the sub need to be hardwired to the Arc?  

New Sonos beam speaker is connected and working with t.v. the app will always fail after setting up speaker. Speaker continues to work through app failures. I can reset everything from app to internet and beam. Once speaker installs app fails and can't find system and sometimes no system found on this account. Everything on same network and 2ghz I would just like to have full access to settings. Any ideas?

I can’t get my Sonos system to connect to my WiFi. After 4 days of trying I finally took the security off and it connects. But nothing else in my smart house works. I can’t have an open internet. What do I do? I use wpa personal auto. 

Hello,  I have the arc set up through optical and until today I always had the sub and two oneSL set up as surround. Now I have lost configuration and connection to the surround and sub. I have done all the usual power master resets but now I can’t seem to get them to all connect to each other. When I set up the second of the the two one SL’s it always tells me “this oneSL will not show up in your list, power down and let it reboot to add”. It never works.  What do I do? 

I just purchased an Arc speaker and have connected it to the Samsung F8000 HDMI (ARC) port.  The TV sees that there is something connected to the port however the Sonos2 App is saying that it cannot connect the speaker to the TV.Suggestions??

Can anyone share how long is the power cord that comes with the ARC ?

Can anyone tell me. We have two Play1 speakers, we are looking to buy a Sonos Beam for our garden room to use for the T.V in there.....can I connect that to our Play1 speakers on the app to play music through as well?? As well as using it as a soundbar for the T.V separately when needed? Thanks!

When I play YouTube on my TV through my beam and sonos amp, my ceiling speakers the music goes out of sync. To be clear the ceiling speakers are hard wired into the Amp and the amp is linked to the Beam (and Sony TV) I've played around with the app to no avail.  The Amp appears to run the sound slightly ahead of the Beam, and it sounds terrible! What can I do to fix this ? Thanks Ollie  

Hi guysI would like to know how I can connect my denon avr-x2200w to my sonos arc, the structure is as follows: I have an Apple tv connected to denon, but I would like the audio to come out through the sonos arc, is it possible?

Hello, I know there are similar questions posted on the forum but at this point I am just a little confused. I have a beam, sub, amp and ceiling speakers all of which are Sonos products. After doing more research, I understand that the beam acts as the front left, right and center speakers and so using all four of the ceiling speakers for surround purposes is not feasible. Is there a way in the app to just make everything a stereo pair to play throughout the room? It currently does this for music, but right now in TV mode the only thing that is playing is the beam and the sub (not even two of the speakers). Any advice is appreciated. It sounds like it may be easier to just buy two ones as rears and keep the ceiling speakers for music only, but it just seems a bit silly to me to spend more money. Thank you!
