Been having trouble lately with my Sony TV/ HD Fury Arcana/ Sonos Arc. I have had the HD Fury Arcana since its initial kickstarter and its mostly worked fine to deliver Dolby Atmos from my Xbox One X to my Sonos Arc. But recently things have gone a bit weird. Now when I turn my TV on the audio doesn't come on.  The TV recognises that an external speaker system is attached & active, and in fact it will not allow me to revert to TV Speakers.  But the Arc and the Sonos app do not register any input.  The only way to fix this is to unplug the Arcana and re-start it. Then the sound triggers / handshakes with the Sonos Arc. I have to do this every time I turn the TV on. (NOTE: The Arcana shows all inputs and outputs are active on its LED display) My first thought is that the Arcana is the problem, but the thing is- I haven't done anything with the Arcana recently. Hey all,I've been breaking my head over a weird situation with my audio at home. Trying to connect my Nvidia Shield (2017), through a USB DAC (Douk U2) to my Sonos Beam. I'm using a projector without ARC, so am bound to use the optical connection.I've been testing playing videos from various services and some that I have stored locally. The only ones that produces sound on the Beam are ones with AC3 5.1. With any other ones (AAC, AAC 5.1), the Beam doesn't return any sound. In the app under "About My System", the Beam shows a blank at "Audio in:".This seemed rather odd to me, so I ended up buying a digital-to-analogue converter so I can test the optical signal with my headphones. Just bought a cheap one (Techole HS203-BK). In this test I'm still connecting the Shield via USB to the Douk U2, and the Douk U2 via optical to the digital-analogue converter. Funnily enough I get sound when using files with AAC or AAC 5.1 sound, or when I force the Shield to output regular stereo sound. (AC3

My sound drop outs only occur when I am watching something with Dolby Atmos content. Sound drops for about a second every 15 to 30 minutes. I am currently using a Sonos Boost.

I cannot connect my playbar to my Sonia system and if I try to reset it it does not flash green afterwards what do I do

I have a beam and 2 sonos ones setup in my lounge. The TV is connected to the beam via HDMI arc.When I turn on the TV, many times the sound does not kick in. Sometimes the app tells me there is a problem with the setup and cannot recognise the arc setup etc.. after a few attempts it starts.Sometimes I have to restart everything to get it working, it’s very frustrating indeed. Any ideas please?

Hello there, Im one of the few lucky the preordered early and own a PS5. I have an odd situation on my hands. 4kbluray works fine for ATMOS, but anything other than ATMOS is in stereo PCM, no dolby digital no matter what settings I use from PS5 4kbluray player.Of course I have the TV setup as pass through...as I’ve said ATMOS works perfectly for both streaming and 4kbluray and all all equipment including TV, PS5 and all SONOS were and are constantly updated. I scribbled up a matrix and have tested ALL combinations of audio settings between my TV and PS5 and have tested every condition over the course of a week. Still the same...ATMOS=perfect from 4k bluray/Sreaming but anything other than ATMOS is stereo PCM from PS5 4kbluray player.I have also tested a Sony X800 4kblu ray player instead of the PS5 and it has no issues playing Dolby Digital.Any ideas why the ARC hates the PS5? Thanks in advance

Friends  i setting up my movie theater with bluray and epson 2250 3D projector and Sonos arc soundbar.  in my opinion for me to have access to 3D atmos i need to buy a fury arcana HD adapter to get all the benefits of the soundbar with immersion right?  and how would this bluray hdmi connection look like connected to the adapitador= projector ???  thanks

I put my Arc on my TV table but it doesn’t sit level due to the TV stand coming too far forward, and looks a bit odd as it hangs over the sides a bit. I slipped a couple bricks under it (shades of college) and really liked the change, well aside from the ugly bricks.I ordered some stands that looked interesting but I’m having issues getting an un-damaged pair delivered from Amazon. Has anyone seen any other similar stands?  

Hello everyone. i must admit i am really fed up with my Sonos playbar. I have firetv stick setup and it’s playing on my tv and this Sonos doesn’t play the audio. I checked everywhere and I can’t fond anything. It’s 2021! Why is it so hard to figure this out? help please

Hi, I currently have a Beam, Sub and 2x Sonos Ones. Beam and sub are working great and both Sonos Ones connect as single speakers with no issues. When I come to group them all as a surround sound group, both Sonos Ones are undiscoverable by the app and I have to factory rest both Sonos Ones.Any ideas what is going wrong here?

I have the following equipment that was connected to my Xfinity Gateway fine until Friday June 18Sonos Beam, 2 Sonos SL surrounds, Sub Woofer 3On Saturday June 19, I tried to play SiriusXM like I do everyday and it couldn't connect. I checked the sonos app and my System was grayed out. This has happened periodically so I tried to follow the instructions to reconnect the system to my network with no success (this also has happened before).I have repeatedly reset the Xfinity Gateway modem (Both manually and through the Xfinity app)I have unplugged all of the Sonos components and deleted and downloaded the Sonos app to start fresh I can successfully connect the Beam to the app, but it fails every time when trying to connect to my network All my other devices (iPad, 2 computers, 2 phones) are connected to my network we with no issues I've run diagnostics on the network and modem and everything checks out fine  I cannot reconnect my speakers no matter what I try. Is anyone else having this

Hi All,I have searched nearly all the topics but cant find an answer  I have Arc and 2 One SL’s as surrounds  running now. but i also have a SVS sub and a turntable that i want to add to the system. If i buy an Amp can i use like that:1- Arc as front/center, One SL’s as surrounds and SVS sub with Amp on TV? I know that if i wire third party as surrounds i can not use my sub. But i will not wire as surrounds  or i will wire as a second option. 2- I also have Dynaudio SP40’s. If i buy an Amp, can i use as a stereo setup by Amp with out using Arc and One SL’s? Or if i add Amp - wired SP 40’s as front; can i use Arc+One SL’s+ Sub + Sp’40’s at same time?Thanks 

Hi I have a system with a Sonos Boost and a variety of Ones, Threes and Moves plus two Arcs with surrounds and one of the Arcs has a SubAll the devices are connected as expected WM:0 for all the standalone ones and threes and WM:1 for the Moves.The Arc surrounds (one SL’s) and the Sub show up as bonded WM:2 but the Arcs themselves show up as WM:1 when I am expecting WM:0 I have removed and re-added one of the Arcs and it’s surrounds but it still shows connected to my WiFi network not SonosNet - Any ideas out there - thanks 

So I’ve used Sonos products before an never had a problem with them, I have just purchased a Sonos Arc and cannot get this setup at all.  I am using the Sonos 2 app, I can see the arc, go through the setup to add the Arc to my WIFI and I cannot get this to work nor my old play:1 speaker,These are the only devices I have a problem with, everything else connects to WiFi and works as expected.  I have reset both devices numerous times, reset WiFi, changed WiFi settings and nothing works at all.i don’t want to have to return the Arc (I was going to buy the sub and rear speakers) but I cam close to giving up.  Such a massive disappointment for such and expensive product that just does not work.please help!

Hello I have having difficulties setting up the audio portion for my karaoke machine to Sonos ARC. The karaoke machine has an HDMI which is connect but also has audio out cables in white and red. The picture is working but how I do set up to have sound working? My TV only has hdmi and cables.. 😭

Hi, I have issues playing series on DisneyTV, AppleTV or Netflix via the AppleTV OS. I am using an LG smart tv (OLED65C8), combined with an Apple TV 4k (first generation) as well as a Sonos Beam for audio.When watching series or movies, every few minutes the sound cuts off for 1-2 seconds and sometimes the picture jumps a bit. Then everything is fine for a few mins before it starts again. I do not seem to have the issue when accessing Netflix content via the LG OS but would prefer to use AppleTV. Has anyone had similar issues in the past? Thank youSebastian 

Out of the blue my surround setup started humming during tv play back only connected via optical input. It changes to a buzz of changing input type to pcm. Noise changes based on how control sees the sound. No buzz when using Dolby 1.0 starts when it switches to 2.0 Diagnostic number 1730440927. 

This is honestly occurring to me so often that I’m kind of put off by the sonos “all things wireless” system.I have two Sonos Surrounds and 1 Sonos Beam, all wireless.Every so often the system loses the surrounds and they either show in the app as +?+? as surrounds and no sound playing or are showing as if everything is good but no sound playing.Today they just refuse to connect no matter how many times I reset the system. Things I tried:Rebooted the Beam and both surrounds Reboot the router Turned off the router, turned off all sonos, turned on the router, waited 5 minutes, turned on the sonos products. Removed the surrounds from the app, factory reset the surrounds, reconnected them to the network. I moved the 2.4Ghz Channel from 6 to 11.Now the surrounds don’t even show up in the app. Also during the setup, it was taking a long time and it was saying at the end that they are connected but they might not show up in the app and I need to restart the surrounds. I DID, MANY TIMES.I subm

Can 4 sonos one’s be used in a surround setup with an Arc soundbar?

Hi,I have troubles with my 2 One SL + tablet using Sonos connected with my Spotify account…  Intermittently, the sound is off (but the song continue) and the system change the song to the next. My tablet shows me that Wifi signal is not good enough. The distance between the tablet and the router is 4 meters... My system worked well during many months without any troubles with the same hardware and internet connection.  Do you have a solution? I tried to separate 2.4GHZ Wifi signal and 5GHZ to avoid changes without success. Thanks in advance

Hello.  I've recently purchased a new Sonos Arc, TV and DVD players.   The TV is an LG OLED65CX5LB 65" 4K Ultra HD Smart OLED TV and the DVD player is a Sony UBPX500B 4K Bluray Player.  I understand both are able to play Dolby Atmos.  I'm using Sky Q for my main TV system and have set it to Ultra HD and Dolby Digital Plus.I have set up the Arc to the TV using the correct HDMI ARC port and the DVD player and Sky Q to the TV using other HDMI ports.  I've tired to watch a Sky Q Ultra HD film (it says Dolby Atmos available in the Sky Cinema section) and Ive also watched an Ultra HD DVD (with Dolby Atmos) on the DVD player.  Neither are showing Dolby Atmos on the Sonos App and it says its receiving Stereo PCM when I check it.  What am I doing wrong?  Thanks.

I purchased the Bose 700 and Bass Module 700.  After reading all the reviews and comparing Bose and Sonos on paper and watching videos… I made the decision to take it back and get the Sonos Arc and Gen 3 Sub.  Not sure if I made the right decision.  It’s possible I don’t have the settings set correctly?  The dialogue on several shows and movies is hard to hear as it is drowned out by background and action noises.. I tuned it with my iPhone and it’s better but not by much at all.  The night mode and voice enhancement are terrible together so not going to be using those.  Voice enhancement along doesn’t make a huge difference at all.  In regards to the dialogue the Bose 700 is WAY better, in my opinion.  Unless there’s a setting that I’m just missing??  I understand every room and listening experience is going to be different for every user but, is there a “general setting” I can start off with to help with dialogue??  I know with the Bose 700 I could turn the center speaker up and down

I am planing to make 5.1 Surround setup products mention in the description below. My only concern is does this setup required WIFI connectivity ?? If not then how we can setup this. Could anyone please help me to make me understand this. Center - Soundbar ARC  Front Speaker - SL1 - Right and Left Rear Speaker - SL1 - Right and Left  Sonos SUB - 1   

I just installed a outdoor speaker and they hook it up to my amp that controls my upstairs speakers.  I have a amp the runs my downstairs, but I also have a ARC.  Is there a way I can move the outdoor speaker to work on the downstairs amp and run different music outside and also upstairs, while still using my arc (since that is connected direct with the TV).

Hello All,I have a Beam, Sub and 2 Ones set up in my living room, the sub keeps disconnecting and wont reconnect. I get the following in System: Lounge (+?+LS+RS).When I go to ‘Add Product’  the search for nearby products cannot find the sub.  Unplugging everything and leaving for a few minutes sometimes works but is a pain.
