Hi all, I currently have a sonos arc (non ultra) paired with a sub gen 3 and two era 300 as surround. I also have a beam gen 2 and two ones in other rooms but my question is this…I want to turn off my 2.4g wifi signal and only use 5g and above on my router. My arc and sub gen 3 won't work on this band but the era 300 will.I am wondering if the setup will work if I hardwire the arc to a router (which the sub can join along with other older speakers via sonosnet) and also have the era 300 (and beam) connect via 5g?Will they still all work together and will the era 300s still work as rears to the arc, as the arc will he hardwired but the eras will be wifi 5g (I believe the eras will not use sonosnet as it is phased out on newer speakers)?I hope it am making sense. Any help is appreciated. P.s the reason I want 2.4g off is some other devices prioritise it but I need them to be on 5g for stable cloud gaming and they don't have manual selection.

I like that the dialog is very easy to hear without having to turn on any dialog adjustments. The problem is I barely hear the left and right channel audio. Background music is barely audible. I’ve tried it with both Trueplay turned on and off and there isn’t much improvement. I know the left/right channels are working because I hear music. Anyone else have this problem?

I’m looking for some advice on optimizing my Sonos Era 300 surrounds. My family room is 15’ wide with 9’ ceilings, and I’m sitting about 8–12’ away from an 82-inch TV. The area behind the couch is a large, open-concept space (kitchen/breakfast nook).Currently, my Era 300s are positioned to the sides near the walls and windows. I’m considering installing floor outlets under the couch to move the speakers directly behind the main seating area. Given the open space behind the sofa, would moving them closer to the listening position significantly improve the height and surround channels, or is the current side-wall placement better for this room's acousticsfamily room 

I can’t get my sub to hold the setting I set it to. Each time it defaults to zero for cross over. And regardless of what I set. It does not sound any better.  I have unplugged and powered my amp up. I have done the same to my sub.  I have run true play again. All the equipment is up to date and has most recent updates   

Can the Sonos amp be controlled by Bluetooth or WiFi without using the Sonos amp for anyone to control and connect through blue tooth 

I know it’s a TV setting, but since the TV hasn’t had firmware updates in a while, it makes me somewhat suspicious of a possible update to my Sonos Arc Ultra soundbar.For the past few days, even though I have the TV set to “DD+”, it randomly switches back to “PCM” on its own. Obviously, when I play something in Atmos or DD+, it stays in PCM until I manually change the TV settings again.It’s very annoying—every time I want to watch a new video, I have to go into the TV settings just to check if everything is correct.The TV is a few years old, but this didn’t happen before on my Samsung MU6100.

Hello, I have a question in real life scenario, I couldn't mount the era300s as recommended in my lounge.  Hi,Due to a new sofa, (missus not me) I couldn't use the speaker stands anymore . Even worse I had to mount them 1.4m for for headroom clearance using sonos swivel mounts and locked  So, they're pretty high, I still got 2.5m clearance to the ceiling. The new sofa is right up against the back wall, the era speakers have 12 inches clearance from side walls which I understand is a requirement too. . Of course advanced trueplay has been done, i think the speakers are now a bit to high, and now they're mounted on the wall (a freshly reskimmed wall) I'll never be able to move them again  without death from the missus. I found the sound not to be quite as immersive since I was forced remove the stands & wall mount the era300s, would a slight angle on the speakers help, or will my ears just adjust over time? Agai

Hello!This is an issue I posted about a while ago, but it unfortunately is still happening. When I play Atmos music (from Apple Music, Amazon music, and Tidal — all inside the Sonos app) through my Arc Ultra + Era 300 system, the Ambient/Full music playback settings change the sound of the Era 300s even though that setting says it doesn’t apply to Atmos playback. With Ambient selected, the Era 300s are filtered to play a smaller frequency range, just like the setting does when playing stereo music. I have confirmed 100% that I am playing Atmos music and attempted this with multiple services all within the Sonos app, so I know it is not an issue of playing the wrong format. I’m wondering if others have experienced this as well. Thank you!

Hey need some help, my Sonos system won’t register to app, I have a bear gen 1 and sub gen 3. I have update wifi, tried resetting system, factory reset. Still I can’t connect to my exciting system 

my sonos arc keeps having problems with stuttering audio, it’s cutting out at random times,this is really annoying, everytime I'm watching a program at random points, you can hear the audio cutting out for like half a second, I have an LG tv, and the soundbar has been connected through HDMI,i also have a optical audio output/input but i was told that for me to benefit from Dolby Atmos I should keep my Sonos Arc connected through HDMI instead of optical. thank you in advance for your reply.

I have a Samsung sound bar and subwoofer Bluetooth… I was hoping to pair a couple era 100’s to broaden my Samsung surround system for a large family room. Can they be paired to the Samsung soundbar which is paired via Bluetooth to the Samsung tv?

I have upgraded my broadband with a new router provided by Vodafone. I had to reconnect my Sonos system to the new configuration/wifi name. Majority of Sonos connected without any issues, mini sub and two play ones used as surrounds are proving to be as stubborn as it’s possible to be. The play ones can be added as normal to the surround option and then after 15 seconds become disconnected and have to be factory reset in order get them to connect to the system again. Same with the Sub only it says it’s been “added to my system but might not show up, if so unplug and plug in and continue in settings” needless to say this does nothing, it doesn’t show and is not connected. The sub will connect only if I connect direct to the router with a cable but as soon as the cable is removed the sub disconnects. I’m going round and round in circles and getting absolutely nowhere. The sound bar for my set up is a Sonos beam which is working fine.I have factory reset everything a

My Sono arc sound bar keeps make a sound like a water drop. How do I fix this?

Hi guys, I probably felt into trap I totally do not expect. I decided to go full Sonos, so spent like 4k on the speakers and accessories, but had no idea, that even these days, someone will build the device with one input.So - do you have any experience with automated HDMI splitter? Or at least some remote / home assistant integradable? My setup is:One side of room: Panasonic UB9000 Apple TV PS5 Sonos Arc Ultra15m HDMI cables running inside the walls into ceiling mounted projector JVC DLA-NZ7Until now I was using like 15 years old 2+1 system with many inputs, so I was able to sent video into projector and audio into amp. Was would be your suggestion, to keep get the max from the Arc? 

I have Play1 and Playbar in my livingroom, the speakers are not Bluetooth. When I start up my working pc from my job, the are 4 high sound in the speakers. I dont have any Sonos on the computer because It's a work computer, and the noise comes even before the computer itself has started up, it comes as soon as I turn it on. It could also be some smart home thing messing around, but I've tried everything.

I just upgraded my TV to a new Samsung and wanted to connect my older Playbar.  New TV does not have optical audio, so I needed an E-ARC > Optical extractor to convert the TV audio to a signal the Playbar can read.  I searched for info but was unable to find much. Any links to converters were UK Amazon links and unavailable US. Hi All, ​"I upgraded from the Sonos Beam 2 to the Sonos Arc Ultra. I noticed that the sound coming directly from the soundbar is flat. When paired with the subwoofer, the bass is actually worse than it was with the Beam 2. It seems like the crossover is poorly calibrated out of the box. There is too big of a gap between the soundbar and the sub. With the Beam, everything was much more balanced. For such an expensive setup, the sound quality is not satisfactory. Perhaps Sonos should update the firmware."

sonos beam disconnecting surround play1 speakers and sub from my wifireset and re-adding 2x play1 and sub to my accounts via S2 app works as a stereo-pair with sub. adding these speakers to my beam as a surround speaker and sub worked but now the play1 and sub units disconnect from my networkso others here have had the question which goes unanswered; so it might be a transient outage?was working and though I think there haven’t been changes to my network, it seems that now the speakers are disconnecting from the network….

Greetings i recently bought 2 era 300 to place them as surrounds, replacing my old one Sl's. The room is wide but there is an obstacle a pillar in left side of the room. I tried to draw the room. is placing the era behind the pillar on the marked yellow spot will reduce it's effect.And changing angel of it will help or it is a complete dead spot.any other options of mounting on wall that can help ?Thank you

Hello everyone, I’ve recently set up a new Sonos home theater system and I’m experiencing some issues that I’m hoping to get help with. My setup:Sonos Beam (Gen 2) connected to a Samsung OLED S95C via HDMI eARC Beam is also connected to the router via Ethernet (CAT 8) where my Download speed is 115mbps & Upload is 23mbps 2 × Sonos Era 100 configured as surround speakers Sonos Sub Mini Additional 2 × Era 100 configured as a stereo pair placed to the left and right of the soundbarIssues I’m facing:I’m experiencing intermittent audio dropouts, mainly from the soundbar (Beam), where the sound cuts out for about half a second. The issue occurs only with TV audio (apps, TV channels, and console connected to the TV). When playing music directly from the Sonos app, everything works perfectly with no dropouts. I am streaming with a hardwired (1Gb/s) Nvidia Shield Pro passthrough to a TCL 65QM851G TV. My new Sonos Arc Ultra is plugged into the eARC port of the TV and the TV is set to passthrough to the Arc Ultra. I also have a pair of ERA100’s for surrounds. The Sonos gear is connected to a 5G wifi network. The system plays/streams PCM stereo content with no issue but when I stream any type of Dolby content (Dolby Atmos or Dolby Plus 5.1) it plays awesome for about 5 minutes then the sound starts to drop out very briefly about every 1-2 seconds. If I pause the stream for a couple seconds and restart it, the cycle repeats, 5 minutes of awesome sound then the dropouts restart. What can I do to rectify this issue?

Hi everyone. Just a quick question. I watch streaming channels Netflix, Disney, etc through a 4k Apple tv connected to my Sonos system, arc, 2 era 300's, sub mini. When I am not listening to Dolby Atmos it normally shows on the sonos app as pcm multichannel 5.1, I have found setting  it to Dolby digital 5.1 on the Apple box sounds louder & clearer but they recommend the other. Would be very interested in your thoughts & help. Many thanks.
